We had a wonderful stay in The Bothy. It was comfortable, clean, warm and cosy. We really enjoyed the peaceful setting and being in among nature. Alison and Ian were lovely, friendly hosts providing us with a magnificent welcome pack including eggs, bacon, homemade bread and honey. They were always on hand for advice and recommendations too. Would highly recommend if you want some peace and quiet.

Unique Renovated Luxurious Highland Mill Scotland

Jean-PhilippeRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
Megan and Sean’s place is beautiful—thoughtfully designed, well equipped, and tastefully decorated. It was perfect for our family of five (two adults and three children). Megan went above and beyond, even baking a cake and bringing fresh flowers from her garden to welcome us. The house is full of charming details and has been expertly renovated, blending the character of the old building with modern comforts. We especially appreciated the thoughtful extras for families—there were toys and board games that kept the kids happily entertained. There was also a wealth of local resources—books, maps, and guides—to help us explore the region. Firewood was provided for the fireplace, and the BBQ was ready to go with a full gas tank. It’s a wonderful place to relax—we’ll definitely be back.

We stayed at James and Jessica’s bothy for 4 nights. Wished we could have booked a (much) longer stay. Everything so perfect, beautiful and thoughtful decorated and also the attentive small gifts upon arrival. Drinks, cookies, sweeties (all local/Scottish). Not to forget the stunning surroundings/nature and the friendly owners of this little gem. 6 stars!

Spacious family property with garden in Aberlour

RohiniRating, 5 stars1 month ago
This was our third stay in Lesley's home and, as always, we were made to feel extremely welcome. The house was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It is in a great location, just a two-minute walk from Aberlour High Street and close to many distilleries and countryside routes. I especially appreciated the proximity of the house to the electric vehicle charger on Aberlour High Street, which made it easy to get around in my electric car. Lesley went out of her way to make our stay comfortable - she visited us to say hello, offered to drive us to a distillery, and was very responsive to our messages. We look forward to staying again on our next visit to Speyside!
