Cottage vacation rentals in Clemson

The place was beautiful. The view from the living room/ kitchen of the lake was awesome. The only con I would say was if you struggle with knee problems the walk to and from the lake/dock was rough as it's a climb getting back to the house. My 65 year old father struggled with that, but overall, it was a fantastic place.

The location and space was great. Walkable to local park and other amenities. Space was nice and everything was clean. Well appointed kitchen.

Great 10 year Anniversary destination. We explored the State parks along route 11, visited different waterfalls and kayaked on Lake Jocasstee. The house itself was peaceful and had everything we needed. The sounds of nature and the flowing creek were the perfect way to get to sleep, and wake up to. The nearby twin falls were spectacular and an easy 10-15 minute walk. Like most have said, the only downside was having to leave.

Truly a marvel. We were looking for a quiet mountain hideaway and found it. It had everything we could ask for from kayaks, canoeing, fishing campfire even a s'more stick. Cozy enough for my family and I and close to all the Waterfalls. I am very happy with this place and would be happy to stay again.

A lovely spot on Hartwell. We really enjoyed our time at this lakeside cottage and loved the views of the lake from the screened-in porch. It's perfect for a couples getaway or even a small family. We had everything we needed throughout our stay :) – beds were comfortable, plenty of bath towels were provided, and our hosts really thought of everything. Would absolutely stay at Bryan and Gina's lake home again!

This was the ULTIMATE water sport place to be. I have 3 boys that tore it up like crazy. It felt like every water sport thing you could ever want was there. And the location was phenomenal. My only slight critique is clutter, but I am a minimalist. Highly recommend.

Wow. We will be coming back. We booked this last minute as another Airbnb fell through. I was able to book around 6pm and was able to check in within minutes. The host was so friendly and the house was just perfect. So beautiful! We will be back ❤️❤️❤️ beds comfortable, we saw deer every morning and night outside - so peaceful!!

I loved staying with Thomas. The place was beautiful and peaceful I felt at ease the whole time. The acres were so pretty and it was great seeing all the animals. Thomas was super helpful when I had any questions and quick to respond. I would 100% recommend staying here.

Peter was a great host! His place was immaculate and conveniently located to Seneca and surrounding area. He even left cookies for us. Nice touch!

Great house for fishing. Close to the bait shop and numerous boat docks. nice dock at the house to tie up your boat and fish also.

This place was quite cute. We loved the area and spent a lot of time at South Cove County Park. This is by far the nicest park we have seen. We are from Colorado and spent 1 month at South Cove Cottage and love this area.

Wanda’s place was absolutely amazing! Peaceful and quiet and a nice reading atmosphere. It was nice to know we had a place to go while running around the area for a kids bowling tournament! Everything was exactly as stated and highly recommend Wanda’s place to anyone looking for a great getaway on the water

I have stayed in a variety of Airbnb properties and this is my favorite so far! The location alone is absolutely perfect!! Being able to hike into Table Rock State Park was amazing and the property is very private, so it was everything that I had hoped for (and more). The house itself is exceptional! Everything was spotless and clean, the space was decorated perfectly, and every single detail was thought of. There are wireless phone chargers on each nightstand, a large battery backup system in the living room in case of power outages, snacks and drinks waiting, and walking sticks outside of the door (just to make a few things). On top of all of this, B.T. sets a new standard for Airbnb hosts! He is exceptionally responsive, friendly, and committed to providing a great experience! If I could rate this stay higher than five stars, I would do it without any hesitation.

Was the perfect place for a weekend get away to celebrate our 16 year anniversary! Views were great and the covered dock worked perfect to park our pontoon boat. Would recommend 10/10!!

The home had everything we needed and felt incredibly cozy and comfortable from the moment we walked in. It’s clear that Jon has put a lot of thought into making the space welcoming. We would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a quiet, comfortable retreat!

Great place! It was our son’s Clemson graduation week. We were able to have family time and dinners. The bottom floor has a wonderful bedroom and bathroom along with a garage that has a pool table & corn hole. My college aged sons spent their time down there. The upstairs has the kitchen and living room with two bedrooms and bathroom. As well as a. nice big table to have family dinners. Great communication with hosts Jay & Nikki. We will definitely love to stay there again. This house and the lake are beautiful!

This place was perfect for my husband’s birthday!, we loved that we could bring the dogs and having a fenced in yard was great! The dock and lake access was amazing! We were very comfortable and would love to come back!

If you are looking for a quiet, secluded spot in the S.C. woods, this is it. There are no traffic disturbances (do not even hear cars at cabin) and no light pollution from any towns. However two Walmart stores are less than a half hour drive away(everybody needs Walmart once in a while). There is plenty of parking and the cabin has all the amenities needed. Josh was very helpful with anything we needed. You might even get a visit from their chocolate lab. He came by about three times just to make sure we were ok. He was very friendly and I think he would sit a while and enjoy the peace and quiet with you if you asked him nicely. The accomadations more than met our expectations. I would give it five stars. If we find ourselves heading toward that area again, we would certainly give Josh a call.

I stayed here a week for work. It was the perfect place to come home to every night. I did get to visit Lake Jocassee and Twin Falls on my last day--highly recommend! Matt was great, and the charming little cabin was a peaceful retreat in a gorgeous location! It had everything I needed--even things I didn't know I would need (like poison ivy soap to use as a precaution after I'd been romping around in the wilderness for work)! I'd definitely come back here, whether I'm in the area for work or play.

We stayed for a Clemson football weekend and the house was spectacular! All of us wished we had more time at the house! It’s beautiful and had everything we needed. We loved the surroundings, even got to see some deer in the mornings! Wonderful place and hope to stay again!

Pine island point does not disappoint. canceled a future beach trip and booked a second trip to visit here again before the first trip was even completed. Great place to stay, amazing surroundings, and genuinely hospitable hosts.

A perfect sized get away retreat that has a dock in a quiet cove that remained calm morning to night. Great place to watch the sun rise and set. The host was amazing, with well written and described instructions along with fast responses to any questions. Everything in the house was well maintained and came equipped with the little things that I always forget, like zip locked bags and coffee filters! Thank you, Tony! L

The home was in a very convenient location, and very easy to get to. The Whites were extremely helpful, and very accommodating considering I had a last minute reservation. The house is adorable, and cozy!

We had a long term stay while renovations were made to our house. The cottage is timeless. The kitchen is small but to me it was perfect with the chef’s stove. The cottage itself is full of history. I would sit in the living room trying to imagine the people who walked in the house over the last couple of centuries. Check out the history and explore the grounds and other buildings. There’s a folder with a brief history of the property and local places to explore, restaurants, and other spots of interest. The cities of Westminster, Seneca, and Clemson are nearby. All the people are very friendly and gave us that hometown feeling. We had Christmas while there and our kids loved it too. Walking to the creek was beautiful in the winter. With snow on the ground it was like walking through a post card. One of my favorite things was relaxing on the porch watching the cattle. Durema was so kind and very attentive. She even invited me to coffee which was so nice. We hated to leave.
