Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Delaware Bay

The home and host were very welcoming to my small family . The books and toys in the home were a big help in keeping our 1 year old busy and entertained . The close walk to the bay provides nice views and the beach chairs and wagon available in the shed are a big plus and make beach trips more manageable for the little one. House was cute and cozy!

It was our first family experience in Cape May and we loved every bit of it! Heather made it super easy and clear to be able to come in, relax right away and make it our home for the stay. Heather was super responsive and more than helpful to our needs to make for an excellent trip. We love the area, the easy access to the beach and the hospitality provided. Can’t wait to come back next summer and enjoy!

It is a five (5) star hotel with fully equipped home away home Airbnb! We’ve been to different Airbnb’s around the world, experience at this beautiful Bridge Covered Cottage is one of our bests! We’ve enjoyed every minute of the staying/visiting in Lancaster PA. We appreciate your thoughtful hospitality. We had a great stay! The house was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. We especially loved the heated pool—it made a big difference. Bebe was a responsive and helpful host, quickly addressing any questions we had and even allowing us to install an app on the Fire Stick so we could stream from our devices. She also resolved a minor pool heat issue on the first day with no hassle. We’d definitely stay here again!

Our second time at Cassies and feels like home . Definitely will be back soon.

The venue, property and service made great memories. Our host went above and beyond to help and especially with a special request that only an exceptional person would do. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to another visit.

This is a beautiful home in a serene setting. Although there was plenty of boat traffic it was I. The distance and not noisy at all. The home is furnished simply but there are many more amenities than most airbnbs including children’s equipment and toys! The host readily honored a special request! The pictures are not clear about the water access. It is not a beach, but a stairway. We still spent much time at the water’s edge, and sitting in those great Adirondack chairs!!

Our stay was so calm and easy and peaceful. Elaine made our place cozy and fully accommodated with everything we could have needed. My husband particularly loved the location and the remote feeling of the home while still being close to the beaches.

The place is very comfortable, easy to get to, and convenient. About Paul: It's hard to find someone as humane as him these days. He's an honorable person. I recommend this place 100%.

We had a pleasant stay here for the weekend while we were visiting our kids during their summer camp break. It's a quiet neighborhood away from the beach chaos -- and a nice place for dog walking -- but it's still easy to get to pretty much anywhere.

Modern, beautifully decorated unit with great privacy. Views are amazing, so wide, expansive and peaceful. You can watch sunrise and sunset from the balcony! You can see people passing on the side street in their horse and buggies. The outdoor seats are very comfortable. The bed is comfortable too. Matt is a phenomenal host, his response time is super quick, he is very helpful and accommodating.

Had an amazing stay here! Bob and Beth were extremely responsive hosts and provided a lot of clear instructions on how to find the carriage house. It was very clean and spacious and had a great coffee set up. The surrounding gardens are so lovely! Was quiet and walkable to the local downtown area

We booked Erma's place for our birdwatching adventure. I had the master bedroom, which was large with comfy bed. My sister slept well on the futon in the second bedroom. Although she sometimes heard people walking around upstairs, their schedules aligned with ours, early to bed and early to rise. Then they were off to work and we went birding at the many wildlife refuges available. We cooked in the small kitchen, with plentiful supplies and condiments, and picked up groceries at Bylers and other nearby stores. The living room was large and comfortable. The large bathroom was conveniently off the living room. Since it was a little chilly with the ac on upstairs, we simply followed the instructions to close the vent and we were fine. Parking was convenient, and we sometimes hung out in the peaceful backyard, occasionally walking over to see the chickens. Erma responded promptly to any questions that I texted.

Windblown is such an amazing place! Deanna and Bill thought of every littlest detail. I relaxed in the lounge swing on the cover porch and watched the storm roll in over the bay Friday night. I took advantage of morning and evening walks on the beach. The sunsets are magical. Did some hiking in the area and ended the weekend on Cape May beach. Deanna and Bill are outstanding hosts! I really enjoyed my stay. Everything went smoothly with check in and check out and Margaret answered any questions I had promptly. There was one maintenance issue but it was resolved right away and did not interfere with my plans at all. The entire space was cozy and comfortable and I really enjoyed being able to take some walks in the neighborhood. It was a nice, quiet place to come back to after work and relax.

Tiffany communicated very well. Extremely clean and comfortable. Beautiful setting. My parents were very pleased with the accommodations. I would definitely consider another stay. Thank you Tiffany for the Beautiful experience.

Great responsive hosts. Really neat cabin and property. Like the short hiking trail and sitting on the screened in porch to enjoy the creek. Clean and cozy cabin. We had some rainy weather so wasn’t able to enjoy the firepit. Small brewery nearby. A dollar store for any forgotten items. Would stay here again.

Cannot give enough stars to this property and hosts!!! What’s a paradise on the Bay. The hosts ensured our stay was stress free, comfortable and that we knew all about the location. The property has some of the most comfortable beds we have ever slept on. Linens were high quality and the cabin is spotless! The extra little design features just made it FUN! We spent a lot of time on the deck, in the hot tub, and at the fire pit! The neighborhood is peaceful and the neighbors are so kind and welcoming! Don’t forget to hang out on the dock and definitely walk down to the beach! We will see this property again next year and cannot wait to book it!

A wonderful spot for a weekend getaway! Super clean, charming, and cozy. Peaceful nature and views yet not too far from town. As so many guests have mentioned, the winery next door is lovely and makes for a fun outing. The cabin has everything you need and more! Highly recommend!

Cute little place with plenty of natural light and beautiful flora and fawna to admire! Hosts were communicative and friendly. Would definitely recommend for folks looking for a small space for a trip--or those interested in the theme--host went all in! The road/drivewat really is steep, and we appreciated the forewarning.

Stayed here in 2019 and again this week. Beautiful as ever, quaint and clean. My only criticism is the lights in the yard were not working and there was not a bulb in the back porch light so it was pitch black at night which made the outdoor area not as enjoyable as it could’ve been at night. Otherwise our stay was great.

It’s our second stay at Camp Maier and we are already planning to come back. As soon as we step in, we feel calmed by the view and the comfortable space. The place has had a fresh coat of paint since we were here last, and we appreciated the kitchen upgrades too. We loved pizza at Cryptic Pizza in Solomons Island and a walk with dogs at Flag Ponds nature park. Even found a small fossilized shark tooth! A magical time. Thank you.

Walking into this cozy home felt like a step back in time, except we had all the amenities we needed. I loved soaking in the details of this historic structure with its emphasis on chicken decor. We also very much enjoyed driving the surrounding countryside with its extremely hilly roads winding through lush farmland. We rode the bike train nearby, took a ride on a train pulled by a steam engine, and walked some of the many walking/biking trails. All in all, The Coop was a lovely home in a serene setting with great outdoor activities available nearby if desired. We highly recommend a visit!
