Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Clay County

We had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb in Linville, Alabama, and our hosts, Jeff and Theresa, were nothing short of welcoming, loving, and caring. They went above and beyond to ensure our comfort, even providing ice cream for the kids, fresh organic eggs straight from the farm, and chilled water in the refrigerator upon our arrival. We were delighted to have access to their pool at any time, and they made special accommodations for our enjoyment, including beautiful cushions, air floats, and plenty of water paraphernalia. Their lovely home offered spacious rooms, soft mattresses, and all the amenities we could ask for, making it a truly comfortable retreat. This is a must-stay destination, and we will definitely be returning to this Airbnb. The house is phenomenal, and we also enjoyed exploring the charming little town and meeting the wonderful neighbors. Thank you, Theresa and Jeff, for providing such a memorable experience! A hidden gem. I only know about it because I lived there 40 years ago. It is small but big enough to stay comfortably. The hostess was a gem too. Warm, friendly and made everyone feel at home. I highly recommend and hope to go back again.

Great stay for a great price. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit - very clean, quiet location, and supplied with everything we needed! We were also pleasantly surprised to learn the house is actually 3 bedrooms! The host was very friendly and responded quickly. Highly recommend!

We came for an event at Talladega Speedway. Had multiple vehicles & trailers with us, no problems at the house! House was great proximity to stores also!!

Great place to stay if you want to stay outside of town but still be close to do anything you need to do.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful farmhouse! The donkeys on the property were so sweet and I enjoyed spending time with them! The home had so many amenities and the property was beautiful. I would definitely stay here again!

We absolutely loved this place. It’s like stepping back in time, every turn offers something new. From the sitting areas to the claw foot tub, the charmingly small second kitchen and a comfortable bed we could not have been happier. THE place to stay in Talladega. The hosts are absolutely wonderful! Do yourself a favor and visit with them and allow them to show you a work in progress. Down to earth people who aren’t afraid to get their hands dirty. A part of their heart, sweat and tears went into this place and it shows. We’ve stayed in several airbnbs. This is a definite fave! We will be back! Oh and breakfast is to die for!!!!

We had a great stay at this place . It is very spacious and at a great location too ! The end room (the master) was not warm enough to sleep on the first night . The weather got better on the second day so we could sleep in that room the second night . May be if the host could check on the air vent or heaters for that room that would make the stay warm and cozy when the weather outside gets crazy cold . Other than that everything else was nice !

Keenan was a great host and very responsive

This is our second time in one of Shauna’s places and once again, we loved everything about it. I especially loved the perfect view of the beautiful courthouse and the square that I have loved my entire life. We enjoyed walking around the square, visiting the shops and enjoying all the local restaurants. The best was walking to the coffee shop every morning and bringing a coffee back to enjoy while enjoying the perfect view from our room. “Close Quarters” was so clean and comfy and beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. Shauna was friendly, helpful and responsive as always. We look forward to staying again sometime.

This place was renovated beautifully. Absolutely perfect to include the historic photos and the framed write-up above the typewriter in the second bedroom about Mr. Kitchens and his office. Everything needed for our stay was available to us...dishes, towels, linens...and in pristine condition. Having laundry access was just above and beyond our expectations. We would definitely stay here again and also recommend to others looking for somewhere to stay in town. Our finest compliments to our host.
