Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Châtellerault

We felt very lucky to be able to stay in Catherine's beautiful gite. We were made so welcome from the minute we arrived. The gite is calm, clean and beautifully decorated. We especially enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and the silence. The pool was a welcome retreat during the hottest part of the day. The many trees create areas of shade whilst the flowers add colour in the many different pockets of interest. We would thoroughly recommend Catherine's gite and would love to return ourselves one day.

We had a pleasant time at Cécilia and Ken's. The accommodation is very functional, easy to access, secure, restored and tastefully decorated with charm. conveniently located next to the Futuroscope, this accommodation is perfect for recovering from a good day. It is quiet, the peaceful environment and waking up with their animals make this place a soothing place that we recommend. Looking forward to coming back to discover the rest of the area. Amanda felt like family immediately, she is kind and accomodating and made our stay perfect and very special. She is incredibly generous with her time and resources. ‘Le Barn’, in the grounds of Chateau Belebat, is a charming accommodation which is beautifully and tastefully presented by the engaging hosts Jeff and Oscar. It is a peaceful, rural location, ideal as a base from which to explore this area of the Loire by car. For those on 2 wheels, it is worth mentioning the cycle path close by which connects to the local village with the all important Boulanger just 2km away from Le Barn. The nearby town of Richelieu is worth a visit and there are numerous other attractions in the locality. We picnicked by the river, tasted and bought wine in various Chateaux, explored Saumur, Chinon, Amboise, and several smaller villages, discovered charming restaurants, explored local markets and toured some of beautiful Chateaux gardens. Overall a wonderful spot although the little seating area outside Le Barn is not particularly private or comfortable if one wanted to chill/sleep/read a book in complete peace for an hour or two after a hard day sightseeing.

Patrice and Christel are lovely hosts. Patrice showed us his old restored wood-burning oven, shared his passion for plants and his beginnings as a beekeeper. We were also able to taste the cherries. The house is as described. We were able to enjoy the private area of the garden overlooking the countryside. Perfect for those looking for some peace and quiet after visiting the Loire castles all day. We recommend it without hesitation.

Mary is very welcoming and cares about the well-being of her guests. We spent one night there, the accommodation was comfortable and had everything we needed.

Accommodation as described, everything was exactly as mentioned in the listing, very good for 4 people, a little tight for 6. I would recommend this place, close to the Futurocope and all other shops.

Great experience, Christophe is very responsive and was able to respond to all our requests (including a forgotten accessory that he was able to leave for us in the apartment 1 hour before our arrival), in addition we were able to benefit from preferential rates at Futuroscope! The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos, the bedding is very comfortable, everything is available for a very pleasant short stay! Free parking and Futuroscope/Aquascope accessible in less than 10 minutes by a small secure pedestrian road. Thank you for everything!

Perfect studio for a night close to Futuroscope. The listing is as described. Clean accommodation and the arcade machine has its little effect for retro-gaming lovers. The bedding is fine and the bathroom is sufficient, the hair dryer is a plus.
