It is about 70 minutes by JR Tambaji Express from Osaka, and about 20 minutes by car from there.The place name is pronounced "Hiuchiwan".It is an old house built in 1940 (Showa 15).You can relax in a quiet place.We don't have a TV, but the free Wi-Fi is fast.If you have a car, you can park up to 2 cars up to 2 meters high in the garage.If you are not coming by car, we will pick you up from JR Sasayamaguchi Station and take you to the nearby supermarket.Other pick-up and drop-off services are available on an ad hoc basis.The washer and dryer are available for free.There is a freezer in the refrigerator.There is a welcome 〇 〇.Stay tuned.Feel free to use the dishes provided.It is a quiet residential neighborhood, so please do not make loud noises, especially after 9 pm.We are always careful to prevent insects, but there are some because there are mountains behind the house surrounded by nature.We will deal with it promptly.It is a convenient location because it is about a 15-minute drive to the center of the city.It is close to the famous Suwashi Dam, which is close to the Taki Mountains and where you can take home famous water.Please use it as a base for mountain climbing and adult excursions.I have been working in hotels for about 20 years and will take care of you during your stay.Thank you in advance.

So we can guide you local events or place, also take you to meet locals. Also we do several renovation work, so you can join in Japnaese traditional house renovation workshop. We have 2 kids and 1 cat living in the house. so if you have any allergy, please tell us beforehand.we will bring cat to another house.

Our guesthouse is in a beautiful mountain village, near to it are pristine forests with beech trees and an ancient mountain path that was used to carry sea products from Japan sea to Kyoto in old days. In front of the guesthouse runs a stream that is a source of Lake Biwa and its water is crystal clear ; in early summer nights many fireflies fly over the stream. In winter, we have a lot of snow ; sometimes it reaches 2 meters from the ground! On clear nights you can enjoy the sky full of stars.
