Zouthuis near Amsterdam and Schiphol

Mariken responded quickly to all inquiries in advance. The house is small but very nice and you can also enjoy sitting outside. The kitchen contains all the amenities you could need, even a fully automatic coffee machine. We were looking for a house where we could meet another family for dinner. It was ideal for this, as there is enough space outside and inside. We did not find the aircraft noise very disturbing. We had a lovely weekend.

The Flower Studio

JoahRating, 5 stars1 day ago
Karin’s place outside of Amsterdam was a lovely stay. It is more out in the countryside so travel to the city requires a 20 minute walk, a 15 minute bus ride, and a 15-20 minute train ride, but it was very easy to navigate. The area is beautiful and quiet. Karin’s place is very spacious, clean, cozy, and well equipped for anything you might need. Checking in was easy and we were even welcomed with a fresh pastry and a glass of white wine. Karin’s communication is excellent and I rarely waited more than a few minutes for a response. Everything is clearly laid out on a booklet inside the place that includes restaurant recommendations and transportation information for getting around the area. The place is very comfortable and the private deck in the backyard is a nice touch. The town that is a 20 minute walk away was well equipped with a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants. I highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting the area and want a more quiet stay outside of the busy city.
A modern wood-burning stove is positioned on a sleek black base, with a glass front displaying the firewood inside. A towering wood rack stands beside it, filled with neatly stacked logs, creating a functional and organized space.

Well-appointed home with good furniture and a modern bathroom with shower, tub and double washbasins. House is bigger then you would expect from the outside, and has a good-sized backgarden.
Tall grasses and rocky shoreline are seen along the water's edge, reflecting the soft hues of the early evening sky. The scene captures a serene natural environment, inviting peaceful contemplation by the water.

Retro caravan on the Amstel ZH

Min-YiRating, 5 stars1 week ago
Cynthia and her husband are very nice people. We had a wonderful Caravan experience. Cooking and storing food was fun and not a problem. Toilet and shower are in a separate house behind th caravan which means that it is separate from your living area. We personally preferred it this way. Even going to toilet during the night I did not mind at all. Also Cynthia told us to leave the dirty dishes on the table outside when we left, so she put it in her private dishwasher. This was super convinient for us and was very nice of her. - Which we and other guests should not take for granted. :) The location is a little in the nowhere which we enjoyed. It is very beautiful around. By car you are quickly at the sea or at different cities. We fully recommend the stay and would like to come back another time when we are nearby. Thanks so much for your hospitality! PS: Even the cat was super welcoming and loves to cuttle with the guests. :)

Tiny-Farm cottage (expat ready)

CynthiaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was a cozy home away from home. From the beginning, I was made to feel welcome, but also had my own space and privacy. The hosts were always quick to respond to any questions I had. The studio is clean and nicely furnished with all you need to relax, plan your outings and cook some healthy meals. I would say the space was larger than I imagined from the photos. I appreciated the farm fresh eggs, and helpful tips on places to explore and enjoy in the area. The wi-fi was fast and I used the TV to research via YouTube the towns I planned to visit. The location would make a great remote work site as well. Protected bike lanes and paths cross-cross the area making it easy and safe to bike to many nearby towns and cities. The backyard, which visitors have access to, looks out onto open space, horses, and farmland. Great blue herons, swans, ducks, magpies, geese and bunny rabbits roam the fields. Magical.
A charming thatched-roof farmhouse is surrounded by lush greenery and a serene pond filled with lily pads. Outdoor seating areas are visible, and the building features large windows that enhance the natural light. The tranquil setting is ideal for relaxation.

Kamerik, lovely 'Sleeping on an Island'

This is a very nice place located in the middle of the polders. Very comfortable, well arranged, great location for visiting the entire southern part of Amsterdam, this cottage is a little paradise. For cycling enthusiasts, this is a starting point for very nice rides in a quality rural environment. I recommend it without restriction.
