Did I also say that it is 30 min away from Transalpina, the highest road in Romania? Or that it's 10 minutes away from the first chairlift that takes you to the Parang resort? Who knows, maybe after a whole day of skiing you want to enjoy the tranquility offered by the tub*. *For the tub (en: hot tube) an extra fee is charged.

Luminoasă și amplasată la ultimul etaj, locuința oferă o perspectivă remarcabilă asupra orașului, cu o priveliște îndepărtată spre râul Olt. O scurtă plimbare de 10-15 minute vă va conduce în inima orașului. La parterul blocului, veți găsi un minimarket, iar în jurul blocului există supermarketuri, restaurante, o brutărie, o cofetărie și chiar un centru comercial.

Am cautat sa oferim o experienta placuta si cu mult timp petrecut in natura. Intreaga casa este la dispozitia ta. Poate vrei sa savurezi un pahar de vin vechi langa un steak de vita la lumina focului. Sau sa citesti in liniste o carte, sub lumina stelelor. Poate vrei pur si simplu un loc unde sa uiti de gadget-uri si sa nu faci nimic cat e ziua de lunga. Am amenajat o pergola unde poti lua masa. O terasa cu sezlonguri pentru relaxare. O zona cu un firepit unde poti sta seara.

Alexandra’s place is a lovely place to stay. It can be confusing to find. To clarify, pass the Pension Ayana and take a right before the green garbage cage. Then take the first left onto a gravel road. The parking space to the left of the shed. Alexandra will give you the code to offer access. We loved Alexandra’s recommendation of hikes (lacul mia) and restaurant conacul radacinilor (lovely) Pension Ayana was ok: the pizza was terrible but the wiener schnitzel was good. I was interested in other things to eat but it would take the chef an hour to make. As it was, there was a 40 minute wait. The triangle house was clean, charming and well designed. It has a fire pit, barbecue and a jacuzzi. It was lovely and deserves its 5 stars. Thank you Alexandra!

Polovragi's house is a real peaceful oasis. We quickly felt very good there. Surrounded by nature, the outside is arranged to spend great moments: possibility of making a fire, small wooden pool, very convenient outdoor kitchen. Inside this house is very modern and pleasant. The host offers us lots of care: delicious brioche, country living water, nespresso coffee maker available, Netflix on TV... We had a great stay there, we would have stayed longer! The house is located near the gorges of the Olt which you can walk or drive. There are also the monastery and cave for you to visit. A great discovery that this highly recommendable home!

The owner was extremely interested. I was very pleased with the many treats and quality details I encountered in the house. The house was really clean. It definitely pays off. I would definitely recommend it.

A triangular window is framed by wooden walls, allowing ample natural light to fill the space. Lush green foliage is visible outside, with a glimpse of water reflecting the vegetation. A modern pendant light hangs from the ceiling, adding a stylish touch to the serene view.
