Timber Rock Village is such a beautiful spot. So well done! We loved our stay at Stone Haven! It was beautiful, extremely clean, well stocked, and the beds were so comfy! It’s such a short walk down to the dock slip. The location is perfect for hiking Swallow Falls or hitting up all the best parts of Deep Creek. They were also extremely quick to respond if we needed anything! Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again or recommend it to anyone! Thanks again for sharing Stone Haven with us!

This stay was perfect for our group of 10! Everything was tidy and clean. I loved the hot tub and pool table. I really loved how each floor had many games. They all came in handy for our rainy weekend. We had pizza from Brenda’s that we were able to walk to. We grilled the next night, which the host kindly has propane available for use. The kitchen was fully stocked for all our cooking needs. The beds were comfy and there were many bathrooms that no one really had to share a bathroom. Lastly, the host and her cleaner was so kind to coordinate and bring us extra toilet paper and paper towels very quickly when I reached out. I would highly recommend this Airbnb and would stay here again.

This place was perfectly located—close to restaurants and activities, yet incredibly peaceful and private. The views were breathtaking! The kitchen was well-equipped for cooking, and the entire home was spotless with a clean, modern design. I highly recommend staying here!

We had to make an unexpected trip and were very fortunate to find this great place with only a one day notice. We had an issue with a room heater but Lisa responded to our message very quickly. The house was very clean and well stocked with linens and everything we could have wanted in the kitchen. We were there before the season so didn't take part in any of the lake activities, but it is a beautiful part of the country and was very convenient for visits to Oakland, Grantsville and other places where our family members live. We have stayed at several other Airbnb locations in the area and this is the best!

Had a wonderful stay at this spotless apartment with a lovely view of the confluence of rivers. The host was responsive and helpful. We felt at home with everything we needed, from the well-supplied kitchen to the comfortable living room, spacious dining room and luxurious bedroom suite with its own deck door. We had breakfast and coffee on the huge deck while enjoying ducks and boats on the water. Heard trains but slept fine. Being able to lock our bicycles in designated storage was a huge plus, as was the convenience of having bikes right outside the door for a beautiful ride on the treelined Great Allegheny Passage trail to OhioPyle in the state park 10 miles away. A fawn nibbled berries as we arrived for an incredible dinner at the Riversedge Cafe, a short walk from the apartment. The Confluence Convenience mart was open when we needed supplies on a Monday evening. And so glad we stopped at the nearby Tissue Farm for Chai, scone and art on our way out to Kentuck Knob - a must-see!

Staying here was an absolutely peaceful and relaxing experience. From the minute we arrived we felt more than at home, it was perfectly clean and felt very cozy. The extra touches of complimentary cinnamon swirl bread, popcorn and much more made for a very relaxing experience. It was great to spend some much needed time away hiking in some of the local parks. It was a cute little carriage house apartment. The jetted tub was nice, it had a coffee pot and blackout curtains. Though we didn’t use it, there were EV charging stations and worth noting. It’s about 5 miles from Oakland proper and 10 miles from the touristy part of Deep Creek, so close enough but far away enough. If you are looking for a place to get away with amazing views and to check out from the real world, this is the spot. Kam was responsive when we did message her. Definitely would recommend.

An absolutely beautiful location! I was able to watch the leaves change in fall while soaking in the deck hot tub. The studio apartment was perfect as my home away from home while on a travel nursing assignment. I had everything I needed. I was able to bring my roku and watch my TV shows while relaxing in the recliner chair. The shower is very roomy. I love that a washer and dryer was included. The only thing I wish it had was a toaster oven…but that is a luxury not a need. The stove, toaster, and microwave were perfect for my month stay. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking to “get away” or working in nearby by Oakland, MD. The host is wonderful and very responsive.

The Lucky Duck is a very calm and relaxing place to stay. We enjoyed the views and the local population of ducks and geese who welcomed us as we came and went. The place was spotless & spacious and had all the little things we needed for a great visit. Would highly recommend booking.

I had an outstanding stay at this Airbnb! This is my second stay and Diana’s home is exceptionally clean. It’s beautifully appointed with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Nestled in a peaceful natural setting near the river, it offered the perfect combination of seclusion and convenience. The large deck was a highlight—spacious, well-furnished, and equipped with grills, making it a great spot to unwind after a day of biking or exploring. The property is a short ride into town off the GAP bike path, which made it incredibly easy to get out and enjoy the surrounding scenery. Despite its quiet location, it’s just a short walk to a fantastic coffee shop (don’t miss the scones at the Tissue Farm !) and several excellent restaurants. This place truly offers the best of both worlds—tranquility and accessibility. I highly recommend it and would gladly return!

great deal great place 10/10 would stay again

We booked this place last minute for a snowboarding getaway for a rare Maryland powder day! This place is central, located less than 5 minutes from the ski resort and restauraunts in the area. The hot tub after a day on the slopes was a hit. Cozy, had everything we needed. We were plowed out and the walkway was shoveled for us. Low maintenance for visitors! We would definitely book again!
