The apartment is in Daun, OT Pützborn, in a quiet location. The footpath to Daun goes uphill. In the village is the Wild-u. adventure park and REWE (open until 10 pm). The Volcanic Eifel, known for its maars, has many beautiful hiking and cycling trails. The Eifelsteig is nearby. The Kosmosradweg [bike path] provides easy access to the Maare-Mosel bike path. The Nürburgring and all sights can be reached by car. Daun-Senheld Airport offers sightseeing flights over the maars, the Mosel or the Nürburgring.

Vacation home at Hunert

The ideal base camp for all the activities in the Volcanic Eifel. From here you have direct access to many hiking trails such as the Eifelsteig and the Lieserpfad. Through the adjacent forest Hunert up to the Ernstberg, with 699 m the highest mountain of the Volcanic Eifel. The Maare Mosel bike path starts just a stone's throw away. By motorbike or car in about 25 minutes to the Nürburgring. The city center with its many restaurants, cafes and shops can be reached on foot in about 5 minutes.

Our beautiful apartment (70 square meters) is quietly and idyllically located near the forest. To enjoy the picturesque Volcanic Eifel, hiking on the Eifelsteig (stages 7-8), the Krimi hiking trail, the rock and Celtic path and in the Lampertstal. The bike path network is right next to our house. You can rent bikes from us for a small fee. An 18-hole golf course is 3 km away. For swimming, there are: Freilinger & Kronenburger See, Freibad Gerolstein or the Maare.
