Great stay! The place was clean, comfortable and in a great location for our activity in the area. I recommend this place without hesitating!

The location is the most pleasant thing about this condo. Close to everything; walking trails, city center with beautiful shops and restaurants, beach right across the street. You can do anything on foot.

This is a magical place. If you need a rejuvenating retreat by yourself or with someone you love, this is the place. Every bit is intentional and feels thoughtful. The reading/bath area is so beautiful and sitting with a cup of coffee, candle burning, bubble bath, and a book, I felt like I was in a movie. Valérie and Bruno are also very helpful with questions or recommendations we needed. If you’re looking for a place with stuff to do near by, this isn’t the place, but if you want a cozy cottage feel romantic get away, there isn’t a better place.

Amazing gem in the middle of the forest! It demonstrate a perfect harmony between nature and human craft. Lake, horses and a lot of lands so our dog was super happy. We were there 4days but it felt like a two week retreat in terms of recovery and déconnection! Simply amazing

The apartment was beautiful! Everything was clean! The bed was super comfortable. I slept like a baby. The location was peaceful and quiet with exception of the little river next door, which was a welcome and meditative sound. Windows open or air condition, the temperature was easily modified. Great little restaurants and park nearby for a perfect morning 5K! WiFi enabled me to get some work done. Parking was private. Most of all, I felt safe inside the apartment and my surroundings.

Perfect peaceful stay, close to Jay Peak and the Inn's restaraunt is right down the road. Right on the river, we enjoyed being able to do a polar plunge in the woods to start our day! Our pup felt right at home and it's a perfect place to stay anytime of the year

Five *big* stars! Wow! What a spacious, cozy apartment on a beautiful property with absolutely lovely hosts. The apartment was impeccably clean and very well appointed, you can tell the love put into the little details throughout the apartment ( fresh flowers, welcome basket with delicious pumpkin bread and local products, plus a hand written welcome card …). King bed and living room furniture were very comfy, the windows provided lovely cross breezes as well as light . The views from the side yard are stunning , we enjoyed relaxing and listening to the birds in the Adirondack chairs. Nancy was always available if we needed her. We really enjoyed visiting with her and Ken, it was like chatting with neighbors you’ve known for ever. So friendly ! Highly recommend! We will definitely return! Thanks again Nancy and Ken :)

Homey open concept home where you van listen to the river while you take a dip in the cedar hot tub. I also enjoyed the deep soaking tub, closeness to the Von Trappe Famiky Lodge, and the milk brother for my morning coffee.

We loved this property. Very relaxing and peaceful. Everything was perfect and we’d love to come and stay again someday!

The White Owl Cottage is a wonderful and spacious location on a quiet road. It’s impossible to critique a lake front home with kayaks and canoes; space for s’mores; an expansive interior and a modern home. Hotel level water pressure. TV’s for rain. Toys for kids. We generally have a “one time only” rule to make sure we visit different places, and we may break it to visit the White Owl Cottage again - it’s that amazing.

Modern and rustic combined, beautiful sunny kitchen, easy access to kingdom trails. Beds were very comfortable.

This place is worth your stay, it was beautiful smelt fresh as the cleaner did amazing, I felt like I was at home the nice quite outdoors for my family to relax and see the view of lake Eden! Thank you for letting my family enjoy our stay, we will be back!

We had a wonderful stay at Margaret's place. It was a short trip to the NEK to visit family and was a perfect location for a weekend get away! It has all the luxuries of home. We enjoyed having our own space and was close enough to family (5 minutes) so that we could spend our time visiting instead of traveling. It certainly was a winter wonderland at this time of year up there!!! The driveway was a bit slippery and steep, but all and all it was a great stay! We definitely would love to return in the future. so nice to have so many bathrooms and separation of the sleeping quarters so that each family /group can have their own privacy.

Kathy's cabin on the lake is the most magical place - quiet, peaceful and beautiful, the log cabin a throwback to an earlier time (but with great wifi). We sat on the dock with coffee and listened to the sound of loons out on the water. Kathy is also a great host. We will be back (we have actually stayed here a number of times because it's really the most lovely).

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. What a beautiful house! You needed of nothing. The house was so nicely decorated, very clean and so comfortable. You felt right at home. Spacious and so peaceful falling asleep in the most comfortable beds listening to the river running by. Blake and Becca were so helpful and we enjoyed all their suggestions for restaurants and activities around Stowe. We definitely recommend their home and we cannot wait to come back. It really exceeded my expectations. It has a great location, everything is quiet, and we were able to rest well. The bed was extremely comfortable, everything was clean and tidy, and we found a wide variety of things and utensils for everything! I recommend it and we will return soon. Thank you very much! Loved staying at Jake's place. It was so easy to get around and the accomodations were very clean and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again!

Very nice stay at Vanessa's. Everything was clean and functional. We liked to have an aperitif on the terrace overlooking the marina and watch the sunset in the swings by the lake. A relaxing stay in a beautiful setting. Walking distance to the city and grocery store. We'll be back.

We’ve stayed at several condos in the same area. This was definitely our favorite. It was both pristine and cozy. We definitely hope to stay here again.

They condo was one of the best 3 we have ever stayed in. We loved and appreciated all the little touches. We were extremely grateful for the wine, chocolates, cookies...it was nice to discover this after our drive. The condo was spotless, the bed was comfortable, and it truly is a home away from home. We stayed for almost 2 weeks and didn't want to leave yet! It's a nice 1/2 mile walk to the lake and ice cream:). Restaurants, grocery store and other retail is about a 1 mile walk. We absolutely loved the location. We hope to be back again.

Great place to stay … well equipped and a super location.

We would ideally have liked to stay longer and Sarah was very accommodating in that regard but the rainy weather forced us to travel north as we are on tight schedule. Would definitely visit again when we are back in Vermont in future.
