This place is a goldmine! If you’re looking to get away from the resorts and enjoy a stunning beach then here is where you need to book. The views and the pool were gorgeous. Carl was quick to respond to anything we asked or needed. I highly recommend this amazing apartment. It’s got air conditioning, all the kitchen equipment you need, not that we used it except for the coffee machine, he even allows you to use snorkel gear and kayak. Carl has to be one of the most gracious hosts ever! It’s right next to a little bar and fish market. The huge glass doors open to beauty and splendor. It’s a bit of trek down to Bridgetown, but that’s what we wanted. Our only complaint was the water pressure in the shower. There’s not much of it and so showering wasn’t the best. But I assure you - it’s doable. The view and the host more than make up for the shower!!

Group trip to Barbados, most of whom stayed at a large place up the hill from us. We spent most of our time there or exploring, but this BnB was an excellent retreat to get away from our group and have some peace & quiet. It's on the main road, but I did not notice cars at night. We only did breakfast here, as we did group meals at the other house, or ate out. But the kitchen is very well equipped. The unit has very secure doors, with inner lockable iron gates - allowing a lovely ocean breeze!!! Incredible sunset view from the balcony, with a 180 degrees of ocean. Peaceful & relaxing. The private beach right out front is awesome! Watch your shoes don't float away! Hehehe. Great hot water pressure in showers. AC in each room for sleeping. Check out "Happyness" for a cute date-night (12 min by car). There's tiny convenience store down the road (2 min walk). 5 min walk to the Fish Pot restaurant which is amazing. We drove to the animal reserve, and horse back riding.

Perfect for our long stay - quiet , relaxing getaway. House is well equipped, close to Catch 22 restaurant with the best Fishcakes in Barbados, secluded Archers Bay and The Animal Flower Cave. Size and comfort of garden and pool areas were pleasantly roomy, both were regularly attended to and were well kept. Comfortably large bedrooms with roomy en-suites. Breezy location, almost no need to use aircon units. House was well illuminated at night and local residents were friendly and respectful. Peter was a welcoming, friendly, professional and accommodating host. It was so good we'll happily stay again. A car is a must have for short trips to Speightstown etc.

Dorothy is a great host, she responded straight away when we had a slight problem on our first night with the key code. Beautiful villa, the photos don’t do it justice. Mesmerising sea views, so peaceful on the patio and balcony with a nice shaded area aswell as a sun lounging area with jacuzzi plunge pool. Comfortable beds with great air con, slept really well and enjoyed a nice coffee from the filter machine in the morning. The water pressure was very low due to Government work going on in the area, and although no fault of Dorothys it meant we needed to leave earlier than planned.

Simply put: PHENOMENAL. Kimberley's place and the experience she provided was above expectations in every way. The house, pool, and property were immaculate, the view was spectacular, and everything was stocked beyond what you could possibly need. Kimberley's communication was incredible; she was proactive, accessible, and checked in constantly to ensure we had everything we needed. If you've stumbled on this location and by some miracle it's available, I HIGHLY recommend booking it! One piece of advice: rent a car. While the beach is walkable, most of the restaurants and other places to visit up and down the west coast are more accessible by driving.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Dario's Airbnb in Speightstown! The property was clean and comfortable—exactly as pictured, if not better. Located on a quiet, colourful street only a short walk to the beach, and with plenty of restaurants near by this Airbnb was ideal. The property was very well maintained with a beautiful garden in the front, and mango tree in the back offering plenty of space to relax in peace in the sun or shade. The outdoor shower and drying lines were much appreciated on return from the beach. Dario was friendly and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed for a smooth and enjoyable stay. The Banks and snacks upon arrival were a lovely bonus treat! We wouldn’t hesitate to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, memorable getaway!

Lovely stay, Angel was very helpful and very responsive, the place was clean and tidy when we checked in, lovely view, definitely would book again.

We liked this villa quite a bit for its optimal location, interior and exterior design and decoration, view from the patio, and the pool. The Heywoods Beach is 5 min drive from the villa. You have a quick access to the north and west part of the island with there spectacular views. The pool has a good size and is well maintained. The kitchen was very well stocked and equipped, with everything we needed, including nice variety of spices and oils. All appliances were in very good condition. The grill located outside was great. Communication with hosts was seamless. Simon, the person who welcomed us to the villa, was very friendly and available on short notice. The only concern that we had were surveillance cameras that overlooked the patio. We couldn't feel comfortable knowing that someone is potentially watching us. We discussed the issue with the host and came to satisfactory agreement on when cameras will stay active. It is our understanding that by default they are on.
