Beachfront vacation rentals in Chora

Questa casetta tradizionale di grande fascino è un piccolo gioiello. L'arredamento è semplice ma c'è tutto il necessario e l'atmosfera è davvero speciale. Ci siamo sentiti subito a casa! La terrazza sul porto è meravigliosa in ogni momento della giornata, la spiaggia di sabbia dorata è sotto casa e dietro l'angolo c'è una caletta fantastica per fare snorkeling con scogli piatti e una scaletta per un facile accesso. Qui tutto è a pochi passi: un piccolo supermercato, un bar sulla spiaggia con ottimo caffè espresso freddo e un paio di taverne. Per raggiungere la Chora ed ammirare il tramonto c'è un comodissimoservizio autobus. Consigliamo il giro in barca con 'Nemo' che parte dal molo di fronte a casa e il bar Soulatzo nella Chora per apericena indimenticabili. Eva è stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile.

Nous avons passé un magnifique séjour dans cette maison qui est très agréable à vivre. C'est la maison parfaite pour se ressourcer et elle est située à 20 mètres d'une des plus belles plages de l'ile.

Eleni’s place is absolutely lovely. Even nicer in real life than the photos. My parents stayed in the separate room with en suite and my partner and l and our three young children (5 and two 1 year olds) shared the main house and it was perfect for us. Nice airy rooms and immaculately clean. The terrace is absolutely lovely - we never tired of the view. Eleni was such a good host - so accommodating as we waited to confirm our ferry times (they were not every day in May) and when our return ferry was cancelled. We followed her recommendations and had a lovely dinner at Kapari and lunch at Soulasto. We hiked to Episkopi and also visited the vineyard at sunset. We didn’t hire a car - relying on the reliable, if a little infrequent, bus service and occasionally a taxi. But mostly we walked the short distance to the beach which is lovely and perfect for children with its shallow waters and sand. We had such a good holiday and would highly recommend.

Great house, location and host very responsive

We absolutely loved our stay. Such an incredible property with expansive views and a beautiful rock beach. Once we figured out how to walk to the main beach town by the coastal path, walking to meals became quite easy!

Manganari is so great

Simply the best place to stay in Ios. It offers the best of both worlds: the privacy and comfort of a hotel, coupled with the personalized touch of private accommodation. From the moment you step inside, you feel like part of the family, with every need promptly attended to.

It was a great location. Amazing view from the shared front porch. Great location a short walk from Milopotas beach and Chora. The hostess that worked with us was great (Mrs Marrousa). She was kind, and when we took her up on her offer to ask for help, she was extremely helpful. Not only gave us recommendations of places to go, but even helped us get reservations for dinner and a day boat trip when we were having issues with it. The space itself is very minimal but it's all you need since you're spending most of your day at the beach or around town. AC made everything very comfortable. Tiny bathroom but did the job. And definitely go to Pathos for sunset. Totally worth it.

Carole de Montréal, Québec, Canada Séjour de 4 nuits Ce que je retiens d'Anatoli Studios, c'est l'hospitalité grecque authentique. À notre arrivée, on nous sert une liqueur produite localement. Le personnel veille à ce que nous soyons heureux et fait tout son possible pour que notre séjour soit agréable. Séjourner à Anatoli Studios, c'est comme être dans un resort. Tout est sur place pour nous plaire : leur propre restaurant où Katherina, la propriétaire, nous cuisine de bons plats, une piscine d'eau de mer, ainsi que deux plages à environ 150 mètres à pied de Anatoli. Bien que l'on dise qu'à Schinoussa tout se fait à pied pour se rendre à la Chora, lorsqu'il y a une vague de chaleur comme celle que j'ai connue, il vaut mieux avoir un véhicule pour se déplacer aisément sur l'île. J'ai loué un vélo électrique une journée et c'était agréable, bien qu'il faille être très prudent sur les routes en gravier. N'oubliez pas d'apporter du chasse-moustiques.

I would recommend this place to anyone coming to Ios. On a beautiful beach with amazing hosts. East to get back and forth to the town. 10/10 stay and I will return if I come back to Ios.

The bnb of Marousa and Antonis is the ultimate ideal location in Ios: if it weren’t for a couple buildings, you will be directly on the beach, one minute walking distance away. Spacious room and a huge veranda, comfy bed. Also a nice pool, and amazing food on sale made by the hosts. Not to miss: the Greek salad. I’ve never tasted olives of such unique taste. Best moment of the day: the early morning from the veranda, with the early boats, flying bees and chirping birds, framed by a luscious flowerbed on the canopy. A rare find.

True gem of a place! We had a wonderful week in Magganari. Perfect location, a short walk from a beautiful sand beach and another and another. The waters are cycladic gold. Our space was equipped with everything we could have asked for. The rooms were impeccable. Amazing courtyard. Gorgeous star-filled skies. Our hosts were the best of hosts, always there for our odd request and great conversation in the morning at the beach. We loved it.

I was extremely pleased with my stay in Ios and George was a great host. He picked and dropped us off from the port which was extremely valuable provided the port is a good 20min walk from the accomodation. The accommodation provided everything we could need and was in a picturesque location with a nearby beach. Would 100% recommend for anyone looking to visit ios.

Wir haben den Aufenthalt in Maritas Studio sehr genossen. Es ist mit allem ausgestattet was man benötigt. Marita hat uns zur Begrüßung auch Wasser, Wein, Brot, Feta etc. bereitgestellt. Die Terrasse ist traumhaft und man kann abends wunderbar den Sternenhimmel genießen. Die Unterkunft liegt an einem sehr schönen Strand, weitere Strände sind in ca. 20-30 Minuten gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Auch das schöne Städtchen ist gut zu Fuß erreichbar. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und können die Unterkunft von Marita wärmstens empfehlen.

Nice location by the beach and lots of restaurants in the area! The house itself was very nice and so was the outside area. Minna was a great host, she was very helpful. Would love to come back in the future :)

We had the most amazing time. The situation of the accommodation was perfect. Ios port is bustling but quiet. We loved the beach bars and restaurants. Everyone we met was so welcoming and friendly. We hired quad bikes & took a boat trip. It was affordable to eat out. We ventured up to the village for one night of partying. The contrast between the port and village is stark. Ios has a party reputation but it’s possible to have a very chilled beach holiday in the port area without ever having to be part of the party scene. The beaches are just stunning!

L’emplacement de l’appartement est magnifique, avec vue sur la mer et une plage accessible à pied en contrebas de la petite route. La plage est calme et belle. L’appartement est entièrement rénové, joli, agréable, bien équipé et confortable avec une belle terrasse aérée pour manger. Nous avons adoré le calme, la beauté des lieux, l’aspect authentique du village, où on mange très bien. Argyris a toujours répondu rapidement à nos questions. Nous avons loué une petite moto chez Maria pour se déplacer, ce qui est recommandé car l’île est tout en pentes et les routes petites. C’était facile et agréable. Prévoir un taxi pour vous mener du bateau au logement à l’arrivée. Nous rêvons de retourner dans cette maison!

Martial was an incredible host, lovely recommendations, proactive and great communication. The place was also incredible, clean and feel just like home.
