Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Delaware County

The host’s description of the property was very accurate. The property was as described and very clean. Short distance travel to our destinations which was a plus. The host made all communications simple and responded rather quickly. Will recommend to any who wishes to stay in a very clean, up to date, feel at home type of environment. Thank you and hope to stay there again in the near future.

We would definitely recommend Carol's lovely home. It worked out perfectly for us. We had everything we needed with clear instructions on getting in and around. Extremely clean and well kept. Location was great for us as well.

We had a great weeklong stay at this unique Airbnb in historic Manayunk. The location is excellent—close to shops, restaurants, and trails. The space is exactly as pictured: clean, well-kept, and in a very cool old mill building with lots of character. It was perfect for us and our two dogs. The dedicated parking spot is a nice bonus, though street parking was usually available nearby if needed. The neighborhood has some steep hills (classic Manayunk), so keep that in mind for dog walks—but overall, it was manageable and pleasant. Street noise wasn’t an issue for us, but there’s a noise machine provided just in case. We appreciated that thoughtful touch. We’re originally from the area and would definitely stay here again—comfortable, convenient, and true to its listing.

Great 3 night stay. Perfect for traveling with dogs. The fenced back yard is amazing. Very well stocked kitchen if you plan to eat in. Very clean and well maintained property.

Perfect Rental! Lovely Rustic finished-basement in a private home, in an upscale neighborhood on the Mainline. Huge Living Room, large Bar/Kitchenette area, large bedroom with ensuite bathroom; outside there are several different seating areas in the large/bucolic back yard. Retired couple from Florida rented Don's place for a week while helping our daughter, who was moving into an apartment in the area. The rental was exactly as described, and was perfect for our needs; I can't imagine having to spend a week in a cramped hotel room! After long days of packing and moving, we sat outside in the beautiful backyard and enjoyed a beverage.... and a cigar for me! The homeowner, Don, lives in the house..... but he is completely unobtrusive; he greeted us briefly upon our arrival, and all subsequent contact with him was initiated by us. He is a friendly, helpful guy..... and we will definitely stay with him again during our future visits with our daughter.

This place was amazing to stay at! We loved the huge kitchen and there was plenty of space for our family of five. Our kids had a great time running around the big backyard and we went on several walks around the local neighbourhood, which was very picturesque and peaceful. What a lovely place to visit!

We loved John and Tayla’s house. Great game room, jacuzzi & awesome for families! Definitely would stay there again.

We had a great stay at Malyka's place. She called to greet me and see if I had any needs prior to our arrival, the night before. She was responsive and very friendly. The apartment was comfortable, especially the beds. The shower had great flow and was wonderfully hot. Having the washer and dryer was a huge help. Please note though, there is a lack of electrical sockets in the living room for charging your phone or other electronics. We improvised and charged in the bedroom or bathroom. The neighborhood is walkable/bikeable with parks and playgrounds very close by. There is an abundance of options for food in the area as well. Give 'Tasties' a try for really great soul food. We would happily stay here again if in the Philly area.

Rose is a the super host of super hosts. She provides clear instructions from start to finish and really cares about the comfort of her guests. The apartment is spotless and in great shape. The neighborhood is peaceful and on a very quiet street away from traffic. This is our second stay, and we’ll be back again next year!

You could spend nearly $200 / night at a major commercial hotel in the area. And you'll get whatever else comes along in the form of noise from neighbors, heavy traffic, crime, etc. Or, you can spend about half of that to stay here and get all of the comfort and charm of a cozy apartment that is quiet and tucked away from all of the hustle and bustle of Upper Darby and Metro Philadelphia, yet still so close to the activity that you're never more than about 45 minutes away from the excitement of the city or other cool spots in Delco or the Tri State area. From a fully furnished kitchen, TVs, WiFi, washer & dryer, and more, you have all that you need to stay comfortably for a day or a month. And to make it better, you have your own parking spot, and the facility can accommodate a family. What's not to like? I'd stay here again!

This is my second time coming to stay at Ms. Chandra's place and as usual it was amazing. The place is always extremely clean and tidy I never have an issue. She always provides me with information about check in and check out. Which helps because then I don't have to go back to the listing and read check out instructions. Overall 100/10 experience and I'll be back again I guarantee it.

Sandra’s place is located in a lovely neighborhood and not too far from the city. The apt is clean & spacious. The beds are a lil springy but nothing so terrible as to deter me from staying again.

Very comfortable and great location. It was an easy walk to train station and lots of great restaurants nearby. Host was very friendly and helpful. Washer and drier and nice and big too!

Vincent's place was exactly as described, clean, and perfect for a quick trip to Philly! Vincent was flexible and easy to communicate with.

Check In: 3/9/25 The living space inside is very nice. It’s a studio apartment. It’s literally the perfect place to crash for a night or two. And at a great price, $96 for 3 guests, for 1 night. The room is on the 2nd floor of a daycare, so you’ll awaken to the sounds of kids ‘singing’ their morning songs. The place is located in the ‘hood’, so get your errands done before night. If you find a spot nearby to park your car, don’t move it or your space WILL be taken.

We had a great stay, Rui and Meng are really thoughtful and communicative hosts, and the flat has everything you need. incredibly comfy bed too! Thanks for a great stay in your beautiful home.

Great property for an active family on the road.

If you are looking for a good central location, that’s the perfect choice. The beautiful apartement is like a 5 star hotel. It looks very luxurious, the bed is very comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped, and the whole apartement is spotlessly clean. You can also find several parking options for a good price if you arrive by car. I will definitely book again if I’m visiting Philly.

Great place to stay, looks just like the photos, and is a great feel for the space. Water didn't get as hot as I would like but still gets to a nice temperature. If getting there later in the day, plan to look for parking as it is all street parking. Availability for parking was within a block or so, which was fine. Overall great night's stay!

We loved staying at Travis and Gabrielle's place. It was so well equipped and had everything we needed for a long stay. The house was beautiful and well stocked with linens and kitchen ware. We didn't get to enjoy the backyard because it was hot and rained several days but it looked beautiful through the window! 😊 We would definitely stay here again if we are in the area.

Nikhil was an outstanding host: Top-tier responsiveness; Great communication; Flexible; Proactive; Clearly very thoughtful in in so many of the choices taken in preparing a place for guests to feel comfortable and cared for like wireless chargers, diverse lighting, extra towels and toiletries. Really enjoyed the unique setup and will want to stay there again. Even parking was incredible: Free only 20 feet from the rear entryway. Free parking in any city is a real bonus! Thanks Nikhil for accommodating a great last-minute stay at your cool place!

Danni's place offered a relaxing stay for my family of four (including toddler & infant). Her responsiveness before & during the trip was greatly appreciated, as were her clear instructions & city guide. The home offers up multiple places to congregate after a day of touring the city -- the rooftop in particular was lovely even if the weather didn't cooperate. The kitchen was functional and came with a nice welcome basket that my children loved. I also really appreciated the baby items -- gates for the staircases, all outlets covered, toys, a crib, pack n' play, and baby bath. These amenities made it an easy decision to forgo a hotel and made our packing a bit easier too! Fairmount is a walkable neighborhood with plenty of food & coffee options, as well as on-street parking. Hope to visit again soon!
