The house was great! I stayed for an entire month in a private room, and I’m so happy that I chose to stay there. It's extremely well kept, very clean, large, and was perfect for my stay. Appliances all worked well, and the furniture very contemporary and comfortable. The house is located directly in front of the ocean. My private room in the house had a nice private patio area where you can see the ocean and nearby restaurants; which I enjoyed very much. Everyone in the area was very welcoming. The grocery stores and restaurants are within walking distance. The host was kind and incredible, very prompt in answering any questions I had. The house was clean upon my arrival, and cleaned during my stay (very thoughtful), I had laundry done and food prepared for a small fee. I felt very safe in the house, which was something especially important for me traveling abroad alone. I highly recommend this beach house for anyone traveling to Dakar. Sending a special thanks to my new Dakar family and home. 💚💛❤️

We were very happy with our stay with Sylvie and Max. The place was lovely and spacious and the rooftop terrace is great. The kittens they had were an added bonus. Max and Sylvie were super friendly and helpful; communication was easy. We would definitely stay here again!

Loman’s house is a very eclectic and peaceful oasis in the middle of bustling Dakar. The property itself is an art exhibit with sculptures all around and a really brilliant roof top. Loman was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the art scene in Dakar. We were there for the biennale and her insights really added to the overall experience of art in the city. Waking up to the sounds of birds chirping, seeing the tortoise mill about as we had breakfast and the lovely breakfast were some of the highlights of our stay. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay with our family. The house is even more breathtaking in real life. The house is clean and very well-equipped. Ousmane, the caretaker was exceptional. He made our stay pleasant and was very attentive from beginning to end. Aminata was also available and flexible. We'll be happy to go back and would recommend this listing.
