Stay in the Artist's Barn! Set in a beautiful garden in the charming village of Wye, the Barn is a delightful place to spend the night and escape from the world. It's a unique experience, filled with lovely paintings, porcelain cows, a miniature doll's house, and all sorts of unexpected delights. An ideal way to experience life in an English village, or explore the countryside of East Kent, and the nearby sights of Canterbury and Dover.
“We loved our stay in the Artists Barn. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, close to the local shops and amenities and an easy walk to Wye train station. The barn was cosy and comfy, with lovely extra touches such as fresh flowers, tea, coffee and milk in the fridge. Penelope left us lots of info about the area and was there to show us around when we arrived. Would definitely stay here again!”
An immaculately-presented detached cottage, situated in the heart of Kent's glorious countryside close medieval village of Lenham and offers easy access to Canterbury, Maidstone and Ashford. This cottage has been stylishly converted from old stable buildings, and retaining some original features that date back to 1732, it has now been refurbished to a high standard, offering a contemporary feel throughout. Set entirely across the ground floor, it's a great choice for less mobile guests.
“We had a great time, lenham is the hearth of Kent. Everything is close by. Londen can be visites by train in a bit more then an hours journey. Warmer castle en Leeds castle are our best daytrips that week. For new visitors is our advice to buy a heratige card for a week. Unless you don’t like castles. The house is tidy and tastefull. It was bigger than it appears in foto’s There is a big garten to play in, or to sit in and rest. The surrroundings are quiet, you can hear the trains sometimes, but you can barely hear them. We recommend this place for families, hikers or couples. Kent is realy worthwhile to explore.”
We live in a newly refurbished house in a no through road location in Ashford. It has a brand new kitchen and is light and bright with a few quirks. we live with a boundless Samoyed dog called Ted who is very friendly. Our house is a five minute walk to Ashford outlet and a 15 minute walk to Ashford international station and the euro tunnel. Only 37 mins travel time to London. We are also close to 24hr Asda and a couple of local shops for everything you may need on your stay
“When I am working away from home, I have stayed at Kate's a few times, because I want somewhere that is clean, comfortable and friendly. This is the place. See you again soon Kate”
