Our B&B will be completely renovated in early 2025. The cozy space is very suitable for romantic peace seekers. You will be staying in a quiet place, surrounded by plenty of greenery, close to the center of beautiful Gorinchem. Our location is a good base for beautiful bike rides and walks. Apartment in the fortress

The old fortress of beautiful Gorinchem is a wonderful place to stay overnight. You have the ground floor with bedroom and bathroom, all to yourself, with a private entrance. I live upstairs myself. From the apartment, you can walk into the city for a bite or a drink. You can also step ashore for a tour of the fortress and it is a nice starting point for all kinds of activities in the region. Let yourself be surprised! Bed linen, towels and bath and shower supplies are provided. Just like coffee and tea.

Hay barn with charm in a traditional Dutch landscape

Along meadows with knot willows, you drive into a cozy village. At the church, you turn into a dead-end road. Soon you will reach a black cottage surrounded by greenery; our guest house "De Hooischuur". As soon as you enter the detached cottage, it immediately feels like coming home. Unique townhouse in the fortress, part of the Dutch Waterline and Unesco heritage. Close to Loevestein Castle, Gorinchem, and Fort Vuren. Originally built in 1778 as a fortified farmhouse and completely rebuilt as a mayor's house around 1980. Open plan living room with mezzanine and fireplace.
