There are often deer, moose and hare to see and lots of fish in the water. In the forest there are both blueberries and mushrooms. In winter, there are opportunities for ice fishing and a large tiled stove that provides a warm warmth. In winter, you have to fire wood from a central stove in the basement that provides good heat in the house.

Bråtnäs is a small "village" in northwestern Dalsland with both permanent residents and summer guests. The house Slängom is a cozy family house close to the forest, fishing and swimming. The house has its own plot with a lawn, patio, and a small arbor. The area around the house is open and situated in a sunny location. The house has access to its own boat dock where you can fish and swim. At the dock, there are rowboats and canoes available for use from May to September.
