You’ll feel like you’re in a treehouse with the forest out your back window and the beach out your front window. This is the perfect writer or surfers retreat! My Finnish Studio

My Finnish Cabin is a cozy studio size dwelling with a full size bed, kitchenette including fridge, microwave, hot plate, toaster oven and coffee maker and a walk in tile shower. The dwelling sits in a private alcove behind my home. I'm located on the south slope of the Astoria hill, slightly over a mile from downtown Astoria. Privacy of my guests is important so there is a private walkway and entrance to the cabin. An outside sitting area is available. I welcome guests from all backgrounds.

Stevens, Hammond marina, jaunts to Astoria, Seaside, as well as everything else the area has to offer. And did we say, wildlife is abundant!

There are no cooking appliances except for an electric tea kettle and coffee maker. Our neighborhood is nestled between two state parks and we are a 3 blocks to the beach. We are in rural coastal forested county with gravel roads.

Enter with your passcode and you'll be welcomed by the parlor’s 10-foot ceilings. Your river view, two-bedroom suite, shower/bath and laundry are up the stairs. This landmark home was built in 1875 and is named for Captain Eric Johnson, a Swedish immigrant and riverboat pilot. The kitchenette has a microwave, mini fridge, hot pot and coffee maker.
