Cottage vacation rentals in Crantock

My partner and I had a great stay here for a long weekend. The place was so peaceful and quiet but close to amenities. The bed in particular was so comfortable, something I find hard to find at Airbnb’s! Claire and her husband were such lovely hosts and even gave us some free home grown eggs for breakfast. Plus lots of local recommendations. The local is good for seeing both the north and south coast. Easy to get the train too if you don’t fancy driving. 100% would come back and recommend the others too!

This property is absolutely gorgeous and so comfortable! We loved our stay. There was plenty of room and having so many bathrooms was definitely a plus. This was a great home base for our Cornwall adventures!

Lovely little cottage with fantastic hot tub and outdoor space. Walking distance to Polperro village and easy access to the coastal path too.

Had a wonderful stay at Silva Cottage.The cottage was beautiful and had everything a person could need and very clean. The location was amazing set in woods and so so quiet apart from the birds which were a delight to see and hear especially watching the comings and going’s of Woodpeckers on the bird feeder. The hot tub was spectacular.Set in the woods nothing could compare to sitting back and enjoying the tub with a glass of fizz. We had a great recommendation from Lorraine for an Indian Takeaway which delivered to the cottage and ate a great lunch at The Tamar Inn at Calstock. Great location for walkers with Dartmoor on one side and Bodmin Moor on the other plus the coastal path. Would highly recommend this property and would love to return.

Lovely cottage in a stunning location. Excellent hosting, nice welcome treat (thanks!). The kitchen had everything we needed for our stay, we catered in and didn't eat out at all. The lounge is comfortable but sadly the weather was far too warm to justify lighting the log burner! Wifi was great, we streamed a film one evening without issue. The location is incredible, loads of walks directly from the door, including up to castle ruins just at the top of the hill. To be able to stomp up the hill to the prehistoric stones and watch the sun set over the sea, then stroll back down at dusk to sit in the hot tub and watch the stars come out, was truly magical.

Our stay in Fowey was nothing short of magical, and this Airbnb made it even more special. The location is fantastic -yes, it’s partway up a hill, but the stroll into town is short, scenic, and lined with the most charming restaurants and harborfont bars. Fowey itself is absolutely adorable. The converted schoolhouse is truly one-of-a-kind. The hosts did an amazing job preserving the original charm while creating a modern, inviting space that’s perfect for entertaining. And the hot tub overlooking the harbor? Unreal. I probably spent half the trip soaking in it. There were even thoughtful touches like umbrellas to borrow, which came in handy in classic English weather. We did experience a minor issue with noise from neighbors in an adjoining unit, but the host was incredibly responsive and professional. They made it clear they cared and took swift action to make sure we were comfortable.

A really homely cottage. Perfect for a few days getaway. Unfortunately it rained on our break so ended up stuck inside. It would have been nice to have sat outside more! Overall it has what it says on the tin. Don't go here if you are expecting all mod cons and a pristine home. It's just somewhere cosy to get away from it all, with friendly owners and lots of privacy.

Super friendly helpful hosts with a great cottage with everything you need for your stay. Comfy bed. Top notch power shower. Nice coffee machine. Cottage is edge of village with some fabulous views. Quiet and comfy accommodation. Walkable (5 minutes) friendly locals pub in village. Walkable (10 minutes) Spar supermarket and the lovely Kay’s Fish and Chip shop. Thanks Jim and Lyn. An absolutely beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. The cottage was well appointed and had everything we needed. A cosy bedroom with a clever hidden kitchen. The bathroom was much larger than we expected and the shower was excellent. The star of the show is undoubtedly the outside space - the garden is a private and peaceful area, well laid out and adorned with pretty wildflowers. The outside copper bath is large and luxurious, a relaxing spot to watch the sunset (and cows!). We’d definitely recommend the cottage to anyone. Beautiful inside and out.

This was our second stay at Sharon's barn and we will definitely come back again. It's in a great location, has all the bits and pieces you need for a week's holiday and is incredibly comfortable. the bed is very comfy and we slept soundly, waking ready for a walk to the beach for a swim.

We had the most lovely stay at Isobel‘s place. The cottage is absolutely gorgeous, peaceful and has beautiful surroundings! The kitchen is incredibly well equipped and we woke up with the nicest sea view every morning! St. Just is a very quaint and cute little village and absolutely worth a visit! We would definitely stay here again whenever we visit Cornwall!

We have had a lovely week at Riverside Cottage, the cottage is picture perfect , very clean and had everything you could need. Adrian and Lucy were friendly, welcoming and helpful without intruding , they were very understanding of our anxious dog and the private, secluded garden at the garden was perfect, lovely local walks right next to the cottage. A perfect relaxing and restful stay. Will certainly go again.

A very peaceful, cosy place to stay with so many beautiful things to see and visit in the area. Ailsa was a fantastic host and welcomed us as soon as we arrived. She answered my messages quickly and was always ready to help us. Lovely touches on arrival were a vase of flowers from Ailsa's garden and a bottle of Prosecco. We had a wonderful time.

Ideal central location for visiting the various coastal resorts in the area. The accommodation layout and facilities are perfect for a multi night stay. Liaison with Jenna was great.

Lovely cottage in a peaceful area. Very clean with everything and more for a family. Games room has table tennis, darts, toys and games, also more toys and board games in the chests in the bedroom. Our 2 year old grandson was well provided for. Including buckets and spades for the beach. Blackout blind provided was well appreciated for his sleep. Suzy communicated very well and set up the travel cot etc. Lovely touch was the welcome pack milk, wine, fudge and biscuits. Easy walk down to the train station, bus stop or down to the beach. Very steep walk back up but good exercise! No hesitation in recommended this cottage. Thank you for making it so welcoming.

This is a lovely countryside location which is walking distance from the beach . It’s tastefully furnished, spotlessly clean, spacious and everything I needed. Rachel was quick to reply when we needed to be flexible with the dates and also welcoming when we arrived .

This was our second stay at Primrose Cottage as before everything was amazing and didn’t fail to disappoint! Very comfortable and calming just what we all needed from a break from London. I already miss The Bird Song from The Garden and the sound of The Church Bells ringing! Wish we could have stayed longer!! Will definitely be back! We had a fabulous stay at Roger and Polly's cottage. The location was great for choice of amazing beaches and sights. Information given in advance was helpful, check in very straightforward and hosts very responsive. The cottage itself was really cosy and clean, the beds all super comfy with lovely bedding and all the other amenities perfect. Our kids had a great time pottering around the garden and going for little walks with us down the quiet lane in the evening to see the cows. Thanks so much for having us stay :) we hope to come back again

Very nice and very well-maintained accommodation. The location is perfect to take extensive coastal walks on the one hand and explore the surrounding area on the other. The landlord is always helpful and extremely nice and accommodating.

If you are hesitating about booking Cliff Cottage in Portloe then please don’t even question it…just book it! By far the loveliest Air B n b we have had the privilege to stay in. Annie and Giovanni are perfect hosts. Charming, warm, always available and welcoming but never intrusive. Together they have created a little piece of heaven. The cottage is gorgeous and perfectly situated. The incomparable views, peace and tranquillity, creative interior design, attention to detail, thoughtful extras and the comfort and cleanliness of the cottage combine to create something truly magical. They have literally thought of everything. We felt instantly at home. My husband spent most of his time staring out of the window enjoying the views and we loved spending time in the garden and enjoying the sound of the waves. Loads to do in the local area. Stunning coastal walks in either direction and the village of Portloe captured our hearts. We truly did not want to leave.
