I took my girlfriend to Mateo’s place for our anniversary, and my expectations were far surpassed. The surrounding nature and town was so charming and beautiful, it made me want to stay for much longer than we did. Mateo was incredibly helpful and responsive. At one point our power went out and Mateo was fast at making sure our power was back on and that we were comfortable. He also checked in and followed through with any requests we had. The room was cozy, comfortable, and was great to come back to at night after exploring all day. I definitely would come back and stay again, thank you so much!!!!

Amazing Coastal Beach House!!! Entire Home Rental!

We loved staying in Davenport! House was great for our needs and we loved the spacious deck! Super clean house and enjoyed amenities like laundry, easy parking/checkin, and ample space/bedrooms. Relaxed beach house vibe, nothing fancy but a great spot in an adorable little town. As other reviewers mention, don’t miss out on the bakery or spending a day or more at the local beach. We had the beach mostly to ourselves each time we visited and loved tide pooling and the perfect sand and views. The walk to beach is a bit steep and rocky so keep in mind for those with any mobility concerns. Our kids, 5 and 2.5 did just fine with hand holding but something to keep in mind. Kitchen could use some extras such as cooking oil and newer/non-scuffed pans but we were able to easily cook and prep food for our family.

Anne’s cottage on the beach was absolutely wonderful! It’s such a special place—my family and I had a peaceful, relaxing stay. The views of the ocean are beautiful, and the beach is just steps away. We also loved having a few local restaurants within walking distance. Anne was the sweetest host—so kind, responsive, and attentive. She made sure we were well taken care of throughout our stay. The house was spotless, and the bed was very comfortable. We truly hope to stay here again someday.

Ultimate GLAMPING!!! My wife and I came from Napa for our daughter's graduation from UCSC and stayed for 3 nights in Bethany's amazing tree house. Wise move!! Too many great details to cover but here are a few reasons it was one of the coolest Airbnb experiences ever: * Location: You are gazing out over a redwood forest from the deck so you feel like you're out in nature except you have tons of amenities like... *The kitchen: Everything you need - frig, grill/griddle, sink, knives and silverware, spices *Pavilion style tent: Heavy duty tent which can be closed with velcro to block out any wind so you will sleep soundly in a cozy bedroom *Gas firepit: Great for cool mornings/evenings. Our graduate came up for one night and had a great time hanging out around the flames up in the redwoods. *Hammock: Who doesn't need to relax in a hammock in a shady forest? Therapeutic. Bethany was responsive to questions and requests and couldn't have been a better host. 5 stars all the way!

We had a great stay. The place was really comfortable and super cute. It felt like a little cottage. It is attached to the larger house, but completely private and very quiet. The location is excellent- we enjoyed walks from the place every day, especially one recommended by John when we checked in. We would definitely stay here again!

This was a great getaway in a beautiful countryside. If you're looking for something somewhat off-the-grid, I would wholeheartedly recommend this memorable little dome. Waking up to see and hear all the birds in the morning was lovely.

Immaculate accommodations, great location. A five minute walk to Natural Bridges. Quiet, well kept neighborhood. Comfy beds (my son used the sofa bed which was queen size and firm), fresh linens/towels, well stocked kitchen with snacks upon arrival which was very nice. Beach chairs and beach umbrella came in handy, too. Hope to stay again! Thanks for your hospitality, Kim!
