We had a fantastic time at Dormestone House. It is an amazing property with so much space so perfect for visiting with family or friends. It was the perfect place to celebrate Christmas. Would love to go in summer when we could use all of the facilities.

I stayed for my 30th birthday celebrations and had the best time ever. This place was perfect! the decor, the location, the surroundings and most importantly Karen and her husband was so friendly and lovely and ensured I had a special birthday. I’ve stayed at Airbnb’s before and I’ve never had a host as lovely as Karen was, the perfect host we could have wish for. The swimming pool was amazing and me and my family had a wonderful time enjoying it in the sun with a BBQ. The cottage was spotless and a welcome hamper was provided and every little detail was perfect. The garden area was beautiful through out the day and so peaceful and relaxing. I honestly can’t recommend this place enough, it was truly perfect and I will definitely be staying again and recommending to everyone I know! Thank you again for making it such a special birthday x

This was our second visit to the Lighthouse and it still is an amazing place, from the panoramic sea views to a lovely warm inviting home. A dip in the pool before breakfast, sitting with a coffee watching the seascape, as far as Essex and beyond, sunsets and so much more. I will make the same comment as I did last, this goes for the whole of our party across 3 generations and the dogs, the only bad thing about the Lighthouse is having to leave. Hopefully this will not be our last visit.

Lovely home away from home. We received a really warm welcome from our host, who answered all our questions and made sure we had everything we needed. The place was clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully. The outside patio with table and chairs was a bonus and was great for soaking up the sun. The indoor swimming pool, playground and arcades were great for the kids. I would highly recommend Pristine Clean Holidays and would definitely stay there again!

This house has absolutely everything you could ever want or need. Swimming pool is great and heated to a perfect temp for the kids. House is enormous and every little thing seems to have been thought of by the hosts including extras such as dressing gowns for all guests, soap, shampoo and a hairdryer in every room. Location is right on the coast with great views out the front of the sea. Garden is lovely. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks Alan and Bill

This house is just perfect and had everything we needed, the decor and furnishings were tasteful and stylish but felt comfortable and homely. The location was very quiet and peaceful but within walking distance to the harbour abs beach. We had such a wonderful stay and will definitely return!

great little place. We stayed with 2 young kids and it worked well (note there are some steep steps to navigate), we all had a great time.

Had such an enjoyable stay at Melissa's home. The kitchen was stunning, we cooked a great brunch in the morning before starting our day. The bed in the king bedroom was 10/10, there were plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use, and lots towels too. Melissa responded quickly to my questions as well! We would definitely book again :)

The cottage was lovely and it had a beautiful garden . It was very comfortable staying there . Everything was extremely clean, it had everything that one could want for a stay away from home . I will definitely come back again Sammie was super friendly .

We had a lovely stay.. the house is exactly as pictured with no nasty surprises. Amazing sea view from the master bedroom, with double doors leading onto the balcony. Stef was a great host, very responsive and friendly. Thanks for a lovely stay!

Beautiful house with private garden. it was very comfortable and the host was flexible and accommadating. I would definitely consider returning if I go to Ramsgate again! The beds were very comfy. The only downside was the limited cooking utensils but perfect for a couple of days.

Lovely modern house. Furniture was comfortable. The mattresses were decent, even a friend who sleeps badly said she had one of the best night sleep shes had in a while. Duvets and pillows are good quality (no flat over used bedding). Towels smelt fresh. The kitchen had all we needed. Lovely bathroom with a choice of a shower or bath. Easy to use door fob. Lots of light and big windows. Close to train station but you barely hear rail noises and not intrusive. Depsite being a weekend, hardly heard any people traffic from the station/bus stops. Quick responses from host with clear instructions. A home away from home. Have already booked a revisit for 2026.

my daughter, grandaughter and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The cottage was cosy, comfortable and clean. Although very close to beaches, bars and restaurants, it was still very peaceful. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Beautiful house in a fantastic location. the host was very responsive and helpful, and we had a great weekend there. The only think I would say is the "car park" space at the back is tiny, even for a small car. However the location of the house is great so worth finding a space somewhere nearby, and then walking everywhere after that. Thanks for a lovely stay 😁

This is without doubt the most stunning place I have ever stayed in through Airbnb. The cottage has recently been renovated to an extremely high standard and every detail is perfect and has been carefully thought through. It is comfortable and luxurious but still homely and stocked with everything you need for a home from home stay! It is also in a fantastic location - only a 2 minute walk to the seafront and the town centre. I could not recommend it more highly. Belinda was also extremely helpful and welcoming and very responsive to messages. 11/10! We will definitely be back! thank you Belinda and Thierry.

Helen’s house is all she describes and more, absolutely spotless too! She honestly thought of everything, including for the dogs! It’s a fabulous house, we had an amazing time, The perfect place to celebrate our Anniversary with the family! Great Location and very good restaurant suggestions! We had a wonderful stay at Lorna's house. The views were fantastic, and the home was well-equipped, making it perfect for our family getaway. The welcome basket was a thoughtful touch! Lorna was a very helpful and responsive host, and the location between Herne Bay and Whitstable was ideal. We'd happily return and highly recommend this lovely seaside retreat.

We loved our stay here and would go back again in a heartbeat. The house was beautiful, really clean with many things to do, like board games and a wii, and we especially enjoyed the welcome pack which included a voucher for the very local bakery. Lovely walk to both Joss Bay and Viking bay and only a 12 minute taxi to Margate main sands. The hosts were extremely helpful and quick responders to any issues or questions we had.

Superb for 6 adults and really good for two flexible extra adults who can climb the loft ladder to the two single beds in the family room. Alex was so easy to deal with and will accommodate requests if able to do so. The breakfast platter we organised was a great start to the day - delivered with fresh tea and coffee. We would not hesitate in returning - the area has ample walks, Beach and activities and local pubs to make a week vacation a pleasure

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Damo's place. The description of the accommodation was accurate. It was spacious and suited us perfectly for 4 adults and 2 children. The beds were very comfortable and the conservatory with the dining table was great. The two bathrooms plus an en-suite gave us plenty of options although only one bathroom had a hand held shower. Parking was the only slight issue. There is a car park directly opposite but is not cheap if you are leaving a car there off and on for several days. However we did manage to find a parking space a little further away on the side of the road which was good. Would thoroughly recommend Damo's place as it is peaceful, spacious and in the centre of Sandwich. Thank you.
