Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Currituck County

We loved staying at Brian’s place! My teenage boys loved having the kayaks, paddle boat, and fishing poles. The beds were very comfortable, there were several games for the family to play, a well appointed kitchen, and lots of seating. It was at least a 30-60 min drive to find a beach and activities, but I enjoyed the laid back neighborhood.

This home was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! The location couldn’t have been better, just steps from the beach, which made it so easy for our group to enjoy the ocean any time of day. The views were simply stunning and created such a relaxing atmosphere throughout our stay. There was plenty of space for our large group to spread out comfortably, and everything was spotless and very well-maintained. You can tell the home is cared for with a lot of attention to detail. We’re already looking forward to coming back again!

Earlier this month my family and I vacationed in the Outer Banks, staying at this home … and it was a treat. The home was a nice size and met all our needs as well as short drive to the beach with public access parking nearby. The house itself was well maintained and very clean. Our hosts were quick to respond to our messages and very helpful before and during our stay. The saltwater pool and hot tub were definite plusses. The living area is decorated nicely and has ample seating for our family and the bedrooms were good size and welcoming. The nook at the top of the stairs was wonderful to read a book and relax in. They had games stored for rainy days as well. Another plus to the house was its location as it’s only a five minute drive to the nearby Food Lion and Timbuck II which has good restaurants and shopping as well as a local seafood market which is great. This house checked all the boxes and we highly recommend it both for the house and its hosts.

We had a great time! The house was perfect. Clean, plenty of space, and just a gorgeous area. Our host Melina was always available to answer any of our questions and was always friendly. We would 100% come back.

Dana takes great pride in their place and wants you to feel at home there. Communication is great and you don't have those third party hosts to deal with. What Airbnb used to be about when it first started out. Dana had so much to use, paddle boards and paddle boats but I was alone and afraid to use them.. lol. Great view from all windows. Everything you need in the kitchen. Great place to slow down from life and take a breather. Of which I needed.

This is the perfect place for a family vacation. Very short walk to the beach (5-10 minutes) with a good bit of shade. Biking/longer walking distance to the Corolla lighthouse and Whalehead home. The backyard is pretty private and we never heard much sound from the neighboring homes. It looks exactly like the listing and has all the listed amenities. Would love to stay here again!

Not only is Heather & Drew’s place perfect for couples, solo travelers, small families, or a few friends - but it is GORGEOUS. It’s so clean, the neighborhood is quiet and tucked away but close enough to everything that it doesn’t feel like a hassle to get anywhere, and it’s got almost anything you might need. Truly a space where you can decompress. We can’t wait to visit again!

Absolutely loved this beach house — it was everything we hoped for and more. Spotless and well-kept, with plenty of space, including extra rooms that came in handy. The walk to the beach was quick and easy, making it perfect for spontaneous trips to the shore. The house had everything we needed, from kitchen supplies to beach gear, which made the stay super convenient. The hot tub and pool were a major highlight — clean, relaxing, and just what we needed after a day out. And the best surprise? Just a two-minute drive down the street, we got to see wild horses for free. Make sure you guys have an all wheel drive car to see the horses! It felt like a hidden gem. This place is 100% worth it. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

This is the lovely place to enjoy downtown Elizabeth City. Walkable to bunch of great restaurants, coffee shops, and stores. The place was in perfect condition and I loved how it was decorated and furnished.

The condo was spotless and clean when we arrived, and we had a fantastic view of sunsets from the dock! The beds were insanely comfortable and the kitchen was stocked with just about everything. We didn’t want to wait in lines at restaurants so we cooked in the condo for the most part. We enjoyed traveling into Duck for souvenir shopping, and when we went to the beach most of the time we packed our truck and headed to the 4x4 beach for the day. The items in the garage were also nice to have! There were three bikes, fishing gear, beach chairs and umbrellas, and a gas grill!

I’d give it “Three C’s”: Clean, Cute, Cozy. Attention to detail & pet friendly, the enclosed space protects the dogs until you’re ready to leave the gated enclosure. Oh, the welcome basket is delightful, healthy snacks & wine; which soothes the weary travelers. The kitchen rack for drying dishes is creative & sanitary-great idea! Good location for overnight accommodations. I’d recommend Anne’s place!

We had such a great visit staying with Kristy! It was like staying with a family friend- she was so flexible with our late check-in, she was welcoming and accommodating. She had great recommendations for places to check out and even offered us beach extras like umbrellas, blankets, surfboards, and more. She made us feel right at home from the minute we arrived! The place is exactly as described. Even though it’s attached to her home, the apartment is completely separate with its own entrance. You get a full size fridge, basic kitchen amenities, a comfy bed and even an extra trundle bed which is new! It was less than a 3 min drive to the beach which was so convenient, and surrounded by fun shops, restaurants, coffee shops, and grocery stores. We would definitely return!

We had to attend a funeral in Elizabeth City, so this was a last minute booking. I will say that Mechelle’s place the perfect place to wind down after attending the services. Lovely decor and comfortable space. The flat was within walking distance of coffee shops and restaurants. We didn’t get to all of Mechelle’s recommendations. Will always book when in Elizabeth City. Mechelle was responsive and amazing to work with. Will say it again will book this space every time we are there. Top Notch.

This was a last minute find for myself, my husband, our 2 kids and our pup and it was so conveniently located to everything we needed. The price was perfect, the location was great, the host was more than kind and so helpful and easy to work with. The place was clean. We felt safe. We have zero complaints and we would stay here again without question. Our internet went out temporarily (no fault of the host) and the host was so quick to respond in helping with the issue resolution. Definitely deserves 5 stars! Thank you Anastasia!

Mechelle's place is excellent. She was very responsive during the check-in period and quickly followed up to a couple of my questions once I arrived. The house is extremely well maintained with loads of convenient and thoughtful amenities. Its location is perfect to the Elizabeth City waterfront and shops. I'd highly recommend it for your stay in the area.
