This was exactly what my family and I needed. This place is so peaceful and beautiful. There is no cell service, but the wifi has a great signal if you want to stay connected! We came during a week that wasn’t crowded and basically had the place to ourselves. My husband and I enjoyed the hot tub and the home theater. Both were super clean and cozy! The hot tub and theater are public, but like I said, we came and went as we pleased due to it not being crowded. We also enjoyed fishing with our children and were offered kayaks for the whole family for a small fee. We didn’t use the kayaks but will definitely use them next time! The best part for our children was the Entertainment Center. Our kids are 5 and 6 years old and they had plenty to do. There are also games and activities for all ages!! I would recommend this place to anyone that wanted to getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and relax with their family. This is a perfect family place!! We will be staying again!

My family and I had a great stay! This is a very cool and very family friendly place complete with trails, kayaking, and a amazing entertainment center for the kids. We will stay here again when in the area!

Beautiful property and the pictures do not capture the views experienced in person! The home has lots of character, is comfortable, had everything we needed for our stay. Living room seating and beds were comfortable. We have a family of five with kids ages 10 to 17, came to the area to explore some attractions near and around Huntsville and Guntersville. Our family prefers a more quiet location and this property is a great option, about halfway between both areas. Shopping center with Walmart, Publix and many restaurants is only about 15 minutes away. The Space and Rocket Center was about 35 minutes away and it was about 20 minutes to Cathedral Caverns, Guntersville City Harbor and Lake Guntersville Sunset Beach. The owners were kind and quick to respond to questions and issues during our stay. The kids loved watching the cows in the field and the huge garage was great for play time. We even grilled hamburgers and made s’mores on the fire pit. Highly recommend!

Can not give this place enough stars…From initial booking inquiries until after check out, owners were prompt, beyond friendly, helpful, and informative. The place was perfect! Clean, spacious, comfortable, fun, and easily accommodated our entire family with room for more. They even left our favorite treats out for us upon arrival. Above and beyond truthfully. So much to do there…My husband never wanted to leave the putting green, my daughter was pumped about space to throw ball, the hot tub was a great end to the evening for me, and my mom had to be physically removed from the Pac Man game on the daily. Shoals Shack is right down the road and the food was perfection. We also enjoyed some ice cream at St. Florian Pharmacy. If you’re looking for anywhere to stay, and this finds you, you will have zero regrets for booking!

Daniel’s place was very cozy and clean. Stayed a couple of nights and enjoyed the space. He was very prompt with his responses, great host. I would definitely stay again.

We really enjoyed the peace and quiet. We needed a quiet place to relax and regroup and this was perfect. A little fishing, beautiful sunset, quiet morning on the porch and a great place for the dog as well. Would go again (from a 16 year old’s perspective). Thank you for a great place to stay.

Very peaceful place to stay! Stacy was so pleasant and very helpful. We just loved the atmosphere. Two restaurants just up the road and towns near to retrieve all needs.

It’s always amazing, beautiful and peaceful. The only thing that needs fixed it the road the pot hole is so bad. But I would recommend it to anyone.

Very beautiful cabin. Much larger than it seemed in the photos. Beds were very comfortable and we loved the private feel of the cabin tucked away off the main road. We also loved the fact that we could explore the entire property, although we were limited on time due a local event we were attending. We would love to come back to have more time to just enjoy the cabin and the property. David was very friendly, with great communication and even made us aware of grounds keepers being onsite to pull trash and other chores well in advance. Looking forward to staying here again.

Absolutely a great place to stay and get away from it all! All you need is food and your clothes... they have everything! Georgina made sure that I had the internet speed I needed to get my work done too! Definitely recommend to anyone looking to get away from the city and to the peaceful sounds of nature.

We were looking for a quick weekend getaway and Paulina's Lucky Lodge was the perfect accommodations for myself, my mother, aunt and 2 cousins. She welcomed our four legged family members as well! It was a home away from home for us as we explored the nearby falls and towns and of course Guntersville Lake/Tennessee River area. I could not ask for a better hostess who made sure we were taken care of. The cabin was pristine and a comfortable place for us to come back to after our adventures. We look forward to staying at Lucky Lodge again soon!

I booked this place for my husband and his buddies for a lil getaway. My husband told me right away how nice and clean the place was. Paul was also so kind to provide wood for the fire pit, the guys really enjoyed the place. It was conveniently close to the lake which they also preferred. Will book again for a fishing trip!

Travis place is a hidden gem. It is a rustic wood cabin outside like the ones showed on some movies but inside even though it keeps true to details it is also very comfortable and clean!! Wood is not the easiest but this place sure can show off on that. Also and besides the private setting, it is located within short driving distances to pretty much everything: The Cathedral Caverns, hiking trails with waterfalls, Incredible mountain and lake sunsets, great people from Alabama.. so much good in one place!!

Exceptional cabin exactly as described. Clean and roomy. Interior was very nice. Brianna was great. Maintained communication before and during stay to ensure all went okay. If your coming to fish… Only challenge was backing boat in driveway. Road going in is narrow and on a hill, so it’s hard to cut. Takes time with large boat 22’. Easy solution was to pull in and back out when leaving.

It was a nice little place for my wife and myself. Was fairly close to everything within a 20 minute drive or less. Right down the road from a boat launch and a great bait/tackle shop

My daughter, her best friend, and I take an annual weekend trip to relax, reconnect, and catch up. We've been doing this for several years and have stayed at a variety of places—but this home, which we've now visited twice, is by far our favorite. The location is perfect, the home itself is beautiful and well-kept, and Christian is incredibly responsive and easy to communicate with. The beds are, hands down, the most comfortable we've experienced on any of our trips! We love the privacy this property offers, along with the peaceful setting, the awesome pier, and the fire pit—perfect for evenings spent chatting and unwinding. If you're up for a short drive, downtown Athens is just 20 minutes away and offers charming southern shopping and great dining options. We're confident this home will become our go-to spot for this special trip for many years to come. Highly recommend!

Very nice place, we would rent again. Lockbox was hard to operate. Loved the in the forest upscale house. Very peaceful and relaxing.
