Cottage 101 - Moyard

Absolutely stunning location!!!!! We spent an entire morning climbing on the peninsula, looking in the tide pools, watching the otters play, and seabirds fly. The sheep near by could be seen and heard and I couldn't imagine a more beautiful spot. It was a short drive to Kylemore Abbey and the national park. The shear sense of serenity and freshness was invigorating. The beds were comfortable and the living room was well stocked with reading material for a peaceful evening. My group has already discussed coming back for a longer stay just to enjoy the coastline more.

Following a stunning week’s weather to top It all, this lovely home was a treat, spotless and well equipped, comfortable and spacious. Great location, perfect for families to enjoy with beautiful local beach nearby. Local shop/ pub within walking distance with others in nearby Gweesalia or Bellmullet. Golfing, fishing, boat trips in the locality, easy reach to Ballina. Great communication from the owners, easy check in, we would definitely return on another occasion.

Fab Location - Annex of Beach House Aughris Sligo

FionaRating, 5 stars1 month ago
Lovely peaceful location. Asked sheila beforehand if basics would b there on arrival and sure enough there was tea, coffee, pint of milk and packet of biscuits We arrived half hour early and sheila had just arrived to clean house after the previous tenant so we went for walk on thebeautiful beach and house was ready when we arrived back. Super comfy bed. So peaceful day and night. Tenants in main house were very quiet. Beach bar less than 10 mins walk was very good value - should book ahead if dining there. We didn't use cooking facilities in house so cannot comment in that regard. Overall loved our stay and would be very happy to re book. Sheila was quick to respond to any queries before we arrived. We put bed linen on to wash before we left but as there was only one washing pod we didn't put on the 2 towels as didn't want to overload washing machine. Would recommend

Greenfort Cottage

The cottage actually looked even better in real life than the photos. It is charming, rustic, homely and comfortable. It is a real home from home. Towels were provided. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen well stocked and Margaret left us home made treacle bread and Irish butter the first evening. Tea, coffee, milk and sugar was all available which was really welcoming. Margaret recommended the local pub/restaurant (the Beach Bar) which was excellent. The food in the restaurant was very tasty and great value. The ambiance was perfect and the staff friendly. The electricity in the cottage was paid by using £2 euro coins in the meter and it was reasonably good value. There is a private pathway down to the nearby beach which is a nice walk. The cows in the field next to the cottage are beautiful. We had a brilliant stay and we cannot cannot recommend Margaret and the cottage more highly.

the apartment was clean and tidy and it was in a great location. just a 10 minute drive to Croagh Patrick and a few minutes into the centre of Westport. Great to use as a base for exploring Mayo and beyond. Christina and James were very kind with us arriving late at night, leaving some things in the fridge and meeting us on arriving to show us in the place. plenty of local amenities too.

House is beautiful and very comfortable! All the amenities we need and super clean. The view and surrounding scenery are amazing. We walked 3 1/2 miles to town on Sky road each morning and saw donkeys, Connemara ponies, jack rabbits and pheasants. Wonderful restaurants in town. Great hike up Diamond Hill in nearby National Park and swam in ocean at beautiful Dog’s beach. Amazing place for a relaxing and fun vacation!

Overlooking Enniscrone Beach and Atlantic Ocean

EvaRating, 5 stars10 months ago
Cosy paradise with breathtaking views I could write an essay on how much I loved my stay here. While the house is absolutely stunning, beautifully decorated and really spacious, the star of the show is the view - WOW. Sitting on the big comfy chair with a good book and a glass of Prosecco is what dreams are made of. So breathtaking. The house is directly across the road from the beautiful 5km beach and a few mins walk from kids activities and shops and restaurants. The bedroom on the top floor is likely the one you will all be fighting for. En-suite, stunning view and even has its own little dressing room. I couldn’t recommend this place more. We loved it so much we extended our trip by 2 nights. As lovely as the pictures are - they absolutely do not capture how fabulous this house is and how spectacular the views are.

Award Winning Designed Home with Ocean views

MarkRating, 5 stars10 months ago
We loved this house, a superb family destination, our 4 kids loved the up stairs play area. The down stairs was wonderfully set up for family meal times. The location is excellent, the kids got a few days of surf school and we saw a good bit of Sligo and got some great tips on what to do from the hosts.

Enniscrone Lighthouse Penthouse

MattRating, 5 stars3 days ago
This condo is spacious--4 bedrooms--and the views from upstairs are incredible. The weather was beautiful and the sunset over the beach was memorable. Eileen gave some great tips for places to eat and, important to us, where to get coffee. Because the view is so fabulous, we brought takeout pizza (which was excellent) from the Italian place within walking distance so as to enjoy the setting. A couple of nice pubs are also a really close walk. My party prioritizes golf, and the condo is a VERY short drive to the beautiful Enniscrone golf course. It also is a good base to drive to the equally impressive Carne golf course which is about 50 minutes away. I hope to get back to Enniscrone at some point, and I would definitely try to stay here again.
