At an altitude of 850 m, pure nature, tranquility, unadulterated mountain meadows and many hiking and cycling trails await you. We rent out 2 appartments. You are looking at the smaller unit. (The larger unit you find here: https://www.airbnb.de/rooms/21642508) The stable from 1891 was renovated into a 3-unit-home in 2016. The surrounding gardens are a work in progress. The property is quite large and you can always find a quiet and peaceful spot in the sun. The night sky is wonderful for star gazing. Up to 10 stork families nest in the village from April to August each year.

Lovingly converted workshop in former stable building

The apartment is located in a 100-year-old barn of an idyllic village of 26 inhabitants surrounded by (almost) unspoiled nature on the edge of the Lüneburg Heath. It's an area without superlatives. Everything is very normal without major attractions. But this is exactly what we really appreciate about this area. Lots of nature, wide views and little distraction. It is a place where you can come to rest and draw strength.
