Beachfront vacation rentals in Chatham

This is a great cottage … excellent location, everything you need provided . Can’t fault it. We had a fab time , would definitely recommend & I would book again.

This place is great. Fiona was friendly, helpful and informative from the start. She gave us advice and guidance about her place unlike some people who are over the top with their rules. Her place is very clean and comfortable. It is also very stylish with high quality fittings. I don’t think I’ve stayed in a place that is more equipped; the kitchen has so much. Fiona has really thought about the place and what is needed as a guest. Parking in the local area was straightforward and the neighbourhood is quiet and safe. We walked to the Old Neptune, Tapas and the newish pizza place also on Harbour Street. Very good coffee from Grain and Hearth and Blueprint. This was a perfect place for us as 4 adults- us two in our 50s and our daughter and her partner (18/19 year olds). Excellent.

Felt immediately at home in this gorgeous cottage by the sea. Loved staring out to sea from the comfort of the king bed in the main bedroom. The living room is cosy, the kitchen is fully equipped and bright and sunny in the morning. The bathroom is also bright with a good shower and cute bath. The lookout room and attic room with velux windows are all about the sea view too. Everything is walking distance. The car park space is ideal. I would definitely stay here again. It feels like home from home to me, but by the sea. Everything functions really well and has its own place. It feels like the owners may have lived here as it’s truly set up that way and not just a rental. Really happy I found this place! We’ll probably be back :)

Wonderful stay in a lovely location. We stayed during the week so it was quieter which was good as my dog was with me and can be reactive but did surprisingly well. Being in old Leigh was lovely and right by the beach. I found parking really easy in the area and not expensive. Loved my stay and would definitely recommend.

Tara was absolutely incredible. She was so responsive, helpful and accommodating before I had even arrived, and this continued long after my stay when I had left an item behind. The Thai Retreat was idyllic and looked exactly like the photos - a beautiful tiny home surrounded by lush gardens, creating the perfect private and quiet escape. Only a short 5-10 minute walk from the centre, and 20 minute walk from Tankerton. The location was perfect, and the amenities will not disappoint. I highly recommend this stay and look forward to visiting again for another weekend escape. Thank you so much for having us, Tara.

Southbeach was a lovely place to stay, really well-maintained and Sal was super lovely, responsive and attentive. Would recommend to others.

We have never been to Herne Bay . As it such fine weather ,and rather than me paying silly prices for a hotel in London, we found this gem . It very near the beach and the facilities Herne Bay had to offer were fantastic , both busy and quiet and great notices of local facts eg Amy Johnson. Also easy walk from railway station. Followed up the hosts recommendation of local facilities and saw fabulous sunset from the pub . The host answered very quickly the one query we had . Would recommend for even singles, as it felt a safe area , as well as couples with or without children, or in our case a doggy . All facilities for him also .

It’s a really clean caravan, looks exactly like the pictures. It had everything we needed, it was a great base to be able to visit family nearby. Communication was great as well. We will be booking again next time we are down.

We had a lovely stay at Anna's caravan. it had everything you need it in, it was very clean. We will book again for next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Gills caravan. It was spotlessly clean and had a well equipped kitchen. ( we like cooking) The rooms were very comfy and the outside space was a plus in the sunshine. Gill was extremely helpful and friendly and the area was very dog friendly with loads of lovely walks straight from the site. It was our first time In The area and we will definitely be back. We had such an amazing couple of days staying here. The facilities. Spotless and clean. The neighbours and everything was superb. We had absolutely no issues what so ever and it’s definitely worth a stay. The pool outside was lovely and spotless. Will 100% be back.

this was a beautiful home from home caravan had everything we needed lovely location to visit different spots. was very peaceful had great outdoor swimming pool club house was lovely but we was there not during school holidays so they didnt have much going on in the clubhouse and was only open 5 till 9 but so many lovely places to eat at whistable it was fine. the beach was 5 minute walk away (pepple beach) and was beautiful to watch the sunset and sunrise, we also dont drive but had bus service just outside caravan site straight into whistable/Canterbury. we would defo visit again place and people where lovely.

First time hiring a hut and I’m so glad I did. This little hut was cute and had everything you needed. I messaged Maria asking for a little something for my mum’s bday and she did 😊. No bad reviews we’re planning on hiring more often, all it could do with is a little tlc ie painting needs updating, the windbreakers need replacing and possibly something for the ground by the doors as it’s hard to open the doors with the stones. But other then that it was lovely and we had such a lovely time , we locked everything up in the hut and took a walk to the pier and came back it was lovely thank you ☺️

Exactly what it says on the tin, as they say. Friendly people, a nice little grass dog walking area next to a nature reserve. Pub opposite served lovely food as does the clubhouse I’m sure, although we didn’t get to eat there it served a lovely Guinness and provided great entertainment from bingo to cabaret. All in all very happy and hope to go book even just for a mini weekend break. Sandra and her hubby, nice people and very helpful, thank you both. Mark & Michelle

Jason’s place was wonderful for our little family and super close to old town and new town. Sara’s was great for brunch Sunday morning and the Library playground and library were great for my little one on Saturday.

Visited Whitstable for a long weekend with our two kids. The cottage is in a great location, only a few minutes walk from the beach. Check in was easy with a lock box and the cottage was charming. Some had commented that the stairs were steep which they are, but fine for us and our kids (5 and 8 years old). Would happily come back again and would recommend.

Me and my family had a lovely time at the beautiful apartment. 5 minute walk from the seaside and surrounded by many shops. The apartment was spotless and felt like a home away from home. Modern kitchen and bathrooms, and had everything you would need for your stay. The host responded as soon as we needed him and was very kind to facilitate our needs.

Lovely little cottage right by the sea. Toria and Jo were very helpful and super quick to respond to any questions. We stayed with young children and the place catered to every need for parents a babies/toddlers. The place was really charming and colourful with a little outdoor space perfect to enjoy a quiet cup of tea in the morning. The best part being how close the beach was. Highly recommend.

House was lovely and perfect for myself and my adult daughters. Felt at home as soon as we went through the door. Extremely clean, and very well equipped. Beautiful mirrors everywhere, would have been useful though to have one over the bathroom sink. No wardrobes and not much storage in the bedrooms but we managed very well. Definitely want to return with my husband, well worth the 6 hour drive to get there!
