My flat is on the ground floor . Lovely restaurants and coffee shops very close by . Waitrose is a 5/10 minute walk and there is a Scotmid and small Sainsbury's in opposite direction again no more than 5/10 minute walk . Local delicatessens and beautiful cheese shops very close by. Beautiful Royal Botanic Gardens very close by . Modern art galleries 10/15 min walk which both have lovely coffee shop/ restaurants . Guests will have full access to the entire property and small patio area outside patio doors in flat . Great for coffee or glass of wine of which both are supplied. I will meet you at the flat to show you found and give you keys and my mobile no . I live about 15 minutes from flat . I'm available by text or mobile The apartment is set in trendy Stockbridge. There are many restaurants, coffee shops, delicatessens, and bars close by, and it's also near the Royal Botanical Gardens. Within walking distance are two modern art galleries, both with nice cafes. There is a bus stop less than 50m away from the entrance to the property giving direct access to the city. From there guests will have access to the trams and train stations taking them wherever they wish. Please let me know in advance if you would like to use sofa bed

We arrived and were made to feel at home immediately. It was like visiting family. Highly appreciate the uncomplicated and casual attitude with a very pleasant interior design. If you travel alone, as I often do, this place is a real haven. The breakfast was a wonderful way to start the day with conversations, recommendations and freshly made bread. Being able to use the kitchen and sitting room is a plus as well as the view into green trees. The room was not big enough for me to do my yoga and there is not too much space to stow much in the room. I can recommend and hope to back again thanks

We had a lovely Hogmanay at Georgia’s place in Edinburgh. She was a very kind and responsive host, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! We especially appreciated the parking that came with the flat. The kitchen was immaculately clean and very well equipped. We loved the perks of staying in her home, (Xmas decorations, record player, coffee machine, etc.) and would definitely recommend it to others.

A traditional cast-iron fireplace is set within a white mantel, creating a focal point in the room. A green plant is positioned nearby, while a plush tufted leather ottoman rests on a patterned rug. A flat-screen TV is mounted on the adjacent wall.

Great place to stay, and is only a short walk (about 15-20mins) to princes street and restaurants. Lovely apartment which was really peaceful and quiet. To note: if you have low mobility you may struggle to walk up the stairs to the apartment as there is only a small section of railing towards the top of the stairs and the bath was a bit high so it was a bit difficult to get your leg over to enter the bath.

The Garden Cottage was everything we hoped for and more. The location was very convenient to Stockbridge and all of its restaurants and shops. There are numerous bus stops within 10-20 mins walk to grab a quick bus up the hill into New Town, across Princes Gardens into Old Town, or even for easy day trips like to Rosslyn Chapel or Portobello. Victoria was a very accommodating host and easy to work with. The cottage had plenty of space, was very well equipped for self-catering, and was stocked with all the basics you need (e.g., coffee, tea, sugar, etc.). Having a washer and dryer (as well as a drying rack) was a luxury we’ve rarely seen in the UK or Europe.
