Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Cumberland County

Anne and Chad are fantastic hosts. The B&B is an awesome place with so much history and charm. Its spacious rooms and large backyard offer all the opportunities you could want. The kitchen was completely stocked with all necessary items and the prepared food that was waiting for us was delicious and generous. A perfect place for families with all ages. And no better places for family dogs.

We were in the area for a FORD car show in Carlisle and the location was great. Very peaceful. Be sure to check out the King's Bakery there nearby.

Great space for 2 families with kids. We didn’t realize how lovely was the garden until we got there. The stream of water was a real perk! The double bunk bed for the kids was a great set-up but squeaky and unstable, not suitable for adults. Overall a great stay!

This home was gorgeous! Super clean everything. Kitchen was well stocked with everything to make a meal. Bedrooms we clean. Beds and bedding were SUPER comfy. Plenty of towels and linens. Even though my children were not with me on this trip as a mom I appreciated little things for small children like a stool in the bathroom, and a booster seat for the table etc…. We had a small personal emergency (not Airbnb related) and Mark was incredibly understanding and worked with us to help us get through it. He was a lifesaver! I cannot say enough positive things about this Airbnb. We plan to book again for sure!!

Stunning house & property! The pictures do it no justice. House was clean & comfortable, and grounds were beyond words! Hosts were very responsive. We had a busy schedule while there, and couldn't enjoy most of the amenities inside and outside of the home, but would love to visit for much longer next time. I could stay here for 2 weeks, on the property, and not get tired of it. Great location, as well. It was very private and tranquil, but within 20 minutes of any type of restaurant or store, big or small. We had an amazing stay! Thank you!

Hannah's place was wonderful for our family, as we had a graduation to attend nearby. The neighborhood was very quiet and while there was limited parking in front of the rental, it was an easy walk to alternative parking. Everything was very clean inside and while we like old historic buildings, Hannah had done a great job of incorporating new to make it as comfortable as possible. An added benefit is the outside courtyard, which was perfect for a small family gathering. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling in or around the Harrisburg area!

From the start, Jordan was an excellent host—clear instructions, incredibly fast and responsive communication, and made everything seamless. The view from the property was absolutely stunning—honestly even better than the photos! The space itself was large and welcoming, with super comfy couches and spacious rooms with big, comfortable beds. The kitchen was a standout: beautiful, fully stocked with dishes, cups, coffee, and even a smart fridge. We especially loved the wireless chargers around the house—such a thoughtful touch. The dock was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the surroundings, and waking up here was truly a treat. Highly recommend this place and would definitely stay again!

Jazmin's place is just as she described. very clean, quiet and private! place was perfect for our stay for a family wedding 5 min from the venue. she was very responsive and helpful with questions about checking in early. she also msged to make sure we made it in ok! beautiful place! if we ever come back to the area we will prob look to see if her place is available!!

My wife and I go on long weekend getaways periodically. We wanted to explore the Harrisburg Pa area. This wonderful Airbnb stood out. Milestone was wonderful. Close to many sites and visit worhty places. Also easy access to interstate for quick trips to Harrisburg International Airport, Hershey Pa, etc. The site and lodging were wonderful! Easy to find, plenty private parking and a code access. The suite was beautiful with all needs and details thought of ahead. We had the Howe suite which included a nice tub for soaking! The bed was very relaxing. A kcup machine with supplies. A frigerature if needed. The property included other offerings a wonderful soothing hot tub! It is river front with a beautiful view especially evening sunsets. We had easy access to - City walking trail - visiting diners and Irish pubs through out the area - Hershey Park for a visit and a show - Harrisburg International Airport for a Blue Angels show many other near by visiting sites

The stay was a wonderful experience. The location by the riverside in Harrisburg was peaceful and scenic, perfect for a relaxing getaway. The place was clean, well-maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. Christopher is responsive and thoughtful, making check-in easy. I’d definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking to enjoy a stay with beautiful surroundings and fun places to go to near by.

We had a great stay at Don's! It was very comfortable, the immediate neighborhood was delightful to walk around with our dog. Carlisle is a really neat place we happened to stop in and we're so glad we did! We would come back and check out more stuff here for sure. Thanks for the great hospitality!

This space was gorgeous, inside and out! The host was responsive and, when we had a minor issue with the lock box, they not only resolved it with excellent customer service but also went above and beyond to make sure we felt supported. The only downside was an "old house" noise that was fairly persistent. A strong hum came from a vent most of the time we were there, but was even louder when the heat kicked on, and it did wake me up at least once. I'm quite sensory sensitive to sound. So, if you have a hard time relaxing with high pitched hums, it might be best to try a different room (we were in the Meigs). The hot tub, beautiful grounds, gorgeous river view from our window, elegant decor, and thoughtful instructions from the host, however, mean we will definitely be back (but maybe in a different suite, or if the hum is resolved in the future, that suite). Highly, highly recommend!

This is one of the most beautiful, comfortable, and peaceful AIrBnBs I have stayed at! Everything was luxurious, spotless, and made for comfort from the furniture, the linens, the jacuzzi, everything. If I was a millionaire, this is exactly what my bedroom would look like. It was inspirational and waking in the morning to the views of the river and the tweeting of the birds was perfect.

Blackberry Retreat suited our needs well. We wanted someplace close to our family who live in Dover. The furnishings were comfortable, including a recliner love seat and TV in the living room, 2 person table/chairs for meals, well-equipped kitchen with Keurig and selection of pods to use. Bedroom has a very comfortable queen adjustable bed. Bathroom is small but tidy, and includes a closet with laundry and supplies. The area is very quiet and private. Be aware that when you turn into the driveway, you have to drive back a couple hundred feet to the house. It’s not right on the street. Lona was great to work with — answered questions when we booked, and quickly responsive during our stay. We’ll stay here again when we’re in the area.

The cabin was spacious and well-kept with modern amenities. Well stocked with everything we forgot to bring. Beautiful outdoor space. We had an outdoor fire at night and sat on the porch in the sun in the morning. Located close to the hike and mountain biking we had plan. We will definitely go back and found the peace and quiet we were looking for.

We loved our stay here and will definitely stay again if in the area! The cabin is so comfortable and had all we needed. Enjoying morning coffee on the front porch swing was the best, so peaceful.

We had a great stay at the ‘Cactus Cabin’. Very clean, has everything you need. Host was very friendly and communicative. Area is quiet and peaceful. Location is very close to the Carlisle fairgrounds.

We LOVED staying at the Good To Be Here cabin for a girl's long weekend! Arrival was easy, house was clean and instructions were clear. The kitchen was stocked full of everything you will need. We already booked our fall trip here again! Highly recommend!

Nice cabin for a family getaway. Although not modern, it was decorated like a Cracker Barrel, which is homey for most people. Lots of space, and had plenty of games .

I grew up spending a lot of time in Michaux State Forest- so we chose this house for a family celebration. Our trip coincided with, what I assume to be, the first mountain fires in the area! Kim and Tim were incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the entire process. I trusted them completely and wasn't disappointed. The house is beautiful and everything we needed it to be. Lots of good space for gathering, indoors and out, comfortable seating and bedding. Everyone was very impressed with the house and the beautiful location. I hope to come back again for a longer stay. Tim and Kim were honestly the kindest and most helpful hosts I've had.
