Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chuo Ward

Having stayed at Osaka, Furano, and Asahikawa this trip, it was a relief stepping into Yamada and Maya's home. Every item was labelled with great care, and there was ample space for my 7 year old boy and 1.5 year old toddler. The house was designed with careful planning - from the living area to the bedrooms, the washroom and bathroom. It was easy to move around from a functional point of view. After travelling for a week with 2 young kids, we felt so comfortable knowing every corner was thoughtfully planned out. They even prepared a toddler stool, and set up a toy area in one of the bedrooms! I'm comforted by their hospitality in this home away from home. We rested well, and would book this place again if we were to return.

What a perfect spot to stay for my family’s winter vacation! The snow was epic! The local resort, Kokusai is great and Rusutsu and Niseko are also a bit further on to explore. The studio’s central location is walkable to good restaurants and numerous beautiful onsens. It’s clean, warm and comfortable and had everything we needed. Neil was a fantastic source of local knowledge, which was very helpful in the authentic town of Jozankei Onsen. Highly recommend this place!

A great place to stay in Sapporo! The listing photos and description were accurate, the place was clean, and the host was very responsive to messages. Note for those with mobility issues: the unit is located on the second floor, with a somewhat narrow set of stairs up.

This house is perfect for my family of 6. With kids and elderly. It has every we need. I especially love the laundry room.

My family of 12 had a wonderous stay recently for its cleanliness, spaciousness , convenient location with some good eateries nearby. Will highly recommend this place to people who are looking for a stay at Sapporo as its also quite near to a few attractions e.g. Shiroi Koibito Park, Hokkaido Shrine (self-drive), and the hosts are very responsive in answering all our queries too 👍👍

There were also changes in the number of people, but thank you for being flexible.　 The room was very clean and I had a relaxing stay as if I was at home.　 Access was also convenient, about 10 minutes to the station!

Yoshie's home was a wonderful stay. The house was very clean and well-stocked with useful supplies and plenty of complimentary snacks! It's also very close to a grocery store, Laweson, and Yamato office for luggage forwarding. Yoshie was also very helpful, offering to drive us to a nearby station both at check-in and check-out and giving us advice on efficient trains.

Quiet surroundings, spacious, close proximity to the train station - making it convenience to the main attractions and to the airport. The host is responsive and even added a warm welcome note - handwritten on a chalkboard, greatly appreciate the wonderful gesture. Thank you

I really enjoyed staying at this apartment. The instructions were clearly communicated and it looks as advertised. The parking worked well and going to Susukino is doable in 10-15 minutes on foot. If you‘ve stayed in Japanese apartments before everything should be clear and otherwise there are instructions for everything. The shower water temperature sometimes went cold suddenly while it was on but turning it off and on again helped so it didn’t bother me really. I‘d definitely want to stay again when coming back in the future.

This time, 5 of us, parents in their 70s, a mom in her 40s, and children aged 3 and 5, stayed together. There was a supermarket nearby, and I was able to use the cooking utensils and condiments in the room, so it was helpful to be able to eat fresh seafood and meat in the room rather than eating out with my children. I was happy that drip coffee, green tea packs, and water were served! I suddenly wanted to do laundry, and it was helpful to have a single use of detergent! It was cheap, clean, and relaxing, so it was very good.

It was easy to find and cleanly maintained, so it was pleasant to stay.It was nice to have a comfortable and convenient time.

The unit/apartment is very safe. It was near the train station,supermarket,7/11. The space is clean and big. The toilet and shower area is clean. I feel home during my stay .Host is responsive everytime I have question.

I am so satisfied. Thanks to you, I had a good trip for 3 nights and 4 days. I'd like to visit again if I get a chance.

Excellent location, spacious accommodations with nice views. Host initiated contact early on and leading up to our arrival. Host also provided local recommendations and directions for shopping, restaurants and attractions. Flexible check-in options of in-person or automated lock box. We had automated lock box and the detailed instructions provided made it very easy to retrieve keys. Totally enjoyed our stay.

My family stayed a week and a half at Tomoko & Homun’s place and it was a good decision. It was a short walk away from Nakajima Park which we loved. Konbinis and grocery stores as well as restaurants were within walking distance. (Tip: look for Soup Curry Bar DAN.) If the weather is good, it’s a nice walk to Susukino and Odori, maybe even Sapporo Station if you’re looking for a bit of exercise! (We tried this with our young kids.) Most of out day trips required taking the JR train from Sapporo station which meant a subway ride from Nakajimakoen to Sapporo, but it was not an inconvenience (just a few minutes). The place itself was very roomy, and we loved the huge glass windows that let in the sunlight, and the windows in each room that let in the cool breeze. It was very comforting to come home to this place after our day adventures. We would love to stay again when we come back to Sapporo.

Nice apartment, short walk to the city. The place is exactly what you see in the pics. Haru was very helpful and responsive. We’d love to stay here again if we visit Sapporo.

This was our first time visiting Otaru, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay! The location is perfect—just a short walk from the train station and an easy stroll to the main streets of Otaru. Every morning, we could hear the sound of the steam clock and music in the distance, which made the atmosphere feel so peaceful and beautiful. It’s also very close to convenience stores and everything else we needed. We really loved our stay here and would definitely come back!

The room was actually bigger than I expected. Everything is super clean and the room was very nice. It was facing the ocean and I bet it would’ve looked even better during the winter. I also really appreciated having a bath that’s also facing that view.

I liked that the bedding was clean, the location was close to the main street, and I liked that I could see the canal from the veranda, and the host was kind.

We had a great stay, was a prime crashpd for backcountry missions 👌

This was easily one of the best Airbnb’s we’ve ever stayed in. Beautiful 3 bed / 3 bath unit that perfectly matched the pictures from the listing. It snowed for the first few days of our stay (no complaints here as this was a ski trip), but on a clear day you are greeted with a beautiful view of Mt Yotei from the living room & back porch. We made great use of the kitchen making breakfast each morning before heading to the mountains, and then most nights we would walk to / around Hirafu village for great food, drinks, and entertainment. Highly recommend staying at Aspect, you won’t be disappointed. Thanks again for playing a major part in what was the best ski vacation of our lives.

CP is 200%, enjoy it very much, more thoughtful design than many hotels, and I highly recommend coming here for a relaxing vacation!

A lovely little spot only 10 minutes walk to town centre. Helpful to have a car if you are skiing. Great apartment with picture window view of Yotei. Stephanie was very friendly and helpful too. Highly recommend.
