The recently converted Nissen Barn is located on a farm in its own private meadow. The barn is surrounded by the beautiful Essex countryside - rolling hills, ancient trees, wildflowers and grasses, hedgerows, horses and sheep. The conversion was completed in March 2021 and sleeps 4 adults in 2 big bedrooms. There is also a loft bedroom accessed by a hidden door with a king size mattress suitable for older children or couple. Perfect for families, but note there is no enclosed garden.

Lovely stay. Was great to have flexible check in times as we had traveled far. Apartment was super clean, which seems to have been newly refurbished. Thank you for the amazing stay, we may be back again soon! Only negative comment was that the hallways within the apartment block had no lights.

Great place to stay in a nice quiet area, whilst also within a short driving distance of Chelmsford city centre. I highly recommend.

The location was quiet and tranquil, House very well maintained - only recommendation is a black out blind in bedroom as sun streams into the room about 4:30 am. Kitchen well equipped, excellent communications throughout the process - clear, concise and repeated. The environment within the house was of a high quality with literally every item you required. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Wonderful stay for a week in Chelmsford. We had our toddler with us and host provided a travel cot, even though they did not have one previously. Very responsive and the flat is so welcoming and well decorated! Beds are comfortable, one bed is more firm and the other more squishy. The couch was great for evening in while our toddler slept. So close to everything in the high street and the station. We traveled to London via train and Raleigh via bus during our stay. Would love to stay again in future!
