Our one bedroom studio apartment with separate kitchenette & shower room is located in a picturesque part of Ireland. Beaufort village is only a 12 min walk from our studio which has public houses and a restaurants.l The studio is located on the Ring of Kerry route and is a 10 min drive away from Killarney & Killorglin. Kerry Airport is a short spin away (20mins) and there are fabulous golf courses & beaches located nearby. Our Labrador dog named Booker will be on site to greet you on arrival !

Driftwood is located on the Wild Atlantic Way and on the Kerry Walkway. Killarney is 33kms and Dingle is 80 kms. We are 7 kms to the fabulous Dooks Golf Course. Policy: Only the number of persons booked as stated on the booking form are allowed to stay. There is also no smoking or pets allowed.

My space is ideal for couples and the solo traveler alike. My Studio apartment is attached to my home (a traditional Irish farmhouse) . We are surrounded by the most spectacular mountains on 3 sides and to the front it opens up to the beautiful Derriana lake. When you look out the front window of my studio you will be greeted by the lake and see Waterville in the distance. I am situated about 20 minutes from the village of Waterville and about 20 minutes from the town of Cahersiveen.

Just Off Wild Atlantic Way, my cottage is only a 10 minute walk to the nearest beach and we are surrounded by magnificent views including the Magillycuddy Reeks mountain range & Inch beach and even the Blasket Islands in the distance. Dooks Golf Course is a spectacular Links course located only 1km away from the cottage. The cottage is very homely and is located on our farm.

We had a very comfortable stay at Dooks Holiday home. The house was very clean, modern and extremely well equipped. The beautiful view of the mountain was an absolute bonus, which we enjoyed sitting outside using the garden furniture provided. Dooks is ideally placed for exploring the beautiful Ring of Kerry, and Mary and Denis are excellent hosts. We would love to return one day.

Der Aufenthalt bei Miranda war super. Wir konnten uns Kaffee und Tee zubereiten und den Kühlschrank benutzen Miranda hat uns Tipps gegeben, was wir abends noch machen konnten. Wir waren früher angekommen, als geplant und Miranda hat sofort darauf reagiert und ist gekommen, um uns alles zu zeigen. Tolle Gastgeberin.

Eileen and Gerard were great hosts and I would highly recommend them. They were flexible for the checkout since I had meeting to attend. They have nice back garden and beautiful view from the room. They have cats and a lamb who were friendly. The house is in peaceful place and is very clean. I would definitely stay there for my next trip if I can.

Que dire pour ce BnB. Une merveille ! Cela fait la deuxième fois que je séjourne ici et c’est toujours un plaisir. Les hôtes sont d’un incroyable gentillesse. Les chambres sont propres et agréables. La salle de bains est très vaste et confortable aussi. Un vrai plaisir. La vue au petit déjeuner est superbe et le petit déjeuner lui-même est extraordinaire ! Vraiment ! Bref, un bonheur .

La colazione (full irish breakfast), preparata sul momento da Marcella e suo marito, è stata deliziosa, un ottimo inizio di giornata. In conclusione, consigliamo al 100% il soggiorno da Marcella e suo marito, due persone gentilissime, con le quali è un piacere parlare.

Angela and Jim were just awesome. She responded right away to any questions that we had. Recommended some fantastic things to do and her favorite restaurant in the next town over turned out to be our favorite on the trip. It is a country setting, and it’s truly getting away to the country and allowing you to experience the “real” Ireland, and not just the tourist stops. She warns you about country living, that it’s ’no frills’, and it’s the perfect spot to disconnect and go on adventures in the countryside. Waking up to farms and mountains all around you? And the wood stove warming the space up quickly and efficiently? It was PERFECT.

Loved my stay at Róisín’s place. Located only a few mins away from Killorglin, this is an excellent base for exploring the beautiful Kerry countryside. The bed was cosy and the shower was excellent. Róisin was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.
