Lovely home within 10 minutes of the horse show grounds. Two kids and two adults were very comfortable One of the upstairs ACs wasn’t as strong but it still worked. Might want to consider fixing. Overall an outstanding stay.

The River house was a great stay! We had our six kids with us and the house had all the things we needed for water fun and toys inside. We kayaked and went birding - saw an Eagle and Osprey show down over a fish which was super cool, the kids saw wild turkeys one morning! The house had everything we needed and the shed was a big help for the outdoor fun. The screened in porch had a ceiling fan which made it so nice to relax out there this June. The privacy is really wonderful around the house. We definitely want to come back!

Stayed in Pat’s place for a long weekend and it was absolutely perfect. I don’t think we’ve stayed in any other place as well-prepared for guests—it had everything we could have possibly needed during our stay. The property was just as beautiful as the pictures and was like a home away from home. Pat was also a great host from the time booked until checkout, providing plenty of local recommendations and checking in to make sure our stay was perfect. Highly recommended!

So many great things to say about this place and Brian was very communicative about this property. Perfect for families with furbabies!

My sister was visiting from Canada so we decided to head to Virginia to hit some wineries and breweries. We had a lovely stay at Elizabeth’s place! It looked just like the photos, was clean and cozy, and a perfect place to unwind at the end of the night with a glass of wine. The hosts texted us recommendations of stuff to do in the area and we had an amazing time. Great couch and TV set up, very comfortable beds, and beautiful wooded surroundings. Highly recommend for any trip to the area!

Michele was a very courteous and responsive host. The house is charming with a great yard and nice street for a dog to walk. The house has an attached bedroom up 5 stairs with a queen bed that is best for anyone with trouble climbing the very old, narrow steep staircase but does require a short walk outside to get into main house for the bathroom. The master bedroom upstairs is very comfortable but does have a bedroom you walk thru with a trundle and twin bed. We used the outside stairs to bypass walking thru the adjoining bedroom when we got up. There are many doorways that are just barely 6 ft (lots of ducking), both bathroom showers are also only 6 ft tall which means the shower head is lower. One enters the dining room where we spent most of our time with a puzzle, then you walk through the kitchen which is also about 6 ft tall to enter the 3 living rooms and staircase for bedrooms. House has all amenities with puzzles, cards, books, first aid. Great local recommendations!

We really enjoyed our stay in this house and Suranny was very responsive and helpful. The house was clean as can be and very spacious. Lots of natural sunlight and a wonderful covered porch to sit out on. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms were clean. We would certainly stay here again in the future.

Fantastic, private cabin that is secluded while still being an easy drive to town. Our dog loved the trails on property. Jaclyn is a great host and was very responsive when a thunderstorm knocked out power for a few hours during our stay. We definitely hope to come back in the future!

I thought the place was perfect! Judy stocked the mini-fridge with awesome breakfast items to include bagels and cream cheese! From sitting outside to relaxing inside was just a great time. Their pup was the best! She would greet me every morning while having coffee…sweet girl! Would I stay there again…absolutely! Judy is an awesome host!

We enjoyed our stay immensely. The house was well appointed and very private. The views were so incredible to wake up to, and the sunsets were stunning. There was a-lot to do nearby as well as at the Airbnb. We had a great time and hope to visit again!

This was such a wonderful home! As other reviewers said, lots of room for a big group to spread out. We had 8 guests. (6 adults and two kids) We explored Harpers Ferry and enjoyed hiking the Maryland Heights Trail. We felt absolutely comfortable hanging at this serene house for our mornings and evenings. Cooked most of our meals, played billiards, sang karaoke, and enjoyed the plunge pool. We had an epic round of hide and go seek. Great interior design and lots of space to spread out for quiet time, and many perfect reading nooks. Thanks Leigh, for being so responsive and friendly!

Excellent host. Very clean place, beautiful property. Laura was amazing. It was like staying with a good friend. We bought some of her eggs and delicious honey. We would definitely stay there again. My wife and I and our fur babies will miss Laura, Jerald, and Dasher.

I needed a place that my family, from out of state, could stay while attending a graduation. The house was perfect! I told Bob what I wanted to do and he was encouraging and helpful. He made sure we had propane for grilling and answered all my questions. He was very prompt when I reached out to him. We had an amazing time. I would stay there again.

The Herb Cottage is beautifully situated on the Hidden Creek Farm. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the animals move through the fields. I reserved the cabin because it was conveniently located near a dinner we were attending, abut we will return for the peaceful beauty of the farm. We slept soundly in the comfortable bed and woke to the sound of birds softly singing. If it rains while you are there, do not miss the opportunity to rock in the porch chairs and relax to the tune of raindrops drops on the metal roof.

If you read the reviews from others who stayed here...they were SPOT ON! Lynn's carriage house is like stepping into an immaculate barndominium. You feel like you are prepping for your fox hunt or what my wife and I did, enjoy a tea or glass of wine in the evenings watching the deer come through the fields or the horses in the far fields graze. PEACEFUL. The house has everything you need from coffee, tea, sweeteners, to spices and pots and pans. Come here to relax. Last, the pool on the listing is at the main house. Never did we feel like it wasn't our own private oasis. So cool to enjoy the pool surrounded by horse properties. Lynn is an excellent host. This is an incredible property.

This place is tucked into a little peace of heaven. Very peaceful and easy to get to. The interior is nicely designed, furnishings are comfortable. The kitchen has a little eat in area with plenty of space to sit and chat, eat, play board games, or cook. I loved that the bedrooms were upstairs so if someone wanted to sleep, it’s quiet enough to do that. The upstairs is quite sound proof. There’s also a nice little tv area upstairs between the two rooms. The rooms have plenty of space to store clothes if you are staying longer. The outside area also has a picnic table and grill which would be nice when staying in the warmer months. The hosts were very kind and responsive. They answered any questions we had quickly. I highly recommend this place and hope to stay again when we come back.

The whole property and buildings exceeded expectations. My family were in town for an engagement party and stayed at High Meadows Estate for a long weekend. The Manor House was beautifully and tastefully decorated, with high end touches and plenty of space for a large group. Everyone had a great time and enjoyed this peaceful retreat. Outdoors there is plenty of space to walk around, enjoy the fire pit, and play yard games. We will definitely be returning. Thank you for such a great stay.

We had a large group and the amenities like screening room with a sectional and large kitchen island for serving food was perfect.

Our family has a great stay here. It was setup well for a family with small children. The cottage was clean, the kitchen was well stocked. Historic charming village is very walkable. We enjoyed dinner at the tavern down the street. Hosts were responsive and friendly.

This cabin is a fantastic get away for some peace and quiet. Matt was a fantastic host and very accommodating. I highly recommend staying at any of Matt's properties. The cabin was very clean, very comfortable and had everything we needed!

This was our second stay in the cottage. I come to town regularly for work and love staying on the mountain. So charming with everything you would need and they love our 4 legged babies. My husband loves the comfortable mattress and now wants to buy the same one.

What an absolutely stunning all around host to house! This house is forever saved, and I will be coming back with the family!
