Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Denali Borough

Exactly as described. The Reindeer Cabin was an excellent place for our needs south of Cantwell. Easy in and out and enjoyed grilling while we were there. Peaceful pond to the side of the house and cute snowshoe hares greeted us each morning.

This was a fun place to stay! The views were amazing and the kids especially enjoyed riding the elevator to the top floor (my youngest is 12 and could be trusted with it. If you have younger ones that might be a consideration). This is a great location for making a day trip up to Denali or for visiting any of the other trails or parks around the area. Note the water had a bit of a taste to it. The provided britta filter took care of it mostly but if you’re picky bringing some bottled water may be a good idea. Everything was spotlessly clean and had a vintage Alaska feel. We’d definitely recommend for any friends.

This home is located very close to Denali NP. It was clean and cozy. She had cute touches like sleep masks and sourdough starter for guests to make pancakes with. If you’re like us and prefer to stay connected with home while away, you might be interested to know that the WiFi is very quick. Washer & dryer was excellent for us, as well.

Wow. This was perfect for my daughter and I, and our trip to Denali. It was small but perfect for us. The photos do not do this property justice! The two beds were great sizes with good separation. We loved it!!

The Kings Deer Lodge was a beautiful log building, very accommodating and spacious, perfect for our large group. I also thought the rental price was very reasonable given the price of other hotels in the Denali area. Moreover, I think a winter holiday there would be fabulous.

Fantastic house surrounded by forest - wonderfully private but easy drive to all Denali area has to offer. Tastefully and thoughtfully laid out and decorated, spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable beds, even a free draft beer on arrival! Lovely sense of isolation in the evenings as you sit outside. Alex is a great host. One of our favourite Airbnbs.

I cannot recommend this place enough! The house was spacious, conveniently located and accurately described. The hosts were very kind and responsive. Would love to stay here again on my next visit to Denali

Location was very convenient to Denali National Park. Inside was very comfortable and clean. Very comfy bed and the blackout shades were perfect. Kamille offered a lot of suggestions for restaurants, and all that we tried were delicious. Loved staying at her place!

The space definitely had a few quirks, one was a weird high pitched sound (I played lullaby music to try and drown it out-and never felt the need to ask the host about it). There was noise from the road somewhat and the helicopters next door and someone else mentioned black out curtains needed but honestly I slept great!! The helicopters didn’t start early or go late, very light traffic later in the evening and we were so exhausted we slept easily with no black out curtains. The fact you are almost right across the street from the Denali NP entrance makes everything better : ) My little and I also walked into town from the Cabins which was nice. Valerie was super responsive and helpful. For sure would stay again!!

This is a bare bones stay, but an excellent choice! The location cannot be beat if you're visiting Denali National Park. Plus, the heat WORKS. You won't freeze here.

This is a great spot to base camp out of for exploring Denali! We pretty much only slept and showered here, but Jeff made sure we had coffee and snacks to start the day! Great basic cabin!

David's place was perfect for what we needed. Which was a place to stay while exploring the park. You need a car of course. But it was close to the restaurants in Healy and just a few miles down the road to Denali park. Lovely outdoor sitting area. Inside seating and dining table ...Comfy beds. Nice size bathrooms. perfect for 2 couples or a family. The kitchen had everything you need. I highly recommend this air band b.

The forager condo was perfect for exploring Denali national park, it was a 20 to 30 minute walk to the bus depot and 10 minutes walk to the business area. The balcony was the perfect place to sit and relax. The beds were comfortable and the little kitchen area was perfect for preparing lunches to take on our hikes. Two of our group went river rafting and had a great time. We would stay here again!

Our stay was great. It was very clean. And the location is close to the entrance of the park as well as restaurants.

We loved the stay in Cantwell!! It was close to Denali but far enough away to get away and enjoy some peace. Lots of space to get comfortable and has all the amenities that are needed to stay and cook at home.
