Fay's father, at the time 90 years of age, and his girlfriend, 91 years of age, automatically named it the Love Shack as they envisaged, once renovated, them sitting in bed, playing cards and taking in the view and so the name stuck. We loved staying at Fenella's cosy cottage. Although a drive to Mansfield we enjoyed the peaceful surroundings and beautiful view of the farm and Mt Buller. Perfect location for star gazing. The cottage itself was well equipped, clean and very comfortable. The hosts were lovely and responsive. Thanks again for having us and accommodating our stay with bub. Hope to return!

We had a great experience staying here. Location was beautiful and quiet. The place was clean, comfortable and as described. The host was friendly, sent local restaurant recommendations / what to do in the area and was responsive.

Perfect place to stay for backpackers. The location is very close to the Razorback trailhead where we hiked for a day. There is a nice view of Mt. Feathertop from the unit's terrace. Complete with amenities and kichenette. 2-3 minutes drive up to the town where there's a lot of restaurants and shops. Will definitely come back here for our Mt. Bogong trip next year!

Our stay at Red Earth lodge was just amazing. Eibhlin was a wonderfully responsive host from whom you get the sense that she genuinely hopes your stay is as pleasurable as possible. The sparkling upon arrival helped us celebrate an important family occasion and the lodge was impeccable and flawless. We had such a peaceful time by the fire, inside and outside, in stunning location. Thank you Eibhlin!
