Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Chinandega

Our family’s stay was spectacular! Nice short walk to the beach where we learned how to surf. Plenty of local bars and restaurants close by where we enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Everyone we met was helpful and friendly. The property is clean and well cared for. Steve was responsive to our questions. Relaxing poolside at the home with great sunset views (and the occasional horse passing by in the distance) will be a lasting memory for us all.

The apartment is quiet and beautiful! The equipment is excellent and especially the garden an oasis. Alma was super nice. Thank you!

Great place and location! Hard to locate and AC only in the bedrooms so it was very hot in rest of the house the first night. The mangos falling on the tin roofs sound like gun shots. Hosts were quick to respond. Would stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. A great indoor and outdoor space. The outdoor space has the sunshine all day! Kitchen had everything you could possibly need (oil, salt, pepper etc). Cristhell was super responsive and really helpful with whatever we needed. Great place to stay in Leon!

Casa Amarilla was the perfect place for our family of five to stay by the coast. The house is spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed, including a great kitchen to prepare meals. Ivona sent plenty of information and responded to all our queries. The couple who live on site at the other end of the garden were welcoming and super helpful. We loved watching and hearing all the birds that flew through the palm and jícaro trees all day. 100m to a beautiful stretch of beach that we had to ourselves most of the time. Paradise!

We are a Canadian couple who stayed in Drew's house for 2 weeks this February to surf the nearby breaks. From the very beginning, Drew was extremely helpful in answering all of our questions about the area. Drew is very responsive and always there to help. We had a wonderful and peaceful stay at Drew's house. It was cool during the hot days and even though you are right in Asseradores it is a secluded and private property. There is an amazing bakery only a few minutes away too for fresh sourdough and cinnamon buns. Highly recommend.

5 stars wouldn’t be enough to describe my experience in Nicaragua but specifically at Rommel’s place. From the welcoming perspective, the cleanliness and the owner’s attitude all were impeccable. I couldn’t be more satisfied and grateful to Rommel who made his home available to me and catered to my every need. Marlon was a great host, very responsive! The space was great, clean, spacious and the pool was perfect for the simmering weather! You need a capable vehicle to access the property as it is very steep, but it’s worth the climb, the view is unmatched!

We really enjoyed our stay at Piero’s place! The staff was very helpful, the room was very clean and comfortable, and is within walking distance to everything in Leon. We would come again!

Safe place, we could have our motorcycles stored. The place is small but worked fine, air conditioning was lovely and efficient. There were no opportunities to cook some food that we missed. But despite that, it was a great stay and would love to come back.

Good location good host easy check in and good communication. The house is well equipped and lots of little extras like suntan lotion bug repellent and bug killer with washer and dryer. AC in the bedrooms was good. Only thing to note is that the bedrooms are not private from each other so you have to enter one bedroom through the other bedroom and for 2 couples it was not private. It would be ok for families.

great location, in town but quiet, and super clean and we'll decorated! guests should know that the house has windows that look into a courtyard of another house and that the blinds/curtains are somewhat see through. there wasn't anyone staying there but it doesn't provide a great deal of privacy. overall great for a couple days exploring Leon

Although we didn’t stay at Martha’s due to an unfortunate change of plans not allowing us to cross into Nicaragua from Costa Rica - she was very accommodating and understood that we may need to rebook. She was quick to reply and very kind - I will stay here once we make it into Nicaragua.
