This spot is convenient to get to and so close to beautiful views and walks next to the Yellowstone River. Ashlie communicated clearly, provided a warm and welcoming space that is very comfortable. I would definitely return in the future!

Riverview House

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Riverview House. The house was actually more spacious than we thought it would be from the listing, and the view of the Yellowstone is beautiful. Jolene was a great host, and was very quick to answer my questions and make sure things were safely set up for us, as we were traveling with an infant. I will definitely seek out this again if we ever head to Glendive again. Also (talking to you, fellow Western Montanans), Glendive, Makoshika State Park and Teddy Roosevelt National Park are absolutely worth traveling East for!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This home is a 100 yrs old & has been a labor of love. It has countless dents, dings, squeaks & flaws but it is cozy & so much better than a hotel room. Glendive offers dinosaur adventures, agate & arrowhead hunting, Yellowstone River & Makoshika State Park. This is not a resort property so please know renovations are still underway (hence the price discount). We hope you will come to rest, rejuvenate, slow down & enjoy the big sky!

Roger was a very gracious and kind host. The place is nice and clean. It is “small” like in the pictures. So a single person or a couple would be maximum. But it was nice and worked out very well for me by myself.

A compact bathroom features a white sink and a matching toilet. A shower stall is enclosed by a curtain displaying a large silhouette of an elk against a natural backdrop. Shelves hold neatly rolled towels and toiletries, while soft lighting illuminates the space.
