Pine cone paradise was super cute for the weekend. Hot tub and fire pit are major pluses. Wood on site. Creek out back was beautiful. Dog loved it. Quick to respond hosts!!

We came up for a few nights to elope in the mountains with our two dogs. Meghan was so accommodating. This is our second time at this cabin but plan on making this our go to vacation spot when we come to Lake Placid!

The place was very beautiful! My girlfriend and I stayed a weekend at the place and the place was super clean and perfect for us two . We loved the hot tub and the paddle boats that were provided for free. The fishing was great and the bed is super comfortable. The host is very responsive and informative . We like to stay at unique AIR BNBS and like to try something different each time , but this one we would 100% do again and are already making plans to do so .

We had a great stay overall! The location is peaceful and remote—perfect for a quiet getaway in the Adirondacks. Just a heads-up: cell service is very limited in the area, so make sure to set your GPS directions before you arrive. The house itself was in good order and matched the listing—clutter-free and comfortable. While it could have used a deeper clean, it was tidy and functional and accurate to the listing. The beds were especially excellent—super comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. Would recommend for anyone looking to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. The host Daniel is excellent and a pleasure to work with. Very responsive and proactive, and it's clear he takes pride in his AirBnB business.

Wow!! Stay here!! My wife and I had a wonderful stay at the Cabin! Everything was squeaky clean, cozy, bed was super comfortable, and had everything you'd need. Hot tub was SO nice, check in was beyond easy, and Amy was a responsive and caring host. Easy five stars!!

Bob and Joan’s cabin was absolutely spectacular. Overall this place is the perfect mountain getaway! This place has all the amenities you could need, prime commute to surrounding ADK regions, and let’s not forget the breathtaking views. This place exceeded our expectations and was exactly what we needed for a get away to the mountains with the dog. Bob was an amazing host and we look forward to coming back, as well as passing along this gem to friends and family to also book with Bob & Joan!

Cabin was a perfect Adirondack getaway. It had everything we needed, a nice sized kitchen area with all the pots, pans and cutlery, including cast iron pans to cook with over the open fire outback, where were enjoyed a fire by the flowing brook each night. The loft bed was very comfortable, and the wood fired stove was a pleasant addition to the chilly evening. The outhouse was clean and easily accessible. Michael and Burju were very responsive and left detailed instructions on how to get to the property, as well as descriptions and instructions of all the various amenities. We would absolutely stay again!

this place was beautiful and SO peaceful!! my partner and i decided to come here for a valentine weekend getaway and it was so worth it. we plan on coming back during summer time to see how beautiful it is during the sunshine :) thank you bonnie, you and your place are amazing!

Very nice place to stay . Quiet and solitude. Extremely well stocked from kitchen to amenities to firewood . Would recommend. Jeanne was amazing to work with . We were in pickle and she totally helped us out . My son was getting married and we had food and desserts that needed refrigeration. The time between moving to next house meant possibly ruining the desserts . Jeanne allowed us to stay in her other rental and refrigerate what we needed . Ever so thankful for her genuine kind act. Wonderful place. Both of her rentals !!!! Would definitely return.

We absolutely loved staying here. We were hiking throughout the weekend therefore it was very nice to come back to such a peaceful place, with a beautiful view inside and out.

A very cozy and clean cabin surrounded by woods. The area is very quiet and there are very few cars that pass by the street, but is also walkable to a gas station with a store. Each room has its own heating control, which is nice. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook.

We had an amazing time at the historic Ice House cabin. The cabin was cozy yet had everything you need to get away and spend time in the Adirondacks. Thanks for a great time!

We had a lovely stay at Aileen’s. The cottage is waterfront, so we were easily able to launch our SUP, and we really enjoyed sitting on the porch with lake views.

Perfect place to get away from it all, quiet and listening to the frogs at night was kinda peaceful. Caught some good fish down by the river while roasting marshmallows. There is an AMAZING ice cream place not too far away that is a definite place to check out.

Words do no justice for how absolutely incredible our stay at this cabin was! We look forward to returning to our new serene and happy place! It was so much more than we could have imagined inside and out, and the hosts were so thoughtful and accommodating. The entire process was smooth and when we arrived we felt right at home, it was magical! We were very satisfied and comfortable, we loved the Cabin! It's pretty, cozy and brand new!! A good drive to get there from Canton or Potsdam, but it was worth it for us! Close to the main road, even though you have to drive a bit inside the wood, the area was cute to look around. Clear indications and a lot of lights, I really appreciated that!! Prize was reasonable and a lot of stuff provided without extra costs. The hosts are very generous, accommodating and they thought of everything! I was pleasantly surprised, we had everthing we needed. The bed = SO COMFORTABLE! We can put on AC if needed. The sauna is a plus and very cool. I'm very happy I found this Cabin and I will definitely come back when I visit this area again! Thank you again Pearl and Harry :-)

We loved the cabin! Was a beautiful getaway for me and my family. Was just as described. Peaceful and cozy. Loved waking up every morning to watch the birds and overlook the pond. Although it rained the majority of our trip, we still were able to enjoy the outdoors and checked out some spots located in a recommendation book they provided. Was nice to relax in front of the fireplace after a long day. Very friendly and would highly recommend the cabin. Also gave us some homemade jam which was absolutely delicious. Thank you Ron and Cheryl, was a very nice getaway.

Kyle was a great host who responded quickly to any concerns we had. The instructions were very thorough, leaving no room for error or confusion. The house felt very cozy and had everything that was listed. It was definitely a great stay and will be recommending to others.

My girlfriend and I decided to stay at Kat's cottage and experience the beautiful Adirondack autumn- the views were spectacular and the cottage was perfect. We enjoyed the peaceful surroundings, easy access to Owl Head for hiking, as well as the isolation to relax and enjoy the foliage. The cottage was quaint and well stocked, with plenty of outdoor space and a warm, cozy interior. We will definitely consider staying again the next time we're looking for a beautiful weekend getaway!

Gorgeous cabin and even better surroundings. Indian lake is such a nice escape from the busy world. Definitely make sure you have your bug spray and a good pair of boots. I also checked the north bridge rail biking while I was there and it was just such an awesome stay! Phenomenal host, cozy cabin, and beautiful nature!
