Vacation rentals with a kayak in Clarion River

It's been wonderful time we spent with our family, we truly loved how you arranged your entire house almost everything is very much reachable. We went to your backyard and did quick trial to collect wood for campfire. I appreciate your prompt response on all queries, your suggestion on boat ride was amazing we truly enjoyed. I'm sure we will come back. Thank you .

The pictures were beautiful, but seeing is believing. A comfy lake house with anything you could ask for. clear instructions, a manual with the house rules and instructions for check out. The bottom floor has ample room with a bar area, access to the back yard and beautiful views of the late. Having a laundry room was a great touch. The ground floor, where most of the rooms were located, has a family room with board games, ample space for sitting, eating with a group and cozy for watching movies. I was extremely impressed that they had a PS3 with Little Big Planet, we played that for hours after dinner. I highly recommend this beautiful home by the lake and will book again when I’m in town next season.

This is the fourth time my friends and I stayed at the house. We are between 67-86 years old. The lodge and surrounding are beautiful. The only things that we have to bring was food, everything else was provided. We have gone for a boat ride, swimming , fishing, walks,and many others things. Mary Anne takes care of every single detail.

Your first impression when you arrive at the house is “this is cute 🙂”. Then you walk inside and it’s WOW! I’m not sure if I’ve ever stayed at a cleaner place . It was immaculate ! The river view was pretty. The house has everything you need , please don’t take for granted the hosts generosity ! Toothpaste , shampoo , they had everything you need if you forgot yours ! lol it was a perfect home base for our weekend kayak adventures . Son of a gun if I did ask one thing of Jen ! lol in this Awful rainy miserable spring , I asked her for one day of sun ! We had a perfect weekend the weather was beautiful !! Please don’t book here lol I want it available for our next Alleghany adventure . It’s a great place. Even the babies owls that dive bombed us at our evening fire was awesome !

This place was great, we enjoyed the yard, all of the game, and the beautiful house. Every detail was well thought out. We would definitely recommend this house and we hope to be back in the future!

Beautiful setting even in the winter. Well stocked kitchen. The mudroom was very helpful. Ample TVs and places to relax- internet was great. Great communication with host, very responsive to any needs or questions.

Bryan was great and his place was perfect. We have 8 guys for a golf trip and it was a perfect location. Will definitely be back in the future.

Ryan is meticulous about his property. The kitchen is well stocked. The beds are excellent. Everything worked. Ryan is also a great communicator. I am a pittsburgher that has been coming to Franklin for years staying in different Airbnb’s and Ryan’s is the best. James lange

Miranda's home was the perfect place for a family getaway. The house was clean and spacious and had everything we were looking for in a vacation home

Wow. The setting is breathtaking. The river is directly in front of the cabin, you walk down some grassy areas and across a tiny road. There was an eagle nest directly in view of the massive porch. The rooms are all big, the seating is comfortable. We were able to use the sit-on kayaks and life vests in the basement, which provided days of fun. The fire pit is awesome. The giant boulders are really pretty and natural and we had great burns there. Wood is on site for purchase, which was really convenient. $6/bundle. We all caught bass right out front! There is a trampoline that the child went nuts for. I recommend bringing drinking water even though it is drinkable. the well does have a smell, which i understand is normal. The kitchen is stocked pretty well.

This was our third stay in a year and we all had a great time again. We saw lots of animals and enjoyed watching the eagle catch his breakfast every morning. The house has everything you could possibly need and Jane, as always, was an incredible host.

Our host was great to work with, responsive when we had issues (out of their control, not related to their service) and helped us walk through the steps of a later check out. Assisted when we had questions and were incredibly kind. If you're ever in the area, especially for Groundhog Day festivities, I strongly recommend this location for you, a guest, and possibly a furry friend.

This place is amazing for anyone wanting a private outdoor paradise. The place includes everything you could possibly need for a short or extended stay, with outdoor games, stocked pond with kayaks/ boats, creek in the backyard, and expansive outdoor area. The cabin was comfortable and well-appointed. I’ll definitely be back again!

Beautiful cabin with a big backyard and incredible fire pit. We had perfect weather for our stay so most of our time spent out on the covered porch in the rocking chairs or meals at the outdoor table. Comfortable beds & clean bathroom. Outdoor shower came in handy with our group. We rented the rustic cabin for sleeping. It’s tiny but the extra beds accommodated our group. Jackie is an excellent host. Always quick to respond to questions and allow us to add an extra day & early check in on short notice. Enjoyed our stay!
