Beachfront vacation rentals in Central Manitoulin

Great spot to stay to explore Manitoulin. The location is very central so it's quick to drive to the top spots. Fire pit and beach access at the location is a great perk. Nano is a very friendly and responsive host, helped us with some small issues during our stay.

Our family was here for a few days on our road trip. It’s definitely a more rustic cabin. But has amazing views and we definitely enjoyed kayaking and the beach. One thing that I didn’t realize before booking is this house is on land where other family is. We didn’t run into anyone (other than the step dad showing us around when we got there) but I feel it’s worth noting. The beach is on their property too. The house also had a lot of family photos and personal belongings. Which made it almost feel like you were staying in someone’s house. All and all, it was a good stay, just feel like these would be things that people may want to know.

Our stay was lovely. So private and so beautiful. It was a grounding experience to be so close to nature. Decks with seating surround the entire cabin giving a tremendous opportunity to enjoy the outdoors.

We had a fantastic time and loved the hot tub, fire pit and the chilled out location overlooking the lake and watching the sunsets, thoroughly enjoyed our time and would definitely go back again, also loved the location as very close to tobermory.

Overall this cabin was beautiful and the group I was with are planning on going again next year. I would definitely recommend

We enjoyed our stay at Rene’s house very much. The living area is spacious, making it the perfect space for my family reunion of 6 to hang out, play games and cook (BBQ grill, well stocked kitchen utensils and appliances, table for 6 on the porch looking out to the water, etc). The private waterfront is gorgeous - the house is located down a private and quiet road, making it a very relaxing and peaceful setting. The pre-teens also loved the badminton net and trampoline! We had no issues with the house, but Rene was very communicative and made sure we had everything we needed. Overall, Rene’s house and all it provided allowed us to make many lasting memories.

We had a wonderful stay at Valentina’s place! The house was spotless, including the bathrooms, and the location near the lake was perfect—peaceful, quiet, and ideal for a relaxing getaway. My family, our dog Buddy (a black Standard Poodle), and I truly enjoyed our time there. Valentina is an excellent host, providing clear and thoughtful instructions—like removing shoes indoors—which we also do at home, and it definitely contributes to how clean everything is. The firewood sauna was a great experience. Although the hot tub jets weren’t working during our stay, but it was also pleasent in the chilly evenings Overall, it was a fantastic stay !

Sharon was an amazing host! She responded quickly when we had a few questions prior to the trip and kept in contact during our stay. Her place was very clean and had everything we needed. I would 100% recommend a stay at Sharon’s cabin. Thanks Sharon!

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. We especially loved the warm wooden interior and the spacious open-concept living, kitchen, and dining area. The view of the lake is stunning—we spent every evening on the patio watching the sunset and listening to the birds. The peaceful atmosphere made for a truly relaxing getaway. The house was very well equipped; we had everything we needed. The rooms were clean, cozy, and comfortable. It’s also conveniently located just a short drive from the Little Cove General Store—which I highly recommend for breakfast—and close to the Peacock grocery store. Tobermory is a charming town with great food and local art. We’d be happy to return and highly recommend Volodymyr’s place!

Came in October. The instructions on how to find the A frame cabin were clear. It was a bit tricky to find but thankfully Jen’s instructions led us straight there without getting lost. Check in was super easy as we arrived just as it was getting dark. We woke to a beautiful vista right on the water. Everything around the cabin was serene and quiet. No loud neighbor or kids in the vicinity. Very private with own beach and kayaking included. Kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. Bedding was supplied, mattresses were very firm but comfortable. Cabin itself was extremely spacious with huge windows and large back deck. Dining table inside and outside. Even a screened dining area close to the water in addition. Sandy area for a game of horseshoes, fire pit, new BBQ with utensils and plenty of parking. We had a wonderful peaceful experience and hoping to come back when the water is a bit warmer. Price was one of the best on the island for this season! Thank you Jen!

I had a fantastic time, the cottage was fantastic and the view was spectacular. I definitely would like to return next year. I also highly recommend this cottage to anyone who needs to relax and get away!

I felt at home from the time we entered the property. The cottage was very spacious and had a lot of natural light coming in. The sunroom/ living room was my favorite. You felt even when you were inside, you were still connected to the outside with all the windows. Outside it had a large deck, with a covered portion, and step down you could sunbath. The lake side was amazing, having crystal clear water and paddle boards, kayaks and a canoe. If that wasn’t enough, there was an amazing sauna that also had windows that allowed you to see the kids swimming in the lake. Bridal veil falls and the cup and saucer trails are really close by, which makes this property amazing. I will definitely book this property again.

The place is nice, beautiful place by the lake. Everything was great but there were just to many little flies due to the fact that it is just in the woods

That’s really great experience to live there, very cozy, relaxing place. Specially the lake view, we enjoyed the sun rise as well♥️. All necessary things provided. Must recommended place. I would like to visit again here. Amazing house 🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

The house met all expectations. It was super comfy and well set up for groups. Absolutely luxurious for our 4 adults. We enjoyed the fact it had personality and felt like a home.

If you are looking for 5 star luxury this is not for you....but if you are looking for 5 star super clean, quiet, amazing beach and hosts then this is for you!!!! Thank you Elaine and Gary.
