Amazing time at this wonderful cottage. The hosts were very responsive and friendly, and have put a lot of time and energy into making this cottage an excellent stay. The hosts for this cottage clearly have a passion for making people feel right at home. Thoughtfully, they've left notes, instructions, videos, and even created home automations to make staying here as easy as possible. Everything was fully stocked from cutlery, spices, cleaning supplies, linens, etc. there was almost nothing that they missed out on that a group of people might need! The Hot tub and Suna were wonderful additions that we took full advantage of. The bed rooms and guest houses were cozy and comfortable (with AC/heating). The waters were very nice. Sandy lake that doesn't get too deep until much much further out. The dock was well constructed and great for relaxing. Overall, one of the best AirBnB cottages that we've stayed at in years.

My friends and I stayed at this Airbnb as a surprise weekend away to celebrate our friend getting married. This Airbnb was the perfect spot for us, with lots of wonderful amenities on the property itself as well as a distillery and cider house within a less than 5 minute walk away. We were blown away by the attention to detail at this place, they are fully stocked with everything you could possibly need, including board games and outdoor activities. The entire property was pristine, inside the house and outside. The hosts were extremely kind and quickly responsive to messages. They even helped us with recommendations in the area. Do yourself a favour and book a stay here. My friends and I are hoping to return for another visit in the future! Thanks Wayne & Carolyn for a great stay. :)

I spent my bachelorette weekend with three friends at Amanda and Josh’s cottage, and it was absolutely perfect. We were lucky with the weather and got to spend lots of time outside - playing badminton, relaxing in the hot tub and sauna, and soaking in the stunning view. The fire pit and fireplace table were such cozy touches, especially in the evenings. We made great use of the kitchen and loved lounging in the den. Overall, it was the perfect setting for a fun and relaxing weekend. Highly recommend!

This was our third year staying at Paul’s beautiful spot on the river. As a group of seven seniors this spot is extremely suitable for our needs to be on one level. A perfect place for a larger group. Thank you Paul for letting us enjoy your clean, easily accessible home for our holidays. Hopefully see you next year.

Beautiful Airbnb for a girls weekend away! Everything was very clean and the Airbnb was decorated very nicely. It was the perfect spot for my bachelorette weekend. The hosts were nice enough to leave us a bottle of wine and a handwritten note for our stay. The host checked in with us throughout the weekend to make sure everything was going well, and we knew we could reach out to them at any point throughout the stay. They were quick to respond to any messages. The property was beautiful as well, and we really enjoyed the hot tub!

Amanda’s place was perfect for our girls’ weekend getaway. The peaceful location on the river was ideal and the house has so much space and is laid out well for a larger group. Lots of places you gather together or get away to a quiet spot on your own. The deck down by the water was such a nice spot to gather with coffee or cocktails. We’ll be back if Amanda will have us!

The house was spotless and the garden was absolutely lovely. Both we and our dog had a wonderful time during our stay. We always bring our own sheets to Airbnb stays, but we couldn’t help noticing how fresh and clean the ones here smelled — that was a really nice touch. Many of the things we brought with us were already available in the house, which made everything so convenient. Hot water was always available, which made our stay even more comfortable. The garden was peaceful, filled only with the sounds of birds and frogs — it was truly relaxing to just listen to nature. Getting away from Toronto for a few days was exactly what we needed. Before we arrived, Dylan had kindly left firewood out in the yard for us — that was such a thoughtful gesture and we really appreciated it. As a suggestion, the double bed could use some improvement — it wasn’t very comfortable. Also, the mosquitoes were really intense; despite using repellent, we were bitten all over. It was great to be back again. The place was wonderful again and we truly appreciate all that Tim & Cindy do to keep the place up and looking nice. We also noticed that there was a new wood stove which was a lot nicer for keeping the place warm at night as we had a couple of chilly nights, so thank you for that upgrade. we really enjoy the place and the location in proximity to the lake. My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Mackenzies place. Great host that communicated very well with us. Property is great for kids with a beach front and 10 minute drive to the town of buckhorn.

Robin’s cottage is by far one of my favorite places so far. They thought of everything. We spent a few days for a work retreat and had all we needed to make the week unforgettable. The views in the morning, the sunsets in the evening, fireplace right by the water, paddle boards, full kitchen… the list goes on. The hosts were very friendly and responsive. I am definitely going back!

We enjoyed our weekend getaway very much, We came for rest and relaxation and that is what we got The view from our front lawn overlooking the lake was like a little piece of heaven. Our time at Lazy Bear Lakehouse on Buckhorn Lake was truly unforgettable. Tucked away in a serene and scenic spot, the cottage offered the perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and tranquility. The cottage was spotless, well-organized, and beautifully maintained. Everything we needed was thoughtfully provided, allowing us to settle in and enjoy from the moment we arrived. The view overlooking the lake was absolutely stunning—constantly shifting throughout the day with the changing light. The sunset was especially breathtaking, painting the sky and water in the most vibrant and calming hues. Although the hosts, Michelle and Ryan, were not on-site, they were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay. Their thoughtful touches and clear communication made everything seamless and stress-free. Buckhorn Lake is one of the most peaceful places we’ve ever visited. Whether it was morning coffee on the deck or quiet afternoons enjoying the stillness of the water. We love it!

Our group had a great stay at Jim’s property !! Beautiful house, lots of room to accommodate everyone, the backyard was very big and property was very well kept ! Jim was a wonderful host ! Overall a great stay!

Tracey is an amazing host, very responsive and always making sure we were having a pleasant stay. The place is exactly like pictured in the advertisement. Brand new cottage, clean and well furnished. Very well equipped bedrooms and bathroom. The lake is pretty and the nearby hike is also very nice. The place is very peaceful. We had a wonderful time there, will very likely come back sometime.

We had a wonderful time there! There were many possible activities to do. We fully enjoyed the view, peacefulness and the numerous animals. The place was very well arranged, we almost felt at home.

The host was very responsive and answers all our questions well. The self-checkin instruction was very clear. We also had an early check-in at 12 PM, which was very convenient for our trip. The place has a great view and very stylish furnitures. We enjoyed the dock and sitting near the campfire.

Excellent stay! The beach club 1 house down was amazing for our kid with the sandy, shallow entrance and cafe. Everyone was friendly in the area, too. The master bedroom right on the lake is amazing. Kitchen is fully stocked and the entire house is cozy. Also very close to amenities as well as conservation areas. Makes for a very convenient cottage stay, especially if you have kids.

When selecting our holiday this year, we were looking for somewhere peaceful with a beautiful view that would allow us to recharge batteries. Patrick's home provided exactly this. The whole experience was awesome, the view spectacular. Overall the activities on the lake did not cause significant concern, the lake is big enough for jet skis but not for full motorboats. There were a few people who felt it was a great idea to just dash up and down the lake at top speed, but they soon got bored and stopped and this was, generally, only at the weekend. The rest of time the place was just serene. We were sad when it was time to go, we stayed 8 days and could have stayed 8 more.

my friends and I had an amazing time at Pradeesh place. we loved the surroundings, how spacious is the cottage, the nature, and that it was so close from Ganaraska forest. we would definitely come back there for another friends trip!!!

This Airbnb was the perfect gateway during the long weekend. Edward and Vasuki have kept the house well equipped and super clean. There were endless activities to do and the water being so close provided for such peaceful vibes. Edward and Vasuki were also very responsive during our stay and helped us promptly when the water pump went out during a storm.
