Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Coronado Island

I am a San Diego local, but my family was coming to town and we needed more space. I picked this place because I knew my sister and brother-in-law would love being able to walk to all the restaurants and brewery nearby and my 6 year old nephew would get a lot of use out of the pool. The place exceeded my expectations, it was perfect for everyone. We spent a lot of time in the backyard swimming or playing board games, and my Mom got a lot of use out of the hot tub. Communication with the host was excellent and the place was comfortable and clean. The only downside is my family might visit too often now!

stayed two nights at Jess’s place and really loved the location and neighborhood—very quiet and beautiful. The Airbnb itself is cozy and nicely set up, perfect for couples or small families. It had everything we needed. Jess even provided a crib for my daughter, despite my last-minute request. I’d definitely love to stay here again!

Very walkable location if you’re planning to hang out in Ocean Beach! Easy to get on the highway if driving around elsewhere. The space is very comfortable and the porch/backyard are huge perks! Everything about the house was great and Josh was an excellent host. All the other reviews and the listing description mention the flight path and if you’re sensitive to noise I would not recommend this place because the planes literally fly overhead constantly very low and incredibly loud. In the morning especially it’s at least every 30 seconds. But if you’re tolerant to such noises then I would absolutely recommend staying here! Really thoughtful touches, laundry, everything we needed for our little baby, AC, room darkening shades, awesome speakers and a nice tv for while the baby napped.

We stayed 2 nights at the Treehouse and loved it. The whole place is decorated with so much character and charm you really feel right at home. The soaking tub was one of my favorite features; It's huge and perfect for relaxing in. The book nooks are cozy and make you want to stay in and read all day. Great hosts, clear instructions, and a wonderful stay.

Our host John provides a beautifully decorated home in a quiet, central neighborhood. The setup is exceptional, with both a heated pool and hot tub, and the experience felt like staying in a boutique hotel. He thoughtfully includes amenities like toothbrushes, makeup remover wipes, cotton pads, and more — the attention to detail really impressed us. We absolutely loved our time in La Jolla, and John’s local tips were spot-on. We’ll definitely be returning and highly recommend booking with him.

Wonderful spot. Exactly as described and pictured. Truly one of the nicest AirBnBs we have ever experienced. Beautiful inside with plenty of natural light. Every little touch seemed intentional and well-placed. Great kitchen space. Absolutely amazing view of the surrounding area. Very close to the airport, Balboa Park, and more. We had a lovely time visiting San Diego and this inviting space set the right tone from the start!

We loved how close we were to The beach and the bay. Also were able to walk to restaurants and the arcade.

You will love this spot! It's cozy, clean and an amazing springboard for exploring San Diego! It's located around the block from Balboa Park and the Zoo with great restaurants nearby. One of the biggest winning points is how centrally located you will be and your 15 minutes from the airport, beaches and Petco Park. About the space itself - bright, sunny and comfortable, with a comfortable queen bed, full kitchen and spotless/ clean bathroom. Lastly, the host - Steven, was incredible helpful via local tips for food and activities. Well worth your time for a great experience. Enjoy your stay!

This space was perfect for my friend and I when we were in town for a wedding. It looks just like the pictures and was very clean. The host, Kay was also, very friendly and communicative. Overall, a great B&B!

Great place if you are looking for a beach setting. Clean linens and towels, clean room. Kitchen has nice plates, glasses, utensils, etc.

A Perfect San Diego Coastal Getaway! I recently had the pleasure of staying at Carl's beach home in the Pacific/Mission Beach area, and it was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the charming beach cottage. The decor is super cute, combining cozy beach vibes with modern comforts, making it feel like a home away from home. The location couldn't be better! Just a short stroll from the beach, we enjoyed daily walks along the shore and stunning sunsets. The nearby restaurants and shops added to the convenience, making it easy to explore the local scene. Carl was an exceptional host, providing us with all the information we needed for a smooth stay. The cottage was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation. If you're looking for a perfect beach getaway, I highly recommend Carl’s beach home. This was a wonderful place to stay. My wife, my two children, and myself stayed here for three nights. Everything was a breeze, and we had everything that we needed. Mugs, glasses, plates, etc. were all provided. This is so conveniently located. You are within a three minute walk to Starbucks, a four minute walk to the beach, and a four minute walk to outstanding restaurants nearby. The area is safe, clean, and quiet. This place is ideal for a small family that is bringing only one car. If you bring more than one car, you have to park publicly on the side of the street, which is very inconvenient in my opinion. Geoff provided everything for us, including an extra twin size bed, sand toys for the beach, beach, chairs, and beach towels. We would love to stay with Jeff again.

Our stay at Tony’s place was too short! It’s a great place with everything we needed AND walkable to so much in the super cool neighborhood. We loved that coffee and laundry supplies were provided. Anything else we may have needed was available just a short walk away. We didn’t have the opportunity to cook but it appeared as though everything needed was there. Plenty of towels and other supplies on hand too. A designated parking spot was another bonus. We loved all of the windows and being able to open them and feel the cool breeze.

Loved our stay! Beautiful views of the beach and ocean. Swathi was an amazing host, too - she has thought of everything you could possibly need for your stay to feel at home. We didn’t want to leave but hope to be back soon!!!

We enjoyed our stay at Andy’s place. It was plenty of space for 3 of us to stay. Great views. It gets a little warm at night in the bedroom without air conditioning but they do provide an extra fan which helps. Overall, the space was great and we would recommend to others.

Incredible location right on the beach! Great restaurants and eateries all in walking distance, including coffee shops, bakery, and convenience stores. Emmy's welcome book included great tips and recommendations for the area. Both the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed, both well stocked. Highly recommend.
