Waterfront vacation rentals in Chattooga River

I have stayed in Carolyn's units several times. She is a fantastic host and very responsive. The apartment had everything we needed for a week's stay. There are snacks too! We were at a conference with people dropping in for lunch so I particularly appreciated the extra table and chairs. I slept on the bed and sofa and both were comfortable. The lake view and access to the walking trail are perfect. The close proximity to Stuart Auditorium was a must for me. I highly recommend Carolyn's units and am already booked for next year.

Location, location, location! Everything is within walking distance. We loved leaving our car and just walking out the door. It's right above a restaurant so the parking lot does get crowded, but you do have a designated parking spot. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the tubers in the river. At night all the buildings are lit up and the view is great. The rental itself was perfect for what we needed. The listing doesn't mention it, but it does have a hairdryer and washer/dryer inside. Huge comfy bed. Overall a great stay!

Beautiful location! The host is definitely a nature person with beautiful plants and chickens. The place was both invigorating and tranquil. Definitely recommend!!

A most beautiful view and such spacious lodging. I would sleep with the window open and fall asleep to the sound of the river. I was amazed to find out how much history was behind this property. Monisha has a book detailing history and places to go. We did go to the mineral bath which was a restorative experience. I appreciate Monisha advising us to book in advance. I highly recommend this property. A home away from home. 😊 Any questions I had Monisha promptly answered.

Our family LOVED staying at Deborah's Apartment in Anderson. Our boys had a GREAT time fishing. The community was very peaceful and everyone we met was very welcoming. The apartment was clean, adorable and had everything we needed for our stay in Anderson. The view was also AMAZING! We would definitely visit again.

It was beautiful and it looks like there is a lot to do in the area! Susan also provides a lot of fun opportunities if you want to use the equipment. We were just stopping for the night but might stay again some time in the future it was so nice!!

This property really surprised us! It was much nicer than we could have imagined. The price was amazing. The location was perfect. Everything about it was just wonderful.

We had a great weekend staying at Jeff's house. Everything was clean and comfortable. There were plenty of supplies on hand. The pond has frogs, geese, and plenty of fish. We love the afternoon sounds of the bullfrogs. A very peaceful place to be. We will definitely return in the near future!

We had a great week! Beautiful view, spacious condo and very comfortable! The kids loved the pool and lake access both within walking distance. We also enjoyed paddle boarding and nearby hikes! Definitely recommend- we will be back.

Absolutely perfect. We stayed for the week with our five kids (6,4,3, & 1 year old twins) and had an amazing family vacation. The space worked perfectly for our needs as a large family with small kids and the beach area was especially perfect for toddler playtime. The waterfall across the way was stunning and we loved boating around, fishing, swimming, fires by the lake, and rainy evenings in the hot tub. Such an amazing place for families!

The setting was peaceful and beautiful—perfect for a relaxing family getaway. The layout of the home is ideal for families, with plenty of space to spread out and enjoy time together. Our kids had a blast playing all the games provided and especially loved the mini putt-putt course! The hot tub was a relaxing treat in the evenings, and the gourmet kitchen was impressively well-equipped—it made cooking meals a breeze. The home was clean, thoughtfully decorated, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially enjoyed the quiet mornings on the deck overlooking the lake. The only small downside was the mattress—it was quite soft and felt a bit like sleeping in a crater, which made it harder to fully relax and recharge at night. With a more supportive mattress, this place would be just about perfect! Really enjoyed it!

Your rental home was one of the best. The accommodations for 3 couples was perfect. Your response to our needs was immediate and appreciated. We had run out of propane for the gas grill and it was replenished the very next day. Thank you for your help with the TV. We found it a little confusing! It was very special to meet Mr. Driskel. He was very generous with the fish he caught and his knowledge of fishing was very helpful. It was a pleasure to talk to him. He certainly is an asset to your rental! Awesome oasis in tree-covered canopy! We stayed at the airstream more then we ventured out! We loved the outdoor area and even took a nap on the sofa! We took numerous dips in the hot tub and grilled out! We loved the tree-lighted areas indoors and very detail has been thought out! Thank you for a wonderful getaway and would definitely recommend to others! Loved tubing with Brevard Tubing .3 miles away! Hiked to waterfalls in DuPont State Park. Well worth it! Beautiful! Walked in downtown Brevard to shop. A must!

My husband and I had a wonderful week’s stay at the cabin. Communication with the host was so easy and they were very quick to respond and even offer suggestions of places to go. The cabin was very clean. We brought our stand alone hammocks and enjoyed listening to the soothing sound of the creek after long days of hiking and exploring.

We absolutely loved our stay here! It’s the perfect get away on the lake for big groups. It is in a quiet neighborhood. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you could need. 10/10 recommend!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The place is privately located but within walking distance of downtown Gatlinburg. Every night my 2 year old wanted to go down to the river and play! :) We will totally be staying here again!

This is the second time we have stayed with Ed and we absolutely love staying here. Clean and roomy condo. Close to the strip and grocery store and many restaurants. Great condo with a beautiful view! Will stay again.

We couldn't have asked for it to be any better, everything was clean and tidy, no dust in the corners, no funky smells, no carpet and that is definitely a plus for me. I did not have to contact our host for anything, instructions were clear before we left home, we had everything we needed. I would definitely stay again

We had a great stay at Chris condo! Everything was super clean. Beds were comfy. Loved the location! There was a large balcony with nice seating. Easy to find even at midnight Lol. Jackie's place was perfect for my family of three. My husband and I loved having a balcony facing the river attached to the bedroom, while my teenage son settled in comfortably in the sofa bed in the living room. The location was perfect. Very peaceful away from the busyness of the many attractions with a short drive to all the everything Pigeon Forge has to offer. Great recommendations for restaurants by Jackie with the Local Goat being our favorite for dinner. Applewood Farm House Restaurant is within walking distance and we highly recommend for breakfast! Check-in was easy, even though our code didn't work, I messaged Jackie and she was very responsive and had us in with a new code in minutes! Check out instructions were simple and clearly laid out in the notebook created with lots of helpful information. Definitely a great choice for a family visiting the area. We even saw a large group of Canadian Geese floating by on our last day!

Darlene was a great host and the house was excellent. we We enjoyed the views and privacy. the pontoon boat sunset cruise was enjoyable and the activities were good. we were disappointed in the meal at the lodge and lack of walking paths around the reserve. the narrow winding roads made the impossible to walk.

This spot was amazing to stay in and we would absolutely visit again. Close enough to downtown to have fun but far enough away that you felt like you had a private space in the woods. The upstairs swing was pure bliss with a cozy, fluffy blanket on a brisk morning. The only real issue we ran into during our stay was with parking. The garage only fits 2 cars comfortably and we had 3. The person with the most reliable E brake gets the hill! Also, bring your own toiletries. They weren't provided and the local store is a little pricey.

We absolutely loved our stay here! We came with our 4 year old and our teenager. Both of them had a great time and had plenty of things to do that they both enjoyed, which is not usually the case with their age gap. The place itself had lots of toys and books for my toddler and her own bed. There were also games to play with my teenager as well. The kitchen was fully stocked and the house had all the little details like beach towels, an airfryer, and a picnic basket. The screened porch was a favorite location for all us to enjoy. We even saw a bear one day from the porch! The resort was a blas!. We utilized both in the indoor and outdoor pools, the mini golf, and the lake. We had no problem finding good food at the restaurants around us and the store was super close as well. We spent half of our time at the resort and half of it out exploring the nature surrounding us. There were sooo many waterfalls to see. It is such a beautiful area, we will most definitely be coming back!
