James place was lovely and he was very accommodating to our late check-in and early checkout times. Very peaceful place. Highly recommend. The wifi basically doesn't work in this room. It might get fixed in the future, but something to take note of.

Hi Peter & Fionnuala, Thank you so much for the warm hospitality—we’ll truly miss Poppy’s charm, Timmy’s not so much majestic strut, and the crows’… unique vocal talents (though we won’t exactly be pining for their morning serenades). It’s been a real treat staying at Cragg House! All the best, Ramona & Eduard

Abbeyleix double room in beautiful family home

Beautiful home in country. The bed was comfortable and room clean with nice ensuite. We didn’t get to meet our hosts but they left clear instructions to get in. They left us coffee, tea, toast and cereal for morning.

I am so grateful for the two nights I stayed at Roz and Roy's lovely home! Not only were the house and grounds stunning, Roz and Roy made the stay feel like I was staying with friends, sharing their food and stories with me (like many others have said, Roz is a wonderful cook!). I also enjoyed meeting their cute dogs and learning about their sustainable garden. A beautiful and peaceful way to spend two days.

Cosy Country B&B in Kinnitty near Slieve Blooms

Perfect very classy two night stay near the end of our holiday. Christina’s breakfast was absolutely delicious. Real plunger coffee. Really nice sitting room and dining area. Beautiful garden & very nice pub for dinner nearby. Christine phoned ahead and made a booking for us at the castle in the “pub library“ for dinner on one night. Christine also gave us an idea for a superb 7 km hike on the Castle grounds, that we accessed via a short walk from the B&B.

From the minute we met John he was so helpful. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable and everything was ok. He made us feel right at home. Id have no problem staying there again. It is such a beautiful spot you could just sit outside and admire the view. We will definitely be back.

Cozie Bed Breakfast single/small double. Bedroom 4

AlessandroRating, 5 stars3 months ago
Theresa and her husband are very friendly. If you need something, they always help you. They like to chat, if you want, and recommend what to do, where to go, and how to do it. I was accompanying some students on a cultural exchange and I didn't have much to do, so I was able to work in the common areas as if I were at home.
A charming outdoor area is adorned with vibrant flowers in various pots and hanging baskets against a textured stone wall. A cat rests on a decorative bench, adding warmth to the inviting space filled with greenery.
