Our unique former water reserve in the grounds of our C18 wine chateau has been lovingly transformed into a 32m2 off-grid bed and breakfast suite with a king bed, shower room/toilet, private terrace and equipped outdoor kitchen. A charming Logis de chasse (hunting lodge) dating from 1666, on the edge of the village of Saint German de Montbron, nestling in the beautiful Charente countryside. We have two very spacious bedrooms, a large salon, kitchen and bathroom. All is fully modernised. Access to the garden for outdoor dining, barbecue, all in a very pretty garden. Use of the owners above ground pool and 2 acres of garden. We also have a second gite, for two people, listed on Airbnb, making it ideal for larger groups.

Gorgeous Gite in Dordogne, Private Pool & Fibre

The gite was lovely and Lynn and Nicola were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately we had to leave after a few days because my elderly husband had banged his head on the low doorway (despite it being labelled as low), stunned him and cut his head open. In view of his history of subdural haematoma this was worrying. And then he missed the low step into the bedroom and went flying, injuring his hand and chin. We thought it too risky to stay on but this was our problem, not the gite's. We were really sorry to have to leave. The garden was ideal for our dogs. The neighbourhood was pretty, and historic with some nice walks. We enjoyed exploring the countryside. We would not hesitate to recommend the gite although perhaps not so much for people with limited mobility.

Beautiful rental. Everything is provided in this cottage. Nothing is missing. Isabelle is always available by phone at any time. The beds are very comfortable. The welcome by Patrice is also very good. The explanations are clear. Finally, if you want to rest, do not hesitate to come to this accommodation. In addition, you will discover a beautiful garden that is very well maintained and of course a very beautiful region for beautiful hikes.

Beautiful charming home with pool Périgord Vert

We had a wonderful stay at Fabienne and Nigel's place, very welcoming, pleasant and available hosts. Ideal for a few days with friends, we were able to enjoy the beautiful pool and park whose maintenance is remarkable. The castle is also splendid, we consider ourselves lucky to have been able to stay there and would happily come back.

Le Grenier, charming cottage

We were warmly welcomed by Caroline, she was attentive to our well-being and comfort throughout the week. When we arrived, we found something to “eat and drink” which made it very easy for us to start our stay. The level of equipment is higher than what is advertised: large bath towels + fluffy pool towels, coffee pods, full breakfast, herbal teas and tea, comfortable garden and rest furniture, large private garden. To watch the Olympics, the big screen was perfect! The pool area is particularly nice and well done, the layout is very relaxing. The spaces for the different homes are distinct and allow everyone's privacy. We leave with fond memories of each place we enjoyed at Caroline's

Our recent stay at Fiona's stunning home in France was absolutely magical, and truly one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how gorgeous the house was, beautifully appointed with so much charm and comfort. But what truly made our trip exceptional was Fiona herself. She is, without a doubt, the most amazing host imaginable. Fiona had thought of literally everything we could possibly have needed, and then some! The house was incredibly well-equipped, making our stay effortless and so enjoyable. Beyond the practicalities, Fiona's genuine warmth and hospitality shone through constantly. Her local recommendations were fantastic, helping us discover some hidden gems and make the most of our time in France. We already miss the place and can’t wait to return!

We had a great 2 weeks with our children at Martine and Daniel's. The hosts are very friendly and are committed to making the stay enjoyable. We enjoyed impeccable, spacious accommodation, a beautiful exterior, lots of calm, splendid views of the countryside... The kids loved the pool! We found many things to do: nature walks, castles, caves, swimming in a lake… A big thank you for hosting us!
