Cottage vacation rentals in Chimay

We really enjoyed our stay at Olivier's house. Everything was very stylish. The kitchen was equipped with everything you need and the entire house in an immaculately clean condition. The fireplace and hot tub were our personal highlight. Olivier was very friendly, always responded quickly and was very flexible when it came to our checkout time. The bedrooms were also cozy (we only had a little trouble with the mattress from the left bedroom). It is a clear recommendation and we would certainly like to come back :)

Our stay went very well. The house is superb, spacious and well-equipped. We were able to enjoy the Nordic bath and sauna without any problems. Sandrine is very responsive and flexible on requests. I would recommend it 100%.

We had a very nice week. Enough space for 4 adults and 2 kids. Everything we needed. Enjoyed the hot tub. And fun activities and walks in the surroundings. Steven was quick to respond if needed. The dishwasher was broken but a new one was installed a day later. Super well arranged.

We've had the best time! Such a lovely house and such a lovely host, always available if you have any questions. the place is perfect to go with kids.. and even our dog was welcome! To have the jacuzzi was a very lovely addition to the house. We've been using the BBQ every night. The Internet is not working that well.. but as long you can enjoy the outside that should not be a problem.. A place to enjoy!

we had booked this nice cottage in the forest with our 6 and it was really ideal. the weather forecast had predicted very warm weather. but where we were sitting it was really good temperature! we booked the well ourselves in the afternoon, where we were able to relax and cool off. we will definitely come back here again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Very good stay in the cottage! Small problem on arrival, not the fault of the owner who found a solution very quickly and did not bother us at all during our stay. Close to a small welcoming village! Very nice inhabitants. Lots of hiking to do without using the car. Everything is in compliance in the campsite! Small restaurant that we recommend, cheap and excellent!! Thank you!!

Wonderfully quiet cottage with 3 floors. Very tastefully decorated, everything has been thought of. With private entrance, outdoor seating and a BBQ. Too short for 1 night!

Excellent stay in a beautiful private location in small valley on river. Super for kids of all ages, or older groups. Everyone very friendly and helpful

This is a 5 star place. Spacious, clean, extremely well equipped. Communication with Savina was easy and proactive. She kindly let us check out a bit later when we had car trouble. We enjoyed cooking together and evenings on the sofa, the kids could play outside and we could let them roam without worry. Comfy beds and quiet nights made for good sleep. If you come with kids you have to visit bois de rêves, great playground in the area.

Very nice house for a weekend with friends. The house is close by car to downtown and activities. The hosts are very welcoming and accommodating.

I highly recommend this place! Everything is super modern and a highlight for the four-legged friends is the fenced terrace. Natalie is a friendly host, responds quickly and takes good care of her guests. We will be happy to come back :)

stayed there with 5 people from June 13 to 16, 2025. House is cozy and equipped with everything. Beautiful garden with seating. wonderfully quiet, could bbq. despite the fact that she lives next door, you have all the privacy. we had good contact with Jeanne, she is very nice and helpful. cars could be covered and gate at entrance gives extra security. we will definitely be back. This accommodation was perfect, an indoor and free swimming pool in the campsite, games for children, bouncy castles, a pond for swimming 10 min walk. It was super comfortable with all the necessities. Thank you so much

Me and two of my friends stayed at Laurent's place for 6 days. The location of the house is fantastic and private, with sufficient amenities and comfortable beds (we're tall guys). The area and lake nearby are great to walk/hike too. Laurent is very responsive and helpful. We may come back again some time!

We had a lovely few days in the cottage! The space was comfortable, kitchen was well equipped and modern, the surroundings were very calm and quiet. Small details that are nice - lots of storage room in the bathroom, bedroom and mezzanine, mirrors on many walls for getting ready. There are a lot of nature activities to do in the area - hikes leaving from the cottage, kayaking is not far, smaller caves in the area, castles and forts to walk around. Givet, France is not far for some activities and larger supermarkets

It was really nice to stay here! Our children (1 and 3 years) loved the booklets and bikes, tractor and motorcycles for outdoors. I'm glad there's a care pillow, cot with mattress and 1 bed gate for the single bed!
