Just a short 15-minute walk to Sydney's CBD and a 7-minute walk to Kings Cross Station. The famous Opera House is only 30mins scroll away. Some of Sydney's major attractions such as Darling harbour, Harbour Bridge, The Rocks, Bondi beach, Sydney Fish Market, Rushcutters bay, Wooloomooloo Harbourside, Barangaroo Waterfront and Manly are easily accessible. Public transportations (includes trains, buses, light rail and ferries), Taxis, Uber, GoGet and car rentals are readily available in the immediate vicinity. I highly recommend grabbing an Opal card for all Sydney Public Transportations as it will save you time and money (pick up at any train station counter or kiosk with the opal flag, free of charge just requires minimum $10 top up). ** Please note, parking is NOT provided, and I do not recommend renting a car as Sydney central is limited and parking fees are absurdly high. However, if you require parking, there is paid street parking as well as paid parking near by, from AU$50 per day (both options subject to availability) which you will need to arrange yourself. There are limited free street - parking available after 10pm and before 8am. I highly recommend using public trains/buses/ferry to get around, however, Uber/ Taxify, taxis and GoGet are other options (for Uber use promo: uberTinan37 for first timers and save $5 or for Taxify: HX47Q and you can save $10 on your first ride). You will be required to download the app and register first. *** Please book under your own Airbnb account - will not accept reservations on behalf of others.*** * Smoking is prohibited in the apartment & building. Situated in one of the most cosmopolitan neighbourhoods in Australia, it is a vibrant inner-urban community with grand old Art Deco buildings and harbour-side parks. It's walking distance to the city through the Botanic Gardens. Our home is well designed, comfortable, clean, secure and fully equipped with everything you will need. Welcome to our gorgeous apartment in the heart of Sydney's most stylish neighbourhood, Elizabeth Bay/Rushcutters Bay. The apartment is located on the entry level of a secure building, faces north with tranquil garden views. Although very central the apartment is located in a quiet, leafy street. The studio is fashionably decorated and is styled with captivating and dynamic contemporary Australian Indigenous art. Our apartment comfortably fits two people with a real (and comfortable) queen size bed, but can easily accommodate a 3rd guest on the large sofa. On arrival please make yourself at home. I have left a tray with essentials bread, milk, etc or there is a bottle of Australian wine in the fridge. Designed and equipped for Airbnb visitors, the apartment is surrounded by walking streets, shopping, cafes and restaurants in an attractive village style area. The weekend markets are full of organic produce, quirky street shopping & more great coffee! Metro buses & trains are only minutes away, although it's only a short walk to the city and surrounds. The apartment is 5 minutes walk to harbour side, Beare and Rushcutters Bay parks, tennis courts and marina. It is 5 - 15 minutes walk to galleries, and the retail and restaurant precincts of Darlinghurst, Surry Hills, Woolloomooloo and Potts Point. We provide a computer/internet/wi fi/television for use, plus a few notable books and guides that will introduce you to Australian/Sydney life and culture. The kitchen has ample cooking utensils, crockery, cutlery, oven, microwave, large fridge, dishwasher and essential foodstuffs for your visit. Towels and fresh linen are provided and the bathroom is stocked with a variety of toiletries and many handy items to enhance your visit if you should need them. The bathroom includes a washing machine/dryer & hairdryer and powerpoint in the cupboard. There is a very long full length mirror in the hallway. The apartment is comfortable, well appointed, clean and safe. There is also a roof top garden area for views of surrounding regions and embodies an outdoor, more casual roof-top garden atmosphere. You will have the entire apartment to yourselves. We will try to meet you as you arrive to give the grande tour plus leave you the keys. However, my busy academic schedule precludes being available all of the time. I visit the Western Desert regularly. Details will be provided at time of booking. There is one set of keys, two keys to the set. Please leave the keys on the kitchen bench when you leave. We will always be available via phone or email (even when we are outside of Sydney metro region). In the event of an emergency, you will find a list of contact details in the house manual. Walk just about everywhere. I prefer to walk everywhere - is the perfect place to start exploring what the city has to offer. Transport options are abundant. Bus stop is located 2 mins from the apartment. Kings cross train station is a short 5min stroll from the studio and there is abundance of taxis around. Plenty of choices! Although designed for the comfort of Airbnb visitors, the small studio apartment is also treated as our home away from home. As my daughter (in New York) and myself (Hawkesbury region on the outskirts of Sydney) frequently stay in Sydney, we have endeavoured to make the space as comfortable and stylish as possible for our stopovers and short breaks. Huge Designer Studio Next to Lovely Park

Escape to this meticulously curated lifestyle apartment. The home features an open-plan layout, an all-white color scheme, dabs of blue, original period details, contemporary furnishings and decor, an an urban chic aesthetic. (Please note we take sanitizing extremely seriously and to ensure we never have any contamination due to COVID-19. We use hospital grade disinfectant on all surfaces before any guests arrive we have our own professional cleaners to ensure a safe environment ) The apartment is ground floor with no stairs. The building is a security building and also in a very safe neighbourhood. The guests have full private access to the apartment, it's set up as a serviced apartment and guests staying over 7 days will receive weekly cleaning and linen change. All linen is Hotel grade and high quality. There is also a coin operated laundry at the rear of the building. I live nearby and our office is down the street but unless you need to see me I won't be there to meet you. We have after hours check in and security in the building North Sydney is a fantastic neighbourhood. it's just across the bridge from the CBD but is more residential. There are plenty of cafes, restaurants, and supermarkets in the area. Nearby there is also Sydney's famous Harbourside amusement park. The bus to the city is about 2 minutes walk from the apartment, there is also North Sydney train station about 10 minutes walk (note its uphill from the station). If you want to take an uber it's less than 5 minutes to the middle of the city. Also if you wanted to walk it's about 45 minutes to walk across the bridge. North Sydney itself has everything you need from shopping to Supermarkets and many dozens of food options The parking is for one standard car or suv. It’s down the end of a narrow driveway. Which is tight. (The driveway is on the left side of the building ) The space is on the right at the end of the drive. (Note there are 2 car spaces so you need to leave space for the second car). It is uncovered. But it is off-street and the car can be left for the duration of your stay until check out. But not after check out time. And it’s not guaranteed to be available until check in time.

Excellent bus connection to CBD which takes about 15 mins and goes past Central Railway Station. Alternatively, a short walk to the light rail which services Darling Harbour, Chinatown and ends up at Central Railway Station. There is a convenience store, Japanese restaurant and cafe, less than 50m walk from the lift. The convenience store supplies Opal Cards (the Sydney transport card for bus, train, light rail and ferry).
