Vacation rentals with lake access in Central Otago

Juliet's homestay is just beautiful!The balcony is the lake view and mountain view, the matching facilities are complete, there is everything you think of here, and there is a semi-automatic coffee machine, we stayed for three days very enjoyed and saw the rainbow🌈!

This crib is all about the view which is clearly spectacular. No other reviews have referenced the property’s layout which I will do here - not as a criticism, but as an observation so that folks can take same into consideration. The property has 2 bedrooms - however they are effectively joined (wth a small ante room in between) meaning that the second bedroom can only be accessed via the first bedroom. This arrangement is certainly noted in the property description; however it’s not apparent from the photos. Folks may need to take this arrangement into account, depending on who they’re sharing with, noting that the occupant of the second bedroom needs to pass through the first bedroom to access the bathroom. My sister and I very much enjoyed our stay & everything the property and surrounds had to offer! Thanks Fiona!

A beautiful home with a truly spectacular view!! It felt so peaceful to sit in front of the fireplace and just look out over the lake. It was more than enough space for the 5 of us to really relax. Hot tub was a great bonus!

Absolutely stunning!!! From stepping into this beautiful space we were welcomed to peaceful music and a warm space to invite us in. We were in awe of the view and spent most of the afternoon sitting with a cuppa and looking out. The beds were very comfortable and warm and the shower was also excellent. Would definitely stay again and would highly recommend to anyone.

The location of this home in Kingston is just breathtaking. The lake, the mountains, the quaint little town -- all of it is perfect. It is a 45-ish minute drive from Queenstown, but that was a plus for us as we had day trips planned to Milford Sound and Invercargill. Plus, the drive to Queenstown is so beautiful. The house was very clean and cozy. We made ample use of the washing machine (which conveniently has a dryer option as well). I would highly recommend a stay at Ian's.

We enjoyed our staying at this lovely, cozy and well prepared place. The house is beautiful and the kitchen is organised perfect and easy to use. The location to the town centre is great only 5 mins taking to pretty all of restaurants and marts. Definitely recommend this place.

The view from Paul and Cat’s home was out of this world. Every morning we were greeted with a view that is straight out of a postcard. The house was clean, spacious and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Paul and Cat were very helpful and prompt in their communications. We enjoyed our stay here!

Short walk from all the action in Queenstown, great for nights out and being able to walk back. Also super close and drivable to Remarkables Ski Slopes! Apartment was clean, modern and well equipped with underfloor heating, a fireplace, heated towel rack and a washer / dryer. To top it off, amazing views of the lake and postcard worthy backdrop. Would highly recommend!

My partner and I spent a few days here for our first trip to Queenstown and it was absolutely perfect, we loved our stay! The apartment itself is tidy and cosy and the view of the lake is beautiful and even better than the photos 😍 Kirsty was a great host and made sure we had everything we needed as well as providing some great local recommendations including a scenic walk into town, which we loved doing every day. We would stay here again and 100% recommend!

A truly wonderful apartment in a fantastic location, 3 mins walk to the town centre. Karen was an excellent host and was very responsive throughout, providing lots of local recommendations.

The view is stunning. The kitchen ware is a bit few for cooking couple menu at the same time. For me the second bedroom is a bit cold for the heater they provide. Overall is good place for staying here.

A place was really good and location looks soo fabulous. Eve is really helpful if we need anything. It’s worth to stay for 4 days.

Such a perfect house! Compact yet very well-equipped with all the amenities we needed. The house was pristine clean, and the location was peaceful and quiet, very ideal for a relaxing stay. Beautiful place to stay — had everything we needed and more. Adam popped in for a chat and was an absolute legend! Super friendly, full of great energy, and incredibly knowledgeable. He answered all our questions with ease. Adam also runs his own company, Fiordland Historic Cruises, and judging by how well he runs his Airbnb, you can tell his business would be top-notch too. So make sure to do your research before you come and support him — good people like this deserve it. Highly recommend!

Clare’s place was fantastic. So so well appointed with everything you could possibly need - it was so well considered. The location was stunning and perfect for a chilled cosy weekend in front of the log burner. Instructions for check in and the house itself were super easy to follow and Clare was brilliant for communication. Highly recommend adding on the spa pool for a relaxing soak overlooking a gorgeous view.

You couldn’t ask for a nicer little place, it was sparkling, clean very comfortable and perfect location for my needs. I would recommend Judith’s place every time. Communication was easy and very quick check in no problem at all. Check out same way cheers, Richard.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at the cottage. It was so cosy and everything had been thought of - comfortable bed, skylight for stargazing, outdoor bath and even slippers. We appreciated all the baby items that were set up and the toys and books. It’s in a great location and a short drive to so many great walks and scenic spots. Thank you Sean & Jana for creating such a special place.

Excellent cottage! Beautiful courtyard, nice view and quite. There is a red folder provide all information including home appliances manual. Welcome cookie and warmfirplace have been set up before arrived. Highly recommend for all Airbnb user!

We loved staying at the cottage! It had beautiful views, was cozy, comfortable and being on Lake Pukaki at the beginning and end of every day was amazing. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Very roomy and comfortable accommodation. Large bathroom with a fabulous tub. We used the washer and dryer…very handy. Heated floors kept the place warm and cosy. Kitchen is well equipped. Would stay there again. Thanks Peter and Yanli.
