House vacation rentals in Cow Bay

We had a lovely family holiday in Port Douglas! The house is perfect for more than one family - We had the kids stay in the one part of the house with the grandparents on the other side which worked really well. We loved the courtyard in the middle and beautiful big kitchen! Bianca was always available and responsive and she even made a plan to come and assist with some windows we struggled to open. There were also more than enough bath and pool towels which were a big bonus! All in all - a lovely stay and added to our list if we visit Port Douglas again!

The property is exactly as pictured, great house to suit for a large family. The indoor outdoor flow is fantastic for alfresco dining whilst enjoying the large pool. There are so many surrounding restaurants and attractions that are within walking distance which makes it more enjoyable if you don’t want to drive. All the finishing touches ensure you can enjoy a nice meal at home as the kitchen is very well equipped with such ample space. Would highly recommended this house to anyone!

Beautiful property, well presented, peaceful and private. Glenn and Mel are great hosts, communication was great and we were delighted with the freshly baked bread and fresh fruit platter on our arrival. The kids, big and little, enjoyed the pool and various games. A lot of thought and preparation has been put into this beautiful home. Well done Glenn and Mel. Wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this property if we were ever back in the neighbourhood.

We really enjoyed our stay, the location is fantastic, close to everything. The house is very child friendly, it was great for our toddler.

We had a fantastic stay at Rob’s property! The house was peaceful, spotlessly clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing visit. Its location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach and shops, making it incredibly convenient. The hosts were wonderful and always responsive, promptly answering all our questions. Although we encountered a couple of minor issues during our stay, they were resolved quickly and efficiently, which we really appreciated. Overall, this property provided the perfect getaway, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to others. Thank you for a great experience!

We stayed 5 nights in this lovely house. It’s 7min drive to Port Douglas Main Street. The outlook over the golf course is beautiful. The house has 3 bedrooms (two down, one up, plus an open plan upstairs living area with a sofa bed). The only downside was the lack of decent window coverings in one of the bedrooms. The kitchen is well stocked, the internet is fast, and the board games and pool toys were appreciated by the kids.

Our stay was absolutely lovely and was exactly what we hoped for. Everything from check in to checkout was a breeze. Would definitely recommend booking here!

We had an absolutely fantastic week away at The Bahama house in Port Douglas. The house is stunning and thoughtfully laid out and decorated. It is ideal for families and friends. We relaxed by the pool, visited the sites including four mile beach and spent time at the Great Barrier Reef. We are so grateful to have stayed here and would love to visit in the future again!

I was there for five nights as a base to explore the Daintree Rainforest and the surrounding area. Lisa was very communicative and fast to answer emails. Self-checkin was a breeze, keys in a lockbox. The house had everything I needed for self-catering and laundry equipment was a real bonus after 2 1/2 weeks travelling. Close to a Woolworths and local attractions. Covered car parking and a covered verandah for outdoor seating. You can't go wrong here.

beautiful modern property. The beds were super comfy, air cons cold and bathrooms modern with all the amenities and special touches. pantry had most little things needed for a holiday and the pod coffee was a great bonus. Huge frig to hold whatever we had. the location for us was perfect for day trips north and to Barron Falls. Also 5min from CBD, clubs etc. a great staging place for our needs. IMO anyone booking Eva's place will be more than happy. The noise albeit in background with doors, windows open is not obtrusive with closed really non existent.

Fantastic place to stay in Port Douglas. Beautifully clean, lovely furnishings and appliances, and so close to the Main Street. We also loved the pool. Sally had great communication. Highly recommend!

We had an amazing stay here. The house was beautiful, we loved the pool, outdoor area, balcony with a view and how close we were to the Main Street. The house was very clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful, relaxing stay. Check in was easy and hosts were extremely responsive to any questions. Very family friendly and private. Would stay here again and can highly recommend.

This place is as close to heaven you will ever get. So much room, beautiful and very private garden, short walk to the beach, lovely creek running past the garden. And endless visitors from the Forrest. We saw a lace monitor, all sorts of birds, too many butterflies to count, even the spiders were fascinating (we found a bird eating tarantula by the creek, and were happy to leave him in disturbed!!) One word of advice. There is only one small shop for groceries, and it is only open limited hours. We arrived on Saturday after it closed, and it wasn’t open on Sunday!! Stock up for your first few days at the Woolworths on your way through Mossman so you have plenty to get by just in case. There are a small number of places that sell lunch/dinner, but you can count them all on one hand, and they too run limited hours. But for the small price of a little inconvenient shopping, this place more than makes up for it with the endless majesty of the rainforest!! Oh, we did see a cassowary! :-)

Absolutely beautiful place to stay. Very quiet and very private. And we loved the beds! They were very comfortable after a long day of shopping. The pool area was beautiful. It was far too cold (for us) to swim, but we would definitely go back in summer just to hang out by the pool. Very happy. And he has a beautiful doggo if anybody needs to get a puppy fix🥰

This property is absolutely stunning — a true slice of paradise nestled right on the Daintree River. The house is beautifully designed, well-maintained, and fully immersed in nature. Waking up to the sounds of the rainforest and the ocean was magical. It’s the perfect spot for anyone looking to disconnect and experience the wild beauty of North Queensland. That said, it is very remote — no shops or restaurants nearby, and the final stretch of road is definitely an adventure. Also, expect to share the space with some of the local insect population (bring bug spray!). But honestly, those little trade-offs are part of the charm. If you're looking for luxury surrounded by raw nature, this is the place. Would absolutely return!

Wow! What a stunning place! From the moment of booking we were so excited to stay here as the photos were beautiful and reviews so positive. And we were not disappointed! Clean, with every you could think of or need, it ticks all of the boxes. Definitely recommended and we will be hoping to stay here once again when we come back to Cairns sometime in the future.
