Vacation rentals in Christian Valley

We had a lovely stay at Galleon Beach! The location is secluded enough that you can really slow down and relax, while close enough to English Harbour if you feel inclined to go out for dinner or find a cozy dockside bar. Feel like staying in? The Loose Cannon restaurant is also steps from the front door and the cottage has a small kitchen as well. We were greeted with a complimentary bottle of rum punch - such a nice touch! The room was comfortable and clean. The reception staff (Talia and Jewel) were very helpful in offering restaurant and excursion recommendations as well. The unit is also a short walk from amazing hiking trails leading up to Shirley Heights and the Southernmost Point of Antigua and Barbuda, with the stunning Hercules Pillars right around the corner.

We absolutely LOVED the place and it felt like home from the moment we arrived. Everything was perfect and we didn't miss anything at the house, from the comfiest bed to sleep at to super handy mosquito repellent - Briony has thought of everything. She has also been super responsive and had great recommendations for where to eat or what to see. Thank you Briony and Ross for all, hopefully we will manage to come back! 🫶🏼

We had a wonderful time in Andrews Sugar Cottage. It is very nice cottage in a calm setting surrounded by a green garden and jungle sounds. We didnt meet him or his assistant in person but the communication and service was flawless - we were even greeted with a fruit basket and a starter pack, thanks! We enjoyed the big terrace a lot and are already looking back to evenings just waiting for the sun to go down and listening to the island sounds. There is also the lovely house dog Mango - very friendly and attentive. There are also other dogs in this area so there is some barking going on during the day. Be aware of the mosquitos and get used to carry the provided mosquito bats along. You will also need a car to get to all the beaches, restaurants and sights. We highly recommend the cottage for people who want to stay away from the big resorts and feel more like a local. We loved it and would definitely book again. I had a very comfortable and pleasant stay at Cammile’s place. From the moment I arrived, she was warm, welcoming, and always accessible. There was even a moment when I thought I misplaced my key late at night, and she responded quickly and calmly, which I truly appreciated as a first-time Airbnb guest. The location is one of the biggest highlights, it’s right in the centre of the island, so getting around was a breeze. Most places I wanted to visit were only about a 30-minute drive away, which made exploring super convenient. The space itself was clean, quiet, and peaceful, with no disturbance from neighbors. Both Cammile and her daughter were respectful of my privacy, yet responsive whenever I reached out for assistance or information. The value for money was definitely there. I felt right at home. Thank you.

A lovely place in a quiet neighbourhood. Neil and Alincia communicated well before and throughout our stay. A simple accommodation with a great pool, terrace and gorgeous view. Is as seen on photos so you know what you’re getting. Has everything you need inc hairdryer, iron, hot shower, tea, coffee etc! Would recommend having a car to get around from here. Would stay here again. Thanks!

Silvia is a friendly and responsive host. We were met with a lovely warm welcome. The apartment was as described, with plenty of place for two, and well equipped for our stay. The highlight of our stay had to be the most incredible views from the balcony where you could watch the sun setting every evening. No photos prepared us for that. Our experience of exploring the area - Epicurean supermarket, 20min walk well stocked and with a hot food counter as well. Sun Fusion the closest restaurant, had a local menu which was good, and we also enjoyed the ice cream selection they had. Valley Church Beach was approx a 10 min walk, Ffyes Beach 15 mins (our favourite in the area) and we did walk to Darkwood Beach 25 mins (but wouldn't recommend as it's a long walk in the heat and on a relatively busy road side. ) The local buses were easy and inexpensive to use, and we used them to get to St Johns. However if you wish to travel further, I would recommend hiring a rental car.

We had a fantastic stay! The place was spacious, spotless, and felt just like home. The AC worked perfectly and kept the entire space nice and cool, which was a huge plus during these summer days. Everything was very clean and well-maintained, and the layout made it easy to relax and unwind. The host was incredibly responsive and helpful—quick to reply and made sure we had everything we needed. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone looking for a comfortable and stress-free experience!

What a beautiful place to stay. We had a wonderful week at Nicole’s place, everything was delightful from the breathtaking views from the balcony to the pool to the cottage itself. Nicole was friendly, kind and helpful from first to last. Our fan wasn’t working when we arrived and she immediately replaced it. We hired a car which was handy for getting around - would definitely recommend driving for ease of access, just to note parking is on a slope. It’s quite near St John’s and the airport as well as Dickinson and the other northern beaches. About 40 mins drive to English Harbour and the other side of the island. But everywhere is so close and easy to get to, we ended up spending time all over the island. Fully recommend anyone coming to Antigua to stay here, we loved it.
